I wouldn't recommend this company either. Yes, they're cheaper than Chairs of Affairs but I agree, you get what you pay for. I rented a tent from them and it was soooo dirty, old and filthy. They're excuse is that because I rented it only a few days before the event, that was the only tent they had (some BS excuse). They should've informed me of that so I could've made a decision on whether or not I should rent from them. I also rented tables and chairs along with the tent. When they delivered these, they didn't bother to even set them up. They just left them laying down on the grass. I asked about this as well and was told the labor wasn't included in the cost. Chairs 4 Affairs was booked for the weekend we needed a tent and chairs. Our next option was Planned Celebrations. They had a great opportunity to gain our business interest for future events and rentals, but that changed quickly. In short they were terrible at communication and scheduling. They were scheduled to arrive on a Thursday and had not communicated what time they would come to set up. They should have called to give me an updated time but I was forced to call the company several times to get some idea of when they would arrive. They never knew. Their response was constantly, "let me call the delivery drivers and I'll call you back." After a week of dealing with them, I haven't once received a call back from any of the issues. They called the day before their scheduled delivery and asked if they could drop by on that day. This was a bit unexpected but not completely inconvenient. We agreed and they mentioned that they would be by around 2:00pm. 2:00pm arrives, no delivery driver so I call the office and they explain that they're not going to make it today with no further explanation. We wasted our time waiting for them. The following day when they were originally supposed to deliver they failed to communicate when they would arrive. They came later in the day and the set up crew didn't have the greatest of attitudes. They were scheduled to pick up their tent and chairs on Monday in the early morning. When I called to ask about the schedule, because I realized that they're incapable of communicating, they said we weren't scheduled for a pick up. It's directly on the order form that they would pick up on Monday. Tuesday morning comes around, I call again to get this tent and chairs out of the yard and figure out a schedule. They respond that the driver is currently on his way. I tell them no one is home and we will have to schedule the pick up for another time later in the day, I ask that they please call me and confirm the timing. 2 hours later, still haven't heard back. Also they didn't answer their business phone twice during regular business hours and did not have an answering machine, sent the email confirmation 2 days late, and hung up on me because they couldn't understand how to place someone on hold. Even if the delivery driver was incredible and the tent and chairs were next to non I'd still give Planned Celebrations a terrible review because of their office side of operations. read more

DO NOT DO NOT rent even a table cloth from this company. I don't even want to give them one star!They were to deliver a tent and 100 chairs on friday, the day before my daughter's wedding. They didn't deliver until Saturday. ..four hours BEFORE the wedding. I didn't get to do my hair or even shower before walking my daughter down the isle! I tried to communicate with the owner Mike..He was rude and talked over me. He has NO customer service skills! I received no compensation for them being late and he told me he had a drawer full of canceled credit card payments...gee I wonder why! I also rented from Southerland rentals in Cocoa, for the same event, they were awesome. I shoud have rented everything from them in the first place. read more

We booked planned celebrations for our wedding in October. I paid all of my balances in plenty of time and two days before my wedding I called and asked if I could add set up and break down to my service. I authorized them to charge my credit card for the previously discussed amount, and the lady on the phone stated she would discuss it with the manager to be sure it was the amount I remembered, and said she would call me if it was anything other then what I expected.         I never received a call back so I expected this was the correct amount and didn't think of it further. I mean seriously what bride checks their account two days before their wedding when they know that they have the funds to cover the transaction. Way too many other things to worry about. You should be able to trust your vendor. On the day of my wedding I received a call from my now husband while getting my makeup done. He stated the chair delivery guys were there and that they stated they did not receive funds for the set up or break down and that they were refusing to do it. I asked him to keep them there while I called the shop. This was a business day. I called and a guy answered. I told him that I called and spoke to the woman who was not Jesse on wednesday. She stated she had my card information and that she would charge the card unless it was more then the discussed amount. That I don't care what he had to do, to charge my card and provide the service. At this point the guy hung up on me and would not answer any of my calls. The delivery guys threw the chairs on the ground and left. My bridal party and guests had to do the set up and break down on my wedding day because apparently this company knows nothing about good customer service. I called and spoke to Jesse the very next day and very calmly informed her of the problem, the fact that I better not see those funds removed from my account and that she needed to make this right. She didn't return my call for over a week and when she did all she said was sorry. This is unacceptable.         Please. Do yourselves a favor and find someone else for your party rentals. Insure that you recieve the services you request. Pay the couple of extra dollars to recieve the wow customer service you deserve- as this company has no interest in keeping their customers happy or even satistfied. read more

I do not recommend using this company. They're less expensive than any other company in the area, but you truly only get what you pay for. They tried to charge a cleaning fee after we did what they asked us to do by scraping the dishes free of food. They expected them to be rinsed but never communicated that ahead of time. Two of the chargers we ordered were broken, three were stained yellow, we ordered white china and we received gold rimmed China, there were four knives missing and the two gentlemen that helped the owner deliver and pick up the merchandise were rude to our guests. When the owner was notified of the rudeness, the owner defended them to the mother of the bride. After having emails sent back-and-forth regarding the cleaning fee, they refused to refund it. No apologies were made for anything they did wrong and yet they were willing to charge us for something we did not do wrong. Do not use this company! You will be sorely disappointed. read more
