Jennifer, both of whom I spoke to on the phone (1 inquiry, 1 appointment scheduling) were very polite and upbeat. Skipper is the definition of a shade-tree window tinter. Not a fancy or corporate situation at all. However, we are very pleased with our results on a new-ish Honda Civic. I understand that he uses only ceramic and chose the moderate (not drug-dealer black "illegal") tint. He was about average/midrange prices I was quoted calling around. Just got a good vibe off them so they're who I chose. Again, I'm not knowledgeable here, but the tint looks great. No imperfections and a huge difference in the heat and UV coming into the car. Was riding with my husband the other day and my leg was getting hit with sun from the side tinted window and from the un-tinted front window. Put my hand on my leg and could physically feel the difference in warmth. That can't help but mean the tint is doing its job. I had to wait a while even though I was the only customer at the time. From what I could see , it was because he was taking the time to do it right. Plan on having someone go with you - there is no indoor waiting area and no a/c but a shaded picnic table. Went to lunch with husband and ran a couple of errands. Maybe 2-2.5 hours. When, like an idiot, I hadn't noticed the "cash only" signs, I had to take my car and run to the atm. I offered to let them hold a credit card until I returned with cash and he said, "I trust ya". Before I finally left, he had noticed a spot he didn't like and fixed it. Maybe twice he did this. Perfectionist. Loved it. A few years back I had another car tinted at another (I think no longer in business place) and it was with the cheaper film tint. Crappy job from the start with an apprentice guy that the owner kept fussing at for doing a crappy job, crappy wear and tear on tint with lots of dings and scratches from moderate use. Faster and had a smokey waiting room with a/c. No comparison between that and this! So, to sum it up...not fast nor fancy, but great work. I've no doubt that if I had a problem, he'd sort it out for me. Give him a try!
