She was very rude to us. Horrible customer service and just finding an excuse to get us in trouble.

One incident a worker dropping off delivery was upset at where a customer parked and began cussing out the customer and wanted him to go outside to fight... Other times the cashiers and workers had no qualms about their unprofessional behavior with yelling vulgar obscenities at each other across the store and in front of customers. Since this has happened on multiple occasions I can only discern that this is a systematic problem at this business. I've much rather go to any other establishment that doesn't subject its customers to such trashy behavior.

She was a different nationality with an accent. I don't believe she took my constructive criticism well.. It was an alcoholic product that went by the name of V something. She had a red bottle of it and a purple. We both got a shot of the red V- and it was nasty! To me, it tasted like cherry cough syrup medicine mixed with too strong of an alcohol plus it was warm not cold. Even though, the sampler had the drinks on ice. It probably was fake ice come think of it. The vibe of the liquor store was dead when we first stepped in with a whole long line from the counter to the back. Then a lady came in waay too throwed and buzzed. She was bubbly, all smiles speaking to everybody. Looks as if she had be drinking all day. She even spoke to the elderly man buying vodka for a bunch party goers. Real cool! The cashier lady was also very friendly. She is a older mexican woman. She also had switched her mouth to smile mode. She was speaking to everyone who came in and who was in line waiting. The whole atmosphere was laid back. The shelves were nicely stocked with signs of what it was and where it came from. I saw a few sick shaped bottles. I saw one shaped as a skull and AK-47. All of the vodkas are located straight back from the checkout counter-mostly the whole wall. They also have miniature bottles of alcoholic beverages near the cashier. And if you taste test the only way you can get a t-shirt is to buy a bottle. The store front has a weird theme: a Chihuahua in space or "high" with a name of UFO. Makes one wonder.. lol. Might be back since it's right next door to a vape shop.

Pretty awesome liquor store and there's a reason why it has perfect ratings from everybody and they're not even fake. And it's not even because the owner is so spectacularly good looking. But that's fun too. It's because they have cheap prices for a huge selection of good liquor and everybody's obsessed with liquor - so it's always going to have decent ratings regardless. But this is a particularly good store and will at least make you feel like you're an astronaut since you're so close to the real astronauts.

Little did I know I missed the HQ location while I was in Houston, I know now to not miss it again. I drove down some back roads to get here, and found this huge store in a big box shopping center. I was looking at American Vodka and then I turned around to look at the opposite shelf and I almost fainted, this location had my favorite vodka from Russia, Khortyska!! I've been trying to get this sent to me for years. I spent some time in Ukraine before their last revolution back in 2011 and a guy that worked for me told me not to bother with Nemiroff and instead get Khortyska coming from a real bad ass Russian programmer, he was right. This place had all the brands of booze I couldn't find in Louisiana. I got some top shelf Rebecca's Creek, a bottle of Balcones Whiskey from Texas and my bottle of Khortyska. Sadly my wife consumed it thinking I got it for her. Which means only one thing. I'll need to make another road trip to buy some more. The staff here was really helpful, guided me to what I needed and there were some other Whiskey connoisseurs in the isle where I was that we chatted it up for a bit before I had to leave. On my way to the check out I grabbed some of the small single serve bottles to put on my desk at work to remind me where I need to go at my next earliest convenience.

So from that standpoint and expectation, I get the one star. I do. But it's not a terrible liquor store. It doesn't have terrible selection, even if the selection pales vs their MUCH better store down south. They have some interesting stuff. Most prices are okay, BUT some are indeed marked up ridiculously and are totally laughable. But I'm used to seeing that in stores these days, so I tried to rate the store as a stand-alone liquor store, NOT in comparison to the mecca that is their other store. Still, ridiculous mark-up does get at least one star dinged. Service was friendly, FYI. I definitely disagree with Mike J., as I associate NASA greatness and Alex influence with the other store - but maybe this store was great back in 2016. I have no idea. I've known about the other store for years, while I only visited this one recently. It was my first and last visit, and I'll only hit the waaaaay better store to the south when it comes to NASA Liquor. My comments apply to Donna R C's review, too - I'm wondering if this location rocked back in 2016-2017? It does *not* rock now (lol), and they do not have the incredible selection described in 2016-2017. FYI...
