If spirits are your thing, the variety is strong in this regard as well. The cashier service is excellent. My only point to grow on is the specialty collections service they have in the glass enclosed room to the right when you enter. I have gone in there several times only to not be greeted at all by the person working in the area. It makes me not want to spend a little extra for their special wares. And that frankly seems to defeat the point of highlighting them so nicely. But besides this, it is a great store with good service worth many repeat visits!

Unlike a lot of the stores which get Weller, Blanton's, EH Taylor and (ugh) even Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace, they let their customers have an honest chance at obtaining a bottle of the hard to find stuff by doing it the right way ... putting it on the shelf! You never know when it will happen ... but more than a few times I've gone in to find Col. EH Taylor or Weller Reserve on the shelf ... for MSRP! $59 for EH, $35 for Weller SR, $65 for Blantons. Other places jack up the price by 100 - 200% on those types of bottles. Or do silly bullshit like requiring customers to buy a bunch of nasty bottles ... enter a raffle ... or, worse yet, enter an auction. (Julio's) I understand that stores get screwed by the distributors. For every bottle of Blanton's they have to take a case of horseshit that sells slower. And I understand bourbon people can be assholes and flip bottles or drive from store to store buying all the good bottles after getting a delivery tip from a distributor. However, I will ALWAYS shop Gasparo's FIRST knowing there is a possibility I might stumble across a hard to find bottle unannounced on the shelf vs. jumping through crazy hoops. The prices here are good and they have a really nice selection. Not a lot of high end stuff but it is North Attleborough. The prices are decent ... comparable to any other non-chain store. You won't get many deals here but you also won't pay that much over msrp. The beer section is another plus. They have an unbeatable selection of craft beer ... including hard to find releases from Toppling Goliath and others. It is arranged well and easy to browse and the employees in the beer section are helpful. Outside of the beer section, good luck finding someone to help you out in the liquor department. Overall, I travel out of my way to shop here because they are fair and give everyone a shot at drinking the good stuff without silly games. The selection is good and if you are looking for hard to find cordials and cocktail mixers (vermouth) you'll be in luck.

Shopping has become such a burden amidst the pandemic between inflation and traffic in my area…read more I stopped into Seabra (Formally Hi-Lo/Almacs) on a whim and ended up being one of the more enjoyable shopping experiences that I've had in a long time. The store is nestled into the back roads of Attleboro, in a plaza that seems frozen in the 1990s. They have ample parking and the store is also accessible by foot which is a nice feature for local residents. It's not as fancy as other nearby markets but it's clean, well lit, and organized. The prices were comparable to competitors, in fact I ended up saving $30 on the entire shopping trip. This particular location also had a wine & spirits section so you can literally do one stop shopping and avoid multiple trips. Lastly, every employee I encountered was pleasant and prompt. The other customers were also friendly and polite to each other. I'm really glad I stopped in and I'm looking forward to utilizing them more frequently.

Don't go there if you need many items from the middle aisles, as they are normally priced high. Overall, it is a great place to shop once per week to stalk up on meats, bread, milk, deli, and produce as needed. The meat selection is top notch and has many affordable options. I just got some awesome pork that is feeding my family deliciously for $4 right now.
