Steven Cowles is an awesome, personable realtor who has a range of investment knowledge. Erica Brittin is highly communicative and detail oriented. We bought an investment property in Springfield, from out of state, with very little stress and zero issues. The long story: We have purchased 3 different homes with 3 different realtors. This purchase was an investment property and we live out of state. I've been impressed with the experience that my wife and I had with the Killebrew Team. Dan Fitzgerald is a standout professional. He pulled the classic "underpromise and overdeliver" moves. Being out of state and very new to the real estate investment game, I initially felt out of my depth. Dan cured all of that during our first phone conversation, with his patience, kindness, and depth of real estate and investment knowledge. He made me feel at ease and left me feeling confident. I expressed my goals and needs and he took them seriously and delivered! In the end, we made a purchase in early January and are certain that with Dan's help, we made the best decision for our goals. Dan works with a great team and it shows. We worked closely with Steven Cowles, who is a realtor with Killebrew. Erica Britton, is a realty associate took care of the majority of logistical paperwork and made certain that we knew what to expect every step of the way. Both were a huge help in the quick, and smooth process of making our property purchase. Clearly, I can't say enough good things about Dan and the Killebrew team!

    My wife and I submitted an application a few days ago to rent a unit in Waverly, IL. for 748.00…read more Tax info and paycheck stubs were sent as well equalling over 101,000 a year. We were denied. We were denied because Sam thinks he is a credit expert. I am 45 and up until a year ago when some issues that were out of my control came up, I had almost perfect credit for years. The reason for these issues is actually an ongoing court case and it will be resolved. HOWEVER, when I explained this to Sam, he would not hear ANY of it and I was then treated like a piece of trash. I'm actually grateful though for being denied, 1. What the previous gentleman who left a review as a renter and refers to them as "slum lords". 2. Im very happy for Sam that he has had absolutely nothing Crazy and Out of his Control happen in his life!! I wish everyone else in the world could experience that! Absolute joke of a property owner and VERY judgmental.

Their office is like an only mop closet with broken down desks piled in papers, construction tools everywhere, and computers that barely work. 2. They are shady. Really nice people to talk to but you will soon find out that the employees are in and out of jail constantly, the mother is nice, the son is nice but so overworked trying to manage all his jailbird goons, and Veronica (the office clerk) is frustrated to the point of quitting at all times because of the pit she has to work in and the incredible size of her workload. The father that also owns Sams Best Brands Furniture in Springfield is a liar who states that he will work with you then goes and burns you after the fact. He has been the biggest douchebag of all. 3. Rental responsibilities are not met by this fly by night company. Their renters complain of repairs never happening (toilets broken, drain spouts falling off after wind storms, dryer vents clogged, etc, etc, etc). When the renters finally give up on their lack of maintenance, they fix the problems themselves and submit receipts to the management office to never be heard from or about again. 4. Promises, promises, promises...... no action. We will NEVER raise the rent on you and we will come in and finish your basement to help you out. .....6 months later. We are going to just not finish what we started (yeah, they started the project and left the basement under construction) until you agree to pay more for rent since you will have another bedroom if we finish the basement. Dirty. I was originally optimistic thinking, hey, these are nice people. Maybe we have just had some misunderstandings with them. Yeah, until I talk to other renters and find out that this company just plain sucks. People, Conner / Mariconi Properties are shady and not trust worthy. Not to mention the stuff that was STOLEN from me when they helped us move. (One of the downfalls of hiring criminals to do your maintenance and help.) Avoid them, do not trust them. They suck. They are horrid.

    If I could, I wouldn't even give these guys a half a star. The only reason they would get half a…read morestar is because they tend to work with you when it comes to paying rent late, but other than that, they are nothing more than slumlords. I currently live in Salmon Crt, off S Douglas. This area consistently looks like a storm had just hit it, or like there was some kind of riot that had just taken place because it just looks ridiculously bad and not well maintained. None of the street lights work, and apparently nobody has cared to fix this in over a decade, the maintenance guys rarely finish a job they start. So far, since I moved here about 6 months ago, they have yet to fix my AC, so I've been without AC for most of my stay here.. They took almost 4 months to replace my sink because it would only ever dribble due to little to no pressure and they have YET to take care of our little roach infestation problem, after I have called them 3 times about it since the day after I started living here. Hell, the reason I'm writing this damn review right now is because I just woke up to another roach crawling up my arm while I was sleeping!!! I am SICK of this shit! I am extremely amazed that they don't have some sort of lawsuit against them by now. Due to my income status, I am unable to leave, but had I not been in the situation I'm in, I would break my lease agreement in zero seconds flat. I have never hated a home quite so much as I do this one.
