Do NOT use this company. Poor service. Manager does not listen to customer request. Suppose to provide 2 Servers to serve appetizers at garden wedding. The server refused to serve the appetizers as requested. The manager forgot that was what the client requested. Bar tender broke a glass while cleaning up and twist refused to own up to it. One of the servers came late and left early. Company charges a tip of 25.00 per hour for each server. Outrageous pricing and company does not stand behind the motto "the customer is always right". If you choose to use this catering service after the review, you deserve to have a horrible experience. Fantastic! We had Twist at our wedding, and both the drinks and service were fantastic. All of our guests raved about how good the drinks were, and Twist kept them coming! Twist was hired for a company 20th anniversary party this past Friday at Hollinshead Barn. They were great to coordinate with and everything went absolutely perfect at the event. Outrageous pricing for mediocre service, and absolutely terrible customer service. Allow me to explain: When planning a wedding, we all know the prices are insane for just about everything. Hiring Twist was forced on us from the Venue who would only allow us to use one of a few company's. Roughly $900 to set up a little bar and pour beer for a few hours! Of course, I swallowed my pride and agreed. It was Venue policy that we would have Bar tenders during the event, but after 10:00 p.m. the alcohol would be back in our hands to use as we pleased. We called Twist before the event to confirm this and ask if we should just provide our own taps for the kegs so we wouldn't have any issues at the end of the night. We were told not to worry about it and that they would provide the taps. Well, the wedding went great, the bartenders were good, not great, but good. I have no problem giving twist credit where credit is due. However, when I went to grab the kegs after 10 to take them up to the cabins where we were having our after party: THE TAPS HAD BEEN PULLED!! We had half a keg of Black Butte Porter in one, and about a quarter of Mirror pond in the other: now un-pourable, useless and ruined!! When I received my statement from Twist, I wrote a VERY nice email explaining the situation and asking for a fair discount for the mistake. Both my wife and I have been in customer service for years so we understand the importance of making things right for our customers. I received a cold response saying that they absolutely would NOT offer any kind of discount for the mistake and tried to deny ANY responsibility. I would have been happy for $20 off! The fact that they would not even offer a penny just blows our mind. This company charges insane prices and has no desire to provide quality customer service. I would never recommend them to anyone holding an event unless your pockets are deep and you are ok with unethical, terrible customer service. read more
