We had a wonderful time. We stayed 4 nights. It was peaceful and quiet. Lots of campers came and went which was barely noticeable. Despite comments about small tight sites, no one seemed to have difficulty. The interior roads and campsites are lava gravel. All sites are level. We asked for a fire ring which they brought promptly. We bought their firewood because we forgot ours. The ice cream was a nice feature. These are new owners of an original KOA. They have ambitious plans to improve and expand this campground. We stayed in a travel trailer. We hope to visit again someday. read more

I booked a 5 night stay, when I arrived the Owners had just that day begun to perform grounds maintenance, causing a huge mess with dirt and dust. My entire site had the remnants of winter with tree branches, dead leaves, and mud from having no appreciable grass anywhere around my site. The site was significantly off camber so that it was difficult for me to walk around without stumbling (I'm 72). I asked the attendant for another site to which she responded that I could not be accommodated. I departed early and as I was checking out the actual Owner was behind the counter with an inept employee. I told him that I was leaving early because I couldn't endure the site. His response was to curse at me dropping several F bombs, and even a fu old man as I walked out the door. This ends my use of any KOA on the planet. read more

This KOA is conveniently located but sits next to a compost company so smells like cow manure. There are lots of trees but the sits are small and the rvs are packed in like sardines. The roads in the campground are gravel and the sites dusty. They do have a pool, mini golf and other games as well as a camping sink and microwave. They offer an ice cream social nightly, not free ice cream though. It's an ok place to stay but not the nicest KOA. read more

Nicely kept KOA. Lots of activities on the grounds, pools, games, store, etc. Location was close to town and to the Perrine Bridge, but also close to freeway, which is noisy when sleeping. Not a big fan of campsites where you are all parked as close as a parking lot, but there's a lot of those. Overall a nice KOA for what it is, for us just a 2 night visit to ride bikes to Shoshone Falls and that worked out well, except for the rain fall!! read more

This place is just all about money. Came in late Monday night at 11pm. We reserved a small cabin. I let them know we had a truck with a flatbed trailer and was instructed to just park in front of the cabin. When we tried to do that, we were blocking the other cabins driveways and they wouldn't be able to get their cars out. Right across from the cabin were 4 empty campsites so we parked it there. In the AM I had a note saying I owed $96 for that spot. NO ONE WAS THERE. It was past midnight but the time we went to bed. NO ONE WAS THERE.. I even checked the reservation board and no one was booked. It would have sat empty! .The manager was very condescending and kept saying I parked in a premium spot. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS EMPTY! . I was very disappointed in her lack of empathy and frankly common sense. I will be sending an email with all details to the KOA coprorate office. #greed read more

We have stayed at many KOA campgrounds and by far, this was our best experience. From check in to departure, our hosts, Phillip and Liz Mazur and the desk staff member, Nicole LaPlaca were awesome in every way. I witness their interaction with many guests, some all at once, sometimes just 1-2, but always they were friendly, assisting, smiling, guiding, informing those arriving, those already guests from another day and those walking in with questions. Their smiles were genuine. We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The facilities were clean and welcoming. The store supplies were very well stocked with practical and useful items. Kudos to the Hosts and staff. We would stay here again. It is located nicely just 4 miles North of Twin Falls which has a lot to offer visitors. read more

No hot water and they don't seem like they care for the prices they charge. Camp hosts are rude and they want to complain about where some park but are okay with others. They have a death trap of rocks a few inches out of the ground all over the camp site. Could be a great KOA if they tried. 2.7 miles to the north is a much better RV park at better quality and price. read more

As dog owners this has an outstanding dog park, living in NM our dogs seldom see grass. Solar Sensor lights are great for those early morning trips to give the dogs relief. They have an easy check in, even allowing us to come in a little early. Our pull through was nicely shaded & roomy. After set up we were able to drive quickly to Jerome for some great Mexican food. Staff were very friendly, wore mask for our protection, even escorted us to the site offering help if needed. Park was easy access from interstate & far enough away to not be affected by noise. The store had an good assortment of items a RVer may need on the road. Loved the double hook up sewers. Showers/bathrooms were clean & well maintained Over all Park was very clean. We stayed just for a night while traveling- it was a spot. Our camper was so close to another we could see inside theirs- tight spots! Outdated playground and amenities, but nice pool. Cow area, so faint smell of manure everywhere. Very dusty! Staff were nice and helpful. Would I stay longer than a night? Probably not. read more

This review reflects the campground under the new "ownership" The swimming pool & playground were both closed because they were broken with no notice at booking or check in, as has been a regular update when booking with other KOAs if their facilities are broken. This campground is NOT up to the KOA standard and it is mediocre at best. The campsites are not big rig friendly, absolutely nothing is paved, the unmanicured putt putt course is a joke, and the entire park is dust filled. The only good thing about the experience was meeting Eric and from what I understand, he's not even there anymore. Quite honestly, he's the only one who wasn't clearly intoxicated while operating large machinery in close proximity to children. One of the other park employees had an aggressive german shepherd that kept attacking everybody else's dog and he couldnt keep it leashed when it was in the dog park. The whole experience made me very uncomfortable. Would certainly give zero stars if I could. Dont make the same mistake I did, take your children somewhere safer. read more

