This is a pretty cool liquor store. They make their own drink mix bags with mini bottles. There's a ton of different options and it was really fun to look through them all. They also have fun names. How cool is this concept?! We visited OST LIQUOR as we got word that they have multiple options of packaged specialty cocktails I will call them to make your personal cocktail. They have a variety of tequila, whisky, bourbon, cognac, etc. options to choose from. It appears that most of the traffic that visits the establishment is for the packaged drinks! They also offer two free cups, one with ice and one as a mixer to make the drink. We were fortunate to be assisted by a local who was with our group and assisted with pointing out the freezers and grabbing the free cups. Even though they were closed for business, I am so excited to come back and buy some spirits and wine. Was searching the black owned businesses collection on Yelp and came across OST Liquor Store. Like other reviewers, I didn't expect to make a review for a liquor store.However based on my experience at the establishment why not. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made me be feel very comfortable. They have bags with fruit juices and miniature spirits already packaged to purchased. I got the 3rd Ward Special and the hood Rita. Both were good and had be and my husband on our level, lol. Don' let me forget about the Styrofoam cups, which comes with ice when you purchased. We are from Hawaii and found this place via tiktok. We dont have pre mixers like these back home so i bought a few. I was gonna go back and buy more but sadly sunday was our last full day and i found out you cant buy alcohol from a store on Sundays here. The owner of the store was REALLY nice! I want to commend the OST team members for the Aberfeldy (Scotch) class last Sunday, March 19, 2023. I appreciate the opportunity to learn and explore scotch. Aberfeldy 12 was smooth and tasty. The Pencillin is definitely a future go to and good for cold symptoms. Tried the Aberfeldy 16 and it was a little too strong for me.
