Our purpose today was to look at some of their products and do some comparing to see exactly what we needed for a future project we would be doing. Our family has been using the supplies that are sold here for sometime. We have purchased landscaping rock, aka chop, along with mulch, flagstone and crushed rock with screenings. We have done many home-improvement projects over the years and we always enjoy the fabulous customer service that we get each time we visit Minick materials. In fact today, the staff was so sweet and kind as to give each of my children a gift from under their Christmas tree! My youngest daughter felt that gesture was extremely thoughtful and all were so grateful. The pros: Excellent products, top rate customer service, extremely professional employees, highly knowledgeable staff, prices are very reasonable and finally they make obtaining what you need hassle free. They do offer delivery but we have always used our trailer to pick up our purchase. I have even sent my landscaper over to have him pick items up and with a simple phone call I can pay over the phone so that he can deliver them to my house. I cannot think of any cons about this business at all. I hope you enjoy your visit to Minick materials as much as we do.

We have used Artistic Granite several times in the past for our residential properties that we…read moremanage. The last couple of times we have called them, they have been slow to respond & the point of contact has always been a question. We needed to schedule an emergency granite replacement a few weeks ago, as the tenant cannot use their sink until the granite is replaced due to leaking. We waited on granite samples to be sent over. No one ever did so we requested to text a rep. We went back & forth, picked one & got it scheduled for installation on the 18th. When trying to call & confirm through their main number, we often had trouble getting an answer; no doubt due to being a smaller company. We texted the other number to confirm they were coming yesterday & no one came or replied. Once again, I called the main number today. A woman answered & I let her know that no one had responded or showed up for our scheduled appointment. She became hostile & elevated her voice stating that the number we had been communicating with was no longer valid & said "How am I supposed to know what you scheduled if you are calling a number that is not valid anymore?" I told her we had just communicated a few days ago & that I had no idea it was not valid. All I knew is that no one came & we needed to know how soon we could expect someone to come for the repair. She once again started yelling over me, would not confirm when they would come back & hung up on me. Nothing I said warranted her hanging up & escalating the call the way she did. I called her two more times to attempt to get answers & told her I was appalled at how she was handling this. I asked her if there was anyone else I could speak with, she yelled "NOPE I'M IT!" & hung up on me both times. Our tenant has now gone weeks without a bathroom sink. I have to totally start over with a new granite company for this repair & inconvenience my tenant. I have worked with multiple vendors for 23 years & have NEVER had a vendor be this disrespectful & refuse to reschedule a missed appointment. She showed NO professionalism; not even close to an apologetic that nobody showed up. We are a respectable company, have always paid on time & are totally shocked at how we were treated.