We have stopped here several times on our way to and from California on our way to summer destinations, and we will continue to do so for our overnight stays en route. This small KOA has extremely clean bathrooms, friendly and helpful staff, is located very conveniently to the highway, yet, it is far enough off the main road that it not too loud while in our travel trailer, but I'll be honest, it's not quiet. The park has a lot of trees, and while some sites are tight, if you get an end site, you have some extra space. The pool looks nice, although, we have never used it. There is a mix of camping cabins, tent site and RV sites. In addition to finding this a reliable place to stop overnight, we also like that Twin Falls is super close, so you can get to Target, Costco, Fred Meyer, Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc to get any items that you might need to restock your RV. We even arrived early enough one time to kayak the snake river in the late afternoon, which was an amazing experience. I definitely recommend this location if it suits your travel needs. read more

We only stayed one night, but all KOA's have increased their prices without improving their properties or Amenities. The spots are close together, but for one night it was tolerable. Their little gift shop was well stocked, but they are making a profit on selling stamps, save yourself some money stop at a post office. It was $3.75 for 5 -$.56 stamps and $5.50 for 3 international stamps which at the post office were $1.65 each read more

Cute,Clean, Quiet and Friendly! Little bit of everything here. Wide variety in types of accommodations to suit your needs. Small cabins, big cabins, tent sites, and various hookup sites depending on what you want to spend. Great for families, adult couples, and traveling tradesperson. Two dog parks, two + play areas, a pool, and plenty of area to walk around. A little creek runs behind it, and if you like cows they're just on the other side of the creek. Store is well stocked, and owners are friendly. Even give you dog treats when you arrive for your furry friends. The clientele seem just as friendly as the staff. More Smiles than not as you walk around, no screaming unattended kids, no overly obnoxious barking dogs or loud party-ers. (So refreshing!) Disclaimer: it's cow country folks, so there's always a possibility of a whiff here or there of fresh cow manure.But i barely noticed it, not overpowering at all. When you are approaching this KOA, it might be confusing at first since there is a secondary road off the highway that runs parallel. It appears that the driveway to the property next to the koa is just that but actually, it is the entrance to the parallel road. If it was clearly marked with a sign pointing toward the koa, it would have been helpful. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the nice people who run the place. Check in was easy and we were personally directed to our site by a man in a golf cart for a super easy start. Then walked around and we tried the multiple dog parks, which our pup loved! The property had many things to do and nice sites. The only other thing we did during our one night stay is shop in the gift shop. They have a nice supply of speciality and gift items in addition to the regular stuff like food and supplies. We also enjoyed the fresh hand dipped ice cream. As a note, this KOA charges extra for kids. Each one was $5. I also noticed many additional options to spend whether it be room service, the ice cream social, or a pancake breakfast. Having just come from another koa in Salt Lake City, I was expecting things like kids and pancakes for free since that's how they did it in Salt Lake. Oh, well!!!! read more

We only stayed for one night in a tent site while visiting Shoshone falls. The campground was easy to find and about a 15 minute drive from the falls. Our tent site was nice, we didn't have any direct neighbors and it included a fire pit and picnic table. All the bathrooms/showers are combined and upfront near the office/store. Bathrooms were nice, however, a little challenging in the morning when there is a line of people waiting to use them, yet they are taking showers - so the wait is extra long. Overall we had a good stay here but I think this would be a 1 night passing through campground has opposed to a long stay. read more

Another well kept and organized KOA. I got escorted to my lot. Not all of their locations do this, but I guess it's necessary given checking in can get pretty backed up at their front office. We were assigned a pull thru at lot 34. It suited our needs. I was looking forward to an evening campfire and then came the high winds out of nowhere. Majority of our time spent on the campground was in the trailer. I believe this the norm among these parts, but unsure if it is seasonal thing. The funny thing was we headed to Twin Falls and it was the complete opposite. That's mother nature for you. I didn't take any photos because it was just too windy. Never leave your awning unattended that's for sure. It's a close distance to Shoshone Falls Park. We found it be a convenient location. The entire staff are on top of things. read more

My family and I added a stay here in Idaho to our family adventure last minute. This KOA is not too far from the city or places to eat but definitely far enough to have a peaceful quiet camping experience. We stayed in the two bedroom cabin, this includes a full size bed in 1 room and two twin size bunk beds. Enough room for 6 people or more. My daughter and I slept on the bottom of one bunk. The cabin was equipped with an AC unit in one room, small fridge and a heater. The campground also offers other lodging options for bigger or smaller groups, tent spots and RV hookup spots. The have a camp kitchen that offers food, camp store, clean showers, clean restrooms, pool, free miniature golf and a playground. The prices in the camp store were very reasonable. This was our 4th KOA this trip and this one ranks high on our list. We will definitely come back and visit! read more

