I told Johnnie what I…read morewas after, and he pointed me toward another cognac that had better quality and a smoother taste for a lower price. Alotlower. My sister asked for the money back, told the clerk she would not be disrespected and we left. Good customer service and courtesy is all most are looking for when dealing with outside services. I was visiting from California and will never set foot in this store again. We went to Shadow Wood Liquor and had a great experience, plus what we bought was cheaper. The behavior of the employee at Pearland Liquor will probably not change but the buying public needs to know what could happen if they elect to buy from there.

This location is NEW to Pearland. I was at Kroger and noticed the sign and was like, "Whoa! When…read moredid we get a Spec's?" A few days later, my husband and I stopped in to check it out. First off, we were warmly greeted by numerous employees. As we browsed the aisles, we commented on how CLEAN and organized the store is. This Spec's has a good variety of liquor, a decent selection of wine and just an ok selection of beer. My husband doesn't drink alcohol and we didn't see ANY NA beer. For this aspect, we thought that Total Wine had a huge advantage over Spec's. Total wine is a larger store which allows for more options. As for prices, I think they're pretty normal. They also give a 5% discount if you pay in cash. Overall, I think I would stop back if I needed tequila to make margaritas.

Unfortunately there are not that many liquor stores in this area so when Shadow Creek liquor…read morerecently followed me on Instagram I decided to stop in on a Saturday to pick up a few quick items. It was my first time here, when I walked in there was not anyone at the front register. I kinda roamed a little bit looking for what I needed because the aisles are not labeled. The store is rather small and cramped, but you can find what you need with a little extra effort. I won't say that the prices are the best, but they are comparable to the nearest liquor store in the area. What I originally wanted was the Cruzan Coconut rum but they did not have the large bottle which was a disappointment. I also observed that the pricing on the shelves is inconsistent and nonexistent in some areas so you really don't know the price unless you ask the clerk. I'm a Specs shopper primarily so I am probably spoiled by the services that Specs offers. However if you live in this area and you need a quick spirit or two, Shadow Creek liquor is definitely a viable option.
