Meanwhile, they charging $850 for the tow with $50 a day storage fee. Were not friendly or helpful. Down right rude and uncaring. I am writing to formally report a deeply disturbing and dangerous incident involving the individual…read morepictured below, who appears to be operating a tow truck on behalf of your company. Without any provocation, this individual verbally assaulted me and then attempted to ram my vehicle. The situation escalated further when he deliberately positioned his tow truck in front of my car, using it to intimidate and threaten me. He proceeded to move the tow platform toward my vehicle in a manner that strongly suggested an intent to strike it. The entire encounter was alarming and left me shaken. At no point was his behavior justified or appropriate. I remain uncertain as to his exact intentions, whether he intended to damage my vehicle, force entry, or otherwise harm me, but his actions were aggressive, erratic, and posed a clear safety risk. This incident occurred in the CVS parking lot located at 375 Queen Anne Road in Teaneck. Conduct of this nature is completely unacceptable, particularly from someone entrusted with operating a large commercial vehicle on public streets. I urge you to take this matter seriously and investigate it promptly. No one should have to experience this level of intimidation or danger.

I had scheduled an appointment with another mobile mechanic service provider who did not show or respond to any messages. In a panic (because my car was completely dead and parked in front of a fire hydrant!), I Google searched while sitting in my car and contacted Neighborhood Roadside Assistance. The dispatcher there consulted with her team and said they could have someone out within the hour. About 10 minutes later, I received a call from their mechanic, Mitch, who said he was coming from New Jersey and should be there in 35-40 minutes. Once Mitch arrived, he saw that one of my battery terminals was badly corroded and asked if I knew of a parts store nearby. I did not, so he Googled some locations and we drove around to two different shops trying to get a replacement part! Unfortunately we could not find the right part locally, so he replaced the battery with the existing part but offered to pick one up in New Jersey and come back to replace it! Could not have asked for better service, especially in NYC. Neighborhood Roadside Assistance will be my go-to for any future needs.

He was professional the whole time, arrived on schedule, was easy to talk to, and clearly knew his job. His truck was clean and the equipment looked well-kept, which was important to me since my bike was already damaged and I wanted it handled with care. He loaded it up gently and delivered it without any new scratches. This was honestly one of the best service experiences I've had in a long time. Damon was friendly and polite, and it didn't just feel like a business deal. It felt like he really cared about doing a good job. I've already saved his number in my phone for the future, though I hope I won't need it. If you need a reliable motorcycle tow in NYC, I recommend Damon.
