Mark was my go-to barber when I lived in Moline…read more Before we found out about Mark, my mom used to take me to Elmer's (corner of 23rd Ave. and 34th St) for haircuts. Elmer always looked like he was coming off a three-week bender, and he also spent the duration of every haircut talking about his most recent or upcoming trip to Vegas. I believe he also sported bolo ties on a regular basis. I then tried Mark's once in junior high, and I don't think I went anywhere else for the rest of my time in the Quad Cities. Eight bucks for a good, even haircut. I doubt it's still that cheap, but I'm sure the price is still right. You'll see gentlemen of all ages here, some of whom have been coming here longer than you've been alive. If you're a Beatles fan, you might consider a stop here, even if you're not in search of a haircut. Mark is a Beatles nut and has all kinds of memorabilia worth a look.

But the final straw was the last cluster f@#$ and because of that we will never go back! We actually made an appointment the day before with Maaz for 11am, the appointment was never confirmed so around 10am the day of I called and didn't really get a definitive answer so we went and they called Maaz who didn't answer the phone and while I was there the appointment was changed to Noon which we couldn't do. Now I ask you, why even have time slots if you can't adhere to a schedule because you're just to lazy and hungover to make it in to work?! Extremely Unprofessional

When it came to my turn I specifically told her I just wanted my brows cleaned up (they're already thick and full) and she gave me a very noticeable sharp arch that made me look like I was mad and giving everyone attitude... I had to fix them when I got home. But that's besides the point. She had products to give me a proper service (pre cleanse, and more to clean up after she did my brows) but for some reason just went right in with no prep or clean up and left me with brow hair all over my face. The worst part, was during the service. Brows don't take too long so I was surprised she put the service on pause. She told me to wait a second and left to go feed her kid in the MIDDLE of doing my eyebrows. She wasn't gone for a couple minutes either. I was left sitting there for over 10 minutes contemplating if she actually left the business or something...I wish I was joking. I haven't been back since and don't understand the good reviews honestly. I think people are just happy with an average service at a very low cost. I don't think that makes it excellent by any means. Not worth it. Was very disappointed in my service and overall experience there.
