Out there for spring training and so take my less than excellent but accurate review. We had a great server: Jemma, but she was the highlight. Cant say good food was expected, but they fell short of reasonable expectations. They offered free beers for people who attended a spring training game, we had to get a manager approval and he was less than pleased to approve it. Asked for car bombs as the beginning of their St. Paddy's day promos and they didn't have Guinness. Top that off they tried to charge us for the "free beers" and car bomb we didn't consume. Oh...and the moment that elicited this review was when the bartender informed us that they didn't have Guinness, her response was "maybe I don't need any" ... someone needs to get John Taffer in here for a rescue. read more

Looking for a new place for lunch as we head home from a weekend at Disney. Seen one of these down in Sarasota so though we would stop in to this one and see what is all about. Huge place and well themed. Lots of different options for seating. Once seated we looked over the menu. Lots to choose from. started with fried pickles. Loved the lite breading and good pickle flavors. So many times, lately the pickles are so thin you taste only breading. I then grabbed a burger. Very good and lots of flavor. One of the better I have had in a while. Service was good although it took a bit to get our mains, but we were not in a hurry. Overall a a solid stop for lunch with good prices. read more

To whom it may concern, Emily the bartender was awesome! The rest of my experience there was terrible!! My New York trip was overcooked. The only reason I came in was to watch the Preakness. Before the horses reached the first turn the channel on the TV that we were all watching, was changed. When we looked over there were two men standing there playing with the remotes. I later found out that the big fat one was a vice president of the company. When we tried to get him to turn it back to the horse race he just looked at us like a bunch of fools! We had seen ads and expected the lumberjack breastraunt theme but were quite surprised to be greater by a gal wearing nothing but a bra, panties with half of her ass cheeks hanging out, a garter and fishnet stockings. Um, ok. We were seated at a table and our server (wearing the flannel lumberjack outfit) took our drink and food orders. There weren't any paper menus so we were directed to snap the QR code on the table for a digital one. That's fine, it keeps printing costs down. The air conditioning was blowing quite cold so my wife ran out to the car to get her jacket. We sat at the corner of the table - not across from each other - and the music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other without yelling. We did see the manager stop by several tables to check on things but he didn't come by to see us. My wife had a half rack of ribs with grilled asparagus. I had the spicy parmagean meatball sub with seasoned fries. I expected 8 meatballs on the sub but it was 4 meatballs cut in half. Not a deal breaker but wasn't what I was expecting dorm the picture in the menu. Both of our meals were hot and tasty but the overall vibe in the place was odd. Imagine a Canadian cabin theme with lumberjack and burlesque girls serving groups of guys, families with toddlers in high chairs and elderly geriatrics with walkers (yes, we saw all of these dining). Overall the food was pretty good but I'm not sure if it was good enough to outweigh being served by girls wearing nothing but their underwear and a smile. Came in for dinner on a Wednesday night as we had never been to this location previously. We sat at the bar to be able to get our drinks a bit quicker and share some apps. After waiting 10 minutes or so, we were finally greeted and put in our drink order. 20 minutes later we received our drink order we had placed. Drinks were good and no complaints there. We also ordered the mozz bites, & the jalapeño popper flatbread. The mozz bites were overcooked & stuck together. Flatbread was undercooked & not crispy at all. Hoping that this was a one off type of situation and the wings would be more promising. Wings we tried were classic buffalo breaded and Spicy Cajun rub -naked Breaded buffalo weren't wet and had to wait 10 minutes after I asked for more buffalo sauce. Since the Cajun dry rub was non existent ...tossed those in the little sauce cup of buffalo I received as well. Would go back to this place for drinks but hard pass on the food after spending over $100 and leaving unsatisfied. Hope this place can turn it around, plan to try again in 6-8 months. read more

Ohhhhhhh Twin Peaks! How I used to be so obsessed with your coldest beers, but sadly you've gone downhill. I was so excited when this opened up in Lakeland, but I was preggo so I didn't temp myself by going. FINALLY was able to give it a try and it just didn't hit like previous years (other locations and have since gone downhill). No real food specials, girls were kind rude... but our server was amazing and my nachos were delish! This location has gotten some baddddddddddddddddd reviews for their food but mine was good. Hubby's wings were "just ok." Def too pricey for what you get, but the ranch was still delish! Let's be real for a minute. An establishment like this is not for everyone, and YES, it is a chain restaurant! lol. However, I can tell you the servers here work hard and really wants to be attentive. The difficulty I see here noise and chaos. There are 2 bars in one giant area and there are multiple games or sparing matches happening simultaneously on maybe 25-30 TVs overhead with volume on high. People cheer, sometimes they jeer, and things can get lost in the madness. But I watch the crew here and I can see them working hard to hear me past the noise and always with a smile. I always feel welcome and I don't mind one bit that it is a chain restaurant or their attire, their website and all advertising shows you exactly what the women will be wearing and what you will be served. I come in to have fun and eat really good food. My recommendation for a dish.... Definitely "Moms pot roast" and the fish and chips. Also check the QR code for menu to see what liquors/cocktails/beers are leaving bar at major discount! I have been enjoying Howler Head shots for $2.99 for quite sometime now. My wife and I went to dinner here tonight for the first time in a long time. Our experience was great!! We had Sophia as our sever and she was fantastic. She always had a refill on the table when the drinks were low (we never had to ask). Sophia checked on us multiple times throughout our apps and meal which was awesome to see great service. As a fairly new establishment there can be expected some negatives to go with the positives. I'll start with the negatives. First, they didn't have enough handout menus to give us one, instead the said to scan the code on the table for a menu. While this works it's a pain in the ass to navigate the menu on a phone especially when only we have only one phone between the two of us. This is an easy fix for management....have enough menus on hand so every table and guest can have one if requested. Second, have salt and pepper on the tables. Third, service was a tad slow but should get better as the staff get more comfortable, for example we watched as a waiter went to three different table trying to find out who the order he was carrying belonged to, he eventually went back to the kitchen where the original waitress came out to the correct able with the order. Fourth, fries were not hot at all. Maybe it was the time of the ay we went(noon" and they pre-fried a bunch of fries and let them sit under a warming lamp, whatever the reason they were barely room temperature. Fifth, my meatball sandwich was lacking enough mozzarella and marinara sauce, I'm glad I had the foresight to ask for extra marinara source on the side. The meatballs are on the small to very small side compared to other places in town that offer meatball subs. Now the good... First, my meatball sub (given the negatives) had a good flavor and was served up hot. It's a decent sized sandwich Second, the lobster BLT was a hit. Lots of good chunks of lobster and other ingredients as you can see by the photo. And yes underneath the pile are some butter toasted King's Hawaiian Rolls. There's enough variety on the menu that we will return to try out a few more things. read more

Forgot to check on status of dining experience while managers were walking around and not even doing table greets to check on customers. Servers wearing outfits that looked like thongs almost all the way up the rear end and yet children present dining. This is an alternative to Hooters operation. Prices off the charts. Just because the menu says spicy doesn't tell people everything on the menu has jalapenos in it according to the manager. We ordered the mini tacos which says spicy ground beef. Not jalapeno meat. My husband got his down sweating. I couldn't eat them. I got half of one down and the waitress went and got the manager who informed us everything has jalapenos in it. It's not on the menu so be warned now. The waitress was amazing, that's the only thing good that I can put! She even tried to tell us since I couldn't eat the food and the manager left it on the bill (which she asked him to take it off and he wouldn't) but she said don't leave her a tip because of it.
