A rushed job he did by he i mean the owner told me it was gonna take 45 minutes within 10 minutes or so after taking my truck he was pulling up and telling me he's done was a bad job now im out the money I paid him the money for the wrap he did on my window now I have to buy another one and find someone to redo it read more

Looked at a lot of reviews prior to selecting Gulf Coast. Matthew was very knowledgeable and provided great advice on which direction to go on the window tint. I waited about 2 hours and was very happy with the initial result. I'll repost in 6 months but with regards to the installation - could not tell the difference between what he installed (windshield and 2 front windows) vs what was factory installed by Volvo on the rear and back windows. Early review - I would absolutely recommend these guys as they provided a great experience and now time will tell the rest. read more

My husband and I took our brand new Denali Yukon to Gulf Coast Tint and talked with Matt, immediately upon walking in he was confused at the questions we had. My husband was trying to explain the current tint on my old vehicle and how we would like to do something similar. He kept getting confused and irritated with us about what we were asking with the occasional interruption. We finally decided on a shade of tint and plan and he originally quoted us a price of $400 and upon picking up the vehicle, that price increased to $550 without letting us know until check out. It was pouring rain when we went to pick up the vehicle from being finished so we did not get a chance to look it over until we got home in our garage. Upon looking the vehicle over there were multiple bubbles throughout the tent and star shaped crack in our brand new windshield that looked like something had been dropped on it, right underneath my rearview mirror. Again we had only driven the vehicle home from the dealership, then to Gulf Coast Tint. My husband immediately called Matt and he said "Oh I forgot to tell you, I saw that crack when I started to tint and made a note of it. It was there when you brought the vehicle in." IF this was the case why were me and my husband not notified that there was a 1in size crack in the middle of my front of my brand new windshield which was NOT there before, or why did he continue tinting a cracked windshield? Why did he not mention it upon picking up the vehicle? He then proceeded to cuss at and argue with my husband over the phone and stated we were calling him a liar. Upon ending the conversation, Matt told us he "would take care of the windshield, even though it wasn't his fault to make sure we upkeep our vehicle (again brand new, just drove it off the lot on Wednesday)." He then said he only was going to do fix it so we wouldn't write bad reviews about him. Matt then texted my husband apologizing and sent us the information of a glass repair company in Mobile stating he would "take care of the windshield for us" again. The next morning he "changed his mind." He went back on his word and started saying again it wasn't his fault we didn't take care or upkeep our vehicle, and he shouldn't have to pay for a new windshield on my brand new vehicle. We then requested at least a refund for such a terrible job, and horrific service. Which Matt also denied. DO NOT take your vehicle here. We have never been treated this rudely by a business before and we are business owners ourselves. IF you give someone your word to make something right, you should keep it. read more

Will definitely do business here again! Matthew was easy to talk to and thoroughly explained my tints options. I went with the ceramic. I hung out for a short while waiting for my wife to pick me up as Matthew started on the car. I had already decided to leave the car overnight because the best I could do was drop it off right after work. When I picked it up the next day I couldn't have been happier with the work done. I was appalled by the unprofessional treatment I received when I took my car to Gulf Coast Tinting on 4/3/2018! I had spoken with Matthew several times about removing and replacing the tint from a vehicle that I had purchased and was in the process of restoring. Immediately upon meeting me, he said I had brought him a mess! I asked him what did he mean, and he replied that I had allowed the tint to sit on the car for years and now I was bringing it to him to deal with it. I told him I had just purchased the car, and he replied...that's what they all say when they bring something like this here! I felt insulted...I didn't have to lie about something so unimportant, but I was being accused of lying! Matthew went on to say it would take his guy hours to remove the tint from the rear window, they would have to remove the back seat, and deck, and he could guarantee that the rear defroster would no longer work! He also said he would have to charge me $100 more than the already extravagant price he quoted me. Finally, he had the nerve to say that he really didn't want to do the work anyway! I really would have felt better if he had said that from the beginning! As a business owner, I would never treat someone who has come to patronize my business this way. I felt totally disrespected and I definitely would NOT recommend this business to anyone! I took my car to ACCESS the same day, and they did the work at a reasonable rate and within a timely manner! By the way...they did not have to remove anything, but the tint and my rear defroster still works!! read more

Called for a price and was Very Expensive. Also told me he would not tint my car unless it was left overnight. I have never had to leave any of my cars overnight for a tint job regardless of how many years experience anyone has!!!! I don't think so.. read more

The long and short of it is Matt and his crew did an AWESOME job applying paint protection on my wife's Acura. The pictures on his Facebook Page don't do his work justice because they don't begin to show how detailed he was around the curves on the car. Matt takes great pride in his work and refuses to do less than the best. Talk about setting the bar high! I can't imagine going anywhere else now that I have met Matt and seen his work.
