The moment Keith stepped in our house and took his shoes off, I immediately liked him…read more We had four rooms with 9 windows we were looking to get plantation shutters in. That was all we knew about shutters at that point. Keith was very in depth sharing his knowledge, background, and even going as far as talking about what I should expect from competitors in the area. They're the only independent guy left, American made, faster turn around even though it was shutter season when we were getting the quote (didn't know there was such a thing!) He was very precise and wasn't afraid to share his thoughts on what would look good in the house. Luckily, we thought alike so everything he recommended was exactly what I was looking for. Communication was amazing too! Erin was a delight from the first phone call setting up the first meeting at the house, updates for scheduling installation, payment, and even getting a quote WITHIN THE HOUR AFTER KEITH CAME TO THE HOUSE?? UNHEARD OF. BRAVO. Very outstanding company. There was a hiccup in the factory but they got everything fixed in a timely manner. I really appreciated the day they came back it was raining so they brought in a ton of runners so they wouldn't track water or dirt into the house. They wiped everything down and vacuumed! The team that came out was so nice, the turn around was faster than expected. My fiancé and I are so happy with their work and love that it's increased the value of our home. Every time we walk into the house or are just relaxing, I admittedly will just scream out I LOVE OUR HOUSE! I would also like to mention that I did get another bid from their competitor who 1. took longer 2. didn't give much education after I had said I had never owned shutters before 3. tracked dirt around the house with their shoes on 4. and the quote I received was $4000 MORE THAN THE SHUTTER GUY and LONGER turn around time!! LOOK NO FURTHER! THE SHUTTER GUY IS THE WAY TO GO!

We love our shutters!…read more We purchased our first set of shutters from The Shutter Guy around 8 years ago and loved them! When we moved into our new house this past December, we knew we had to have the same shutters again and didn't even consider going to anyone else other than The Shutter Guy. Their customer service, professionalism and the quality of their shutters were outstanding, from the initial call to request a quote to the final installation. I will recommend The Shutter Guy and their shutters to anyone and everyone! They are amazing!

The new person came to my house measured my windows then came a 4-5 weeks later am installer came and I had to work so my dad was at my house when the shutters were installed and over hung my window sill by a lot they looked terrible. So I call to say they looked terrible and ask for something different. I asked the owner several times to come out so I can explain what I mean because the pictures were hard to see. He never came I had an appointment sch but I was supposed to snow so he cancele. He comes back with new frames which thankfully worked but didn't caulk any of the nail holes. I have had shutters before and I personally think he miss measured because the shutter part is longer that my whole window frame. I think the shutters themselves are cheap. Just do your research before purchasing because they cost a lot of money to be unhappy.

Ben, Tony, Casper, and others are able to answer any question, on the phone and in person. The Benjamin Moore paints are great quality. In each room, we painted the ceiling, walls, and trim + baseboards. We didn't think the original ceilings were dark nor "dingy," but after seeing the new Benjamin Moore paint, we realized that they were dark and dingy... the Benjamin Moore ceiling paint is nice and bright and makes the room look SO MUCH BETTER! We also painted the walls and baseboards and trim. The baseboard and trim paint is amazing... it's "self-smoothing," which means that while you may see some light brush strokes on the surface shortly after you apply the paint, once you wake in the morning, the surfaces will be so nice and smooth, AND BRIGHT! ...just like the ceilings. When all surfaces are newly painted, you'll feel like you have a whole new house. Flanagan's has all the paint and painting supplies you need. Beyond paint, we also purchased... - an extension pole, which worked incredibly well... I didn't think it would save time compared to standing on the ladder, but I was MUCH quicker with the pole - so nice! - uncounted rollers - new roller so we could roll simultaneously - that little yellow thing to put on the top of the can so you don' have so much wasted paint when you pour from the can into the roller pan - inexpensive and worth every penny and then some - Krud Cutter - AMAZING for removing paint from the hard wood floors and for getting any grit and grime off any surfaces - stove, cabinets, countertops, and also the blinds THANK YOU, Flanagan's, for helping us make our house look so wonderfully nice! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Dec., 2020 Review - - - Our daughter's wanted to paint her bedroom for a while and we were able to make the time to finally paint a couple weekends ago. We visited Flanagan for the first time and it won't be the last. Their selection is strong... not only the wall paint and the many levels to choose from. They have all the brushes and drop cloths and other supplies to paint with. They also carry stains for wood and other surfaces. They also carry some handy box cutter knives up by the register. Our selection... Benjamin Moore's Coronado Paints - Golden Summer (C-5087); The team there as helpful and we look forward to returning. Thanks! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
