Elmer always looked like he was coming off a three-week bender, and he also spent the duration of every haircut talking about his most recent or upcoming trip to Vegas. I believe he also sported bolo ties on a regular basis. I then tried Mark's once in junior high, and I don't think I went anywhere else for the rest of my time in the Quad Cities. Eight bucks for a good, even haircut. I doubt it's still that cheap, but I'm sure the price is still right. Chris bought the business from the Keith, who was a riot, and has improved the facility continuously and is the only person I would have cut my hair. Smart, interesting, a great family man and he is always pleasant and conversant on many subjects.
