I rented a tent from them and it was soooo dirty, old and filthy. They're excuse is that because I rented it only a few days before the event, that was the only tent they had (some BS excuse). They should've informed me of that so I could've made a decision on whether or not I should rent from them. I also rented tables and chairs along with the tent. When they delivered these, they didn't bother to even set them up. They just left them laying down on the grass. I asked about this as well and was told the labor wasn't included in the cost. Overall, I just didn't like their services and the tent I rented. I wouldn't recommend them.

They had a great opportunity to gain our business interest for future events and rentals, but that changed quickly. In short they were terrible at communication and scheduling. They were scheduled to arrive on a Thursday and had not communicated what time they would come to set up. They should have called to give me an updated time but I was forced to call the company several times to get some idea of when they would arrive. They never knew. Their response was constantly, "let me call the delivery drivers and I'll call you back." After a week of dealing with them, I haven't once received a call back from any of the issues. They called the day before their scheduled delivery and asked if they could drop by on that day. This was a bit unexpected but not completely inconvenient. We agreed and they mentioned that they would be by around 2:00pm. 2:00pm arrives, no delivery driver so I call the office and they explain that they're not going to make it today with no further explanation. We wasted our time waiting for them. The following day when they were originally supposed to deliver they failed to communicate when they would arrive. They came later in the day and the set up crew didn't have the greatest of attitudes. They were scheduled to pick up their tent and chairs on Monday in the early morning. When I called to ask about the schedule, because I realized that they're incapable of communicating, they said we weren't scheduled for a pick up. It's directly on the order form that they would pick up on Monday. Tuesday morning comes around, I call again to get this tent and chairs out of the yard and figure out a schedule. They respond that the driver is currently on his way. I tell them no one is home and we will have to schedule the pick up for another time later in the day, I ask that they please call me and confirm the timing. 2 hours later, still haven't heard back. Also they didn't answer their business phone twice during regular business hours and did not have an answering machine, sent the email confirmation 2 days late, and hung up on me because they couldn't understand how to place someone on hold. Even if the delivery driver was incredible and the tent and chairs were next to non I'd still give Planned Celebrations a terrible review because of their office side of operations.

    Chef Cathy was friendly & flexible prior to my daughter's wedding reception 10/13/17 & served a…read moredelicious tasting. However, we were sorely disappointed with the catering experience that followed. I don't like to write negative reviews and will do my best to be balanced. Overall the reception food was good, though some items bland or over baked & the meat portions small compared to what we had sampled. The sliced beef was as tender & delicious as ever. All got eaten quickly, except for some salad & rice, even though the servers controlled portions by spooning food onto each guest's plate. It made me glad we paid for 5 adults who didn't come, or some would have gone hungry! We paid for 5 servers. Only 4 came. Apparently Cathy would have been the 5th, but she cut her finger earlier that week & chose not to come. By contract, they were to serve "a separate tray of apps for wedding party." By the time I noticed they failed to do so, only 1 of 2 appetizers was left. Incidentally, if 1 appetizer ran out so quickly, I suspect the portion allotted per person was scanty. We contracted for 2 separate buffet lines so our 130+ guests could be fed quickly. Her staff set up only 1. I objected, but Cathy only sent enough chafers for them to do a single line! So all were served at half the anticipated pace & the entire evening's schedule delayed as a result. By contract the caterer should bus tables and clean up all areas utilized, yet the venue owner had never seen her place left such a mess. She called them back from the parking lot to do additional cleanup. Even so, trash remained on tables & the cake cutting area was left a mess of crumbs. Four days later, I emailed Cathy describing these issues & others regarding slow and poor service that I don't have space to mention here, & requested a refund for the server who didn't show. She apologized profusely for the way things went & mailed a refund for the 5th server plus an additional sum that amounted to about 2% of the total bill. I suppose this was meant to compensate for not meeting the terms of the contract.
