This is a pretty good comic store, with some well-labeled long boxes. Bagged and boarded of course, the long boxes seem to call to your fingers, begging you to search for that key issue. And I guess that was my main issue, as Twilite Zone Comics seems to specialize in more modern issues. I'm a Gold and Silver Age collector myself, so I didn't really find any thing complete my Fantastic Four Run or flesh out my Golden Age science Fiction collection. Still, they did have a nice selection of variants, and the guys behind the counter were friendly. So on the scale of superhero powers, Twilite Zone is no Superman, but it certainly is a disco loving Dazzler either. read more

Small shop, but a decent selection. Lots of $1 comics, totally disorganized and in boxes on the floor. So have good knees for crouching / kneeling if you want to bin-dive. Also lots of $5 collected edition, both softcover and HCs. read more

One of the best comic book shops I have been to. I'm from California and I stopped by one night to see if I could pick up some new books for my flight back home and I ended up dropping fifty bucks because there were so many issues that were in stock that I had previously missed out on! Selection was so great that I had to come back the next day and pick up some more stuff for my collection. Staff and owner here are amazing. They answered my every questions and were friendly. Great customer service! Wish these guys weren't across the country otherwise it would be my go to shop! The $1 dollar book section is so full of variety ! I was looking for almost half an hour and had to control myself in spending some serious cash. Found most of the Batman Knightfall series which I've been looking for at shops back home and been told "good luck." I know where I'm coming whenever I'm back in town. read more

I was delighted to find this gem of a shop nested in an area which seems like a scene from one of the "books" you will find within this classic styled comic shop. The owner, is a life long fan of comics who can not only tell you what you will enjoy today, but with a few quick questions help to figure out what you had read as youth. I happened to be in the shop when a man walked in with his young son, the owner asked the child who his favorite comic was, the youth proudly said Bateman! He quickly walked over to a box and looked through its content and handed him a book and said here, read this on me. He then went on to help the father find a few things to read and went on from there caring for other customers. The pride that the owner takes in his shop is only surpassed by his desire to help create great memories by all who enter. A great comic book store. Everyone here knows what they are talking about and could talk for hours about comics. The comics are very neatly placed around as well as other things such as posters, collectable statues and some trading cards. Parking is somewhat a pain but not too bad, there is a garage around the corner. Great little store, I will be back. read more

Definitely the best shop in Baltimore/ Annapolis area. Bump and Company always have the best deals, most back issues and best selection of variant covers at the fairest prices. Screw this place. Unfortunately the malodorous smell of piss the minute you walk in wasn't the most offensive thing about this place. I walked in and was browsing the action figures and the door swung open, which prompted the guy behind the counter to ask me to walk all the way across the store and close it. That seemed pretty odd considering I am a customer and not an employee of his but I figured since I was the last one in, I would just do what was right and close it. After I acquiesced to his request and went back to the action figures, he said "you didn't close it all the way". At that point I walked out and left. Sorry, I'm not interested in taking orders from the guy in the store that I'm attempting to shop at. It might behoove you to leave the door open once in awhile to air out that revolting cat piss smell. read more

While the staff was knowledgeable and helpful, the store itself wasn't in as great of shape. The exterior strip mall is run down with only on-street parking nearby. The interior is the slightly dark and dank negative stereotype of comic book stores. read more

Fantastic staff and fair prices. Not biggest store in the area, but certainly the best for older unique books. Also, no boys club here, just a friendly helpful staff that seems to genuinely care about their customers.
