"Joe" the owner of Legendary Designs Fabrication communicated promptly and we set up a date and time to inspect my gate. Joe arrived and was very professional and personable. I stayed in touch with him via E. Mails and he adjusted his schedule to accommodate me. Joe arrived on Saturday morning prepared to complete the repair. He had the equipment needed as well as the repair parts. Joe repaired the gate and adjusted the latch and my gagte now swings shut with no effort at all. I'm happy with the repair and would recommend this company to anyone in need of welding services. Joe does all types of welding on various metals.

Came to Vic's to get my jeep Xj subframe welded. Welding was needed where steering box mounts to…read moresubframe 4x4 in area. was told a custom plate would be welded and crack that wrapped to inside of subframe would be welded also. I was quoted 600$ for 4 hours. Next day I came in to check it out and seen the inside crack being ignored, basically a plate just covered the damage instead of being fixed then reinforced. Vic then told me they will make sure full crack is welded and not to worry. I then wait for a call and received news so bad I had to call police. I arrived to shop where I was told I am to pay 2000$. I was completely shocked as no written agreement was signed only to go by his word. Police arrived as Vic has no communication skills, laughed in my face, kicked me out of shop. I then wait for 4 police cars to arrive. The police were able to talk to him and he told me either pay or he will cut off all his work. I said ok cut it off let me have my truck and we split ways. He then backed off his word and demanded I pay the original 600$. I then told him ok whatever. I wanted him to cut it off to show I don't respect them at all so they can use that as a ornament in his office. Let me tell you seeing him changing the work order price from 2000$ to original 600$ was so satisfying as he believed he could get over on me. Lastly I spoke with my school UNIVERSAL TECHNICAL INSTITUTE and they told me they were not appreciative of that and they were going to take the matter seriously as he has contracts to build trainers for the school. Learning lesson is do not trust no one. Get written receipts for all things and don't trust them. Last thing to mention is I went to high school with his son, me and Vic are both prior military and we are both latinos. If you treat your own people like this how do you treat your other customers.

He had one of his talented workers look at it and explained what needed to be done to fix it. The worker bent the lever one time and it wasn't right the first time. He asked me to test fit it and on the second try they nailed it. He even spray painted it after. To take the time with a walk in customer, then also redo it again was unheard of in today's world. They replaced them, and at first, it seemed like everything was fixed. Unfortunately, the fix only lasted one use before the system went right back to not working. After waiting three weeks just to get into the shop, it's really frustrating to be back at square one so quickly. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, straightforward, and didn't try to upsell us on things we didn't need. Once our RV was in the shop, the turnaround was quick. But at the end of the day, what matters most is whether the repair holds, and in our case, it didn't. Bottom line: nice people, but our repair failed immediately, and that's not what you hope for when you trust a shop with your RV.