We came with another party. The KOA itself is not as nice as some of the other ones we've been to. Hard to compete with KOAs in more scenic places. My main complaint is they couldn't figure out how to park two RVs close to one another. This place is half empty. This is pretty basic. If two groups show up together, under the same reservation, assume they don't want to be across the park from each other. Dogs across the lot from us were going crazy as well. Understand that we just came from Grand Canyon and Moab, so my perspective may be a bit tainted. Update 5/9 AM. I'm going to amend my review and say this is a nice place. We appreciated the reliable power and water and that we had a safe, quiet place to hang out while we waited for two weeks for our repairs. We originally made our reservation since we are driving through Idaho to Wyoming to see Kayde you sent/moderate RV campground. He came in at night no real issues... our one star rating is due to our reservation for our return trip. Decided I welcome that we want to travel halfway so Falls was not an ideal vacation for the returns please send them an email right before reservation to confirm that we will not be staying with them on our Return trip home! To our surprise we were charged a cancellation fee!!! As everyone knows during these crazy times plans change and the majority of hotels airlines eight significant accommodations do their social policy due to the fact of COVID-19!! So we decided to give them a call and see if we could speak to a human being and ask if they would consider waiving the cancellation fee! So we called: We asked them politely if they received our cancellation? the woman on the phone said yes. We said we realize there is a cancellation fee even though we canceled the reservations five days ago. Her response was it's only $10!!! Obviously it's more about principal than the dollar amount! We would not have taken this much time to write this review if the woman on the phone would've handled the situation differently! but instead she disregarded our request with her rude comment; it's only $10!! If you are staying in an RV it is great. With a tent it is noisy and has the bad view of an industrial business with trucks and machinery. The lights were bright and really hard to sleep with along with the Highway right next door. Although there is a water feature it is an irrigation canal that is not useable for swimming or even dipping your feet in. The tent campsites are crammed with few trees and no privacy. This review was given a second star because they have a small pool that is okay for swimming. There are clean bathrooms and hot water as well. read more

We were not expecting to stay long in Twin Falls, due to RV issues we stayed almost a full week. We are regular RV travelers and have stayed at many RV camps and KOA campgrounds.This KOA was truly an amazing experience. The owners and all staff were spectacular. They accommodated us with the RV issues and we also stayed in one of the cabins (tiny home if you will) while our RV was being repaired. I cannot say enough nice things about our entire experience here. Facility was clean, well managed, staff friendly and always helpful. We would recommend this KOA every day for all travelers! We made reservations along with several others as we were traveling to South Dakota from California. This was a 2 week trip. Unfortunately, I got COVID and we had to cancel our trip. All of the KOA's cancelled and refunded my $ except for the $10 cancellation fee. This one did not. They charged me the whole amount and then sent me a cancellation that stated they refunded me the $ with exception of the $10 cancellation. False! When I called to cancel, I was told, we have a National Policy and you didn't cancel within the timeframe, and they were turning people away (it was for the 4th). The site was up and reserved within 2 hours! Ummm... I got COVID!!! NOT LIKE I KNEW I WAS GOING TO GET IT! I tried Corporate and all they did was take my complaint. Even the government was assisting folks with COVID! All other KOA's were sympathetic and even those that were cancelled prior to the reservations at this KOA. I will never stay at this campground and am considering going to be Good Sam. KOA is a joke! If I could give them no stars, I would! read more

We have stayed at many KOA HOLIDAYS around the west coast so we expected a KOA holiday full of activities for the kids. This KOA needs to be advertised as a JOURNEY KOA. It doesn't have spectacular scenery BuT: It's half way between Boise and Arco..stay with me here..and near Arco you can find the Craters of the Moon National preserve. Also, along your way to and fro - drive through Mountain home to check out the Bruneau Dunes State park and the gorgeous Thousand Springs State park. The drive along the Idaho Scenic Byway along the Snake River Plain Aquifer is stunning. An abundance of natural springs gush from the steep canyon walls and cascade into the river below. We just needed a cheapy spot to stay the night on our travels and that's exactly what this KOA gave us. A little spot to pitch a tent, clean showers and gorgeous weather. read more

We stayed here for five nights and were overall pleased with the campground. We were camping with friends and originally did not book adjoining RV sites that face each other. I called to try and change it but there was no availability. An employee named Oscar said he would keep an eye out for cancellations. Two days later he called me back when someone cancelled!!! Big shoutout to Oscar for remembering me! Thank you!!! That's customer service! Our sites were nice and clean. The dog park area was clean with a good supply of poop bags and places for owners to sit while the dogs played. All of the employees were very nice and the facilities were clean. It was also convenient to stores and sights. I only gave four stars because of the noise from the highway. The campground itself was older but nice. read more
