I went in to get my acrylic nails removed. the lady who removed them took a plastic acrylic tip and pried it in between the glue and my nail bed, tearing off parts of my nail leaving holes where my skin is currently exposed. It was extremely painful and i was left with not only holes but many dents and cuts. I was very disappointed in the practices used at this nail salon, they did not soak them at all, just ripped them off. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Nicest staff, super clean and beautiful inside. I didn't feel rushed at all, which is important to me because my nails typically take an hour or so when I need a UV gel fill, and other nail places I've been to make me feel like an inconvenience when I come in. They have a huuuuge selection of gel colors to choose from. Best of all, these are the most affordable prices I've seen in the area. So happy I noticed this place when driving by on my way to another salon where I would've spent a lot more. My nails look amazing. I definitely will be back soon :) read more

Worst fill of my life. They were rushing, two different people worked on them. Some are thinner toward the cuticle and thick at top. I did a gel polish with a best beauty glitter coat. The clear coat on top was too thin and had holes in it over the glitter they used. They started chipping after two days. I was charged extra for the glitter because it counted as a design. Not my first bad experience here, but will definitely be my last. Will not be giving a 4th chance to this place. read more

I walked in...the lady told me come back at 11am, I said sure! I get there at 11am...and end up sitting there waiting for a half hour before someone got to me. I just wanted a plain, ol manicure. No gel, no crazy stuff. A boring ass manicure. By the time I was painted...and she had to redue my middle finger because she messed it up accidentally...and ended up making it look bad nonetheless, I walked out of there at noon. An hour for a manicure? Please learn how to time manage your salon. I would've came in at 11:30 or later as not to sit there and twiddle my thumbs. I keep coming back to this place, since its so close, but it just doesn't live up to any expectations. My nail place is in Nails and Beyond in Bethel...if it wasn't so far I would go there in a heartbeat. Only positive...the owner is very friendly and welcoming...just needs to figure some things out. An older lady who had an appointment for a pedicure didn't get started until 11 and she said she was here at 10:30. Figure it out before you lose these nice Prospect people. read more

I have been going to Vi for a few years now. She was at another location but now has taken ownership at Twin Nails. Of course, I followed her here. The quality of her work is second to none. Most often I am able to go 3-4 weeks without a break or chip (yes I need a fill but sometimes I am too busy). She is as fast an efficient as it gets. I went to this shop to get a pedicure and it was nice, I had never been here before. I was a little apprehensive about trying something new but I did. The service was nice, but what happened later was so much better. I left my iPad when I got up to leave, I have a little bit of a,drive when I got almost home I noticed that I didn't have my iPad and I called back and they said that they found it. I said that I would pick it up after work the next day,which I did. I was really graitful that they were honest and returned my item. I will continue to come here when I am in the area. I saw this business after looking around on Yelp for another nail salon. I have one that I go to all the time, but they are kind of boring with what they offer. I saw this particular business offered way more polishes and designs so I figured I would give it a try. I met one of my friends here around 5:15-5:20 on a Tuesday afternoon. I asked the lady if she had enough time to take us and she said "yes" then immediately asked me "where is your friend". I told her she was on her way and she asked me to pick a color. Not even 15 seconds later shes hovering over me asking me if I chose a color yet. First off, it made me super uncomfortable because I felt like I had to choose my color right then and there, and I felt super rushed. My friend got there and we were sitting looking at different colors, still with the lady asking if we had chosen colors yet. I hurried and chose one and she had me come sit down. This lady did my nails in about 20 minutes. I felt so rushed and it wasn't very relaxing at all. She was pulling my hands in every direction and it was SO uncomfortable. At one point I felt like saying something, but figured it wasn't worth it. She also did my friends nails in about the same time. Honestly, they close at 7 so I get it, but if you didn't have adequate time to take the time needed to do it, you could have told us and we would have went somewhere else. Also, after looking at my nails outside, they are all bumpy and not even at all. She also didn't paint my nail beds all the way so there are spaces where the polish should be. They were cheaper than my other salon, but I'm not sure I would go back. I didn't feel like a "true" customer, and didn't feel like she actually cared about doing a great job. She wasn't that friendly and seemed like she was more worried about leaving work as fast as she could. read more

This used to be my spot when Kyle & Lisa owned it. It then changed hands (they didn't even tell their customers, but one doesn't go on vacation for months and months ) which is upsetting. Anyway...V runs now owns it and she is an amazing nail technician However, she is the ONLY one who knows how to do nails. All the others are learning and it's painful. Literally. V overbooks herself by taking walk-ins when it's YOUR scheduled time. You wait and wait even when you have an appt especially on the weekends. My friends no longer go there much like myself, but just recently a newer technician injured my friends cuticle and it began to bleed. She began to attempt to polish the nail as it was still bleeding. My friend is in the medical field and told V This. She also said that they used the polish and that the polish needs to be discarded as she was attempting to polish a nail with fresh blood on it. Long story short, the polish was not discarded, but placed back on the polish wall. That was all I needed to hear. No more twin nails for me. I'm really bothered by this, because I liked this salon. It is most definitely not as clean as Lisa & Kyle kept it but the way she handled this last situation is disturbing and potentially a health hazard. If I could give below a 1 I would. Went in for a gel manicure. Left wanting to cry. I always try to give nail places more than 1 chance and the first time I came here my nails came out terrible but I thought maybe it was just a bad day for the woman. Welp, I was wrong. The lady doing my nails ignored me every time I asked her to fix my nails. She left them bubbly and painted more of my skin than my actual nails. They are terrible there. I asked for a design and when she did it and I didn't like it, I asked her to simply remove it and leave the base color. She barely took off the white on the nail and tried just painting over it. I had to tell her to remove ALL the white before she put another coat of red on. I spoke the manager and she was extremely rude. Telling me she would give me $5 off and if that didn't make me happy I would have to pay the full price. They are the fucking worst and I will NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN. read more
