The home is amazing, roomy, and it was perfect for us and our children. None of us wanted to leave, the children were hoping we could stay there forever! After a day outside and sightseeing, the children would always ask to return back to the house because they would rather play there instead of going to a park, museum or mall. They absolutely loved the play structure, the seesaw, the bean bag throwing game (sorry I don't know what it's actually called) and the swing set on the front/side yard as well. And inside the home, the children loved the chalkboard and the space to play inside. It was a much better idea that we stayed there instead of a hotel. It was also in a great part of town, the Alberta District, and we loved the restaurants across the street (Tin Shed), many of the other ones that were walking distance (Salt & Straw-we went there 3x, Petite Provence, Waffle Window, Little Big Burger) were amazing too! The community was so kind, warm and family friendly. Perfect for our family reunion/first big family vacation. =) To the owners, Michelle and Klass, thank you for building such a lovely home and vacation rental for my family and others to experience. It was exactly as described, actually even better in person than the pictures posted online and you delivered well above our expectations! Super clean, quality furnishings and bedding, really well maintained. Other than the little dining table (which looked like it had a bit of age but not a big deal), there wasn't a scratch, stain or chip of paint to be found. Incredibly cozy once the curtains are all closed. We also loved the rope lights in the common area after they lit up in the evening. The location didn't seem to be in a particularly bad/sketchy area, but I appreciate that the lot is completely fenced and gated off. Fortunately for us there were always some open spots to park on the neighborhood street right outside. There are several restaurants within walking distance, which are also listed in the guest book inside each house. The bathrooms may be a bit cramped and some outlets positioned a bit inconveniently, but I suppose that's to be expected in a tiny house. That being said, highly recommend staying here! Nothing else like it. We'd love to come back here again, but now the question is: do we choose a new tiny house, or return to the hallowed and revered Boho Wagon of yore?

But there are problems and it's really not worth the price. The biggest issue I saw was the owners are in this business for the profit and don't care about the customer. My route on I84 into OR was closed due to a major fire, but there would be NO refund. They would've kept the money and left a credit on file for me, that I may never get to even use. The parking is not easy even at 1 pm on a weekday, no matter what the website says. We stayed in the barn, there's really no where to comfortably sit a while inside. The bed is an rv bed and hard as a rock, I woke up in pain everyday. There's no tv. The tiny freezer doesn't freeze. The tea towel curtains are cute but don't adequately cover windows. Getting in and out of the shower, you're in full view to the Boho cabin thru the bathroom window where the curtain doesn't cover. Nah. I'll go to a hotel at about half the price.

Tucked away on a secluded 14 acres you'll find cows, pigs, sheep and chickens, not to mention some friendly cats and the requisite farm dog, Jesse, patrolling the property. A picturesque little creek runs through the property and is great for kids to play and wade in. Don and Kitty are delightful hosts; funny, charming, warm, accommodating, and exceptional chefs to boot! We were lucky enough to be staying over during one of their cooking classes and got to experience the most scrumptious multi-course Italian feast with different varieties of handmade pastas made from their own fresh eggs from the henhouse. Breakfasts are hearty and tasty, and it's a great having it on the sun porch, rain or shine. The house itself is really lovely. Recently built in the last few years, it has very welcoming open floor plan, enviable kitchen, and spacious and comfortable guest rooms. I can't remember when I slept so well. In fact, the entire getaway was just perfectly relaxing, and I was content just to lay about the house reading and hanging out with our hosts. Kitty was even kind enough to give me a lesson on making hooked rugs after I expressed some interest in the lovely examples decorating the living room. All in all, we had a great trip and I can't wait to go back!

We tried fishing but didn't catch any. We had a few bites but did not latch on. We stayed in a standard cottage that had everything we needed. There were quite a few things we could have left behind and not have brought. The AC kept the whole unit cool although we brought our own fan to help battle the extreme heat of 90°. We would have given a 5 star review if not for the wifi being totally unavailable even though it is advertised as having it and the hot water running out after one shower. The next person would have to wait at least an hour to be able to enjoy and finish a short shower. Overall it was a nice stay and would go again if we can. Price is on the spendy side..as much as a hotel room.

SUCH an awesome place to camp over July 4 weekend... i highly…read morerecommend it to everyone! just be early birds like us and find out the first day you can call and reserve for this holiday weekend, note your calendar and just call and do it :) am glad i took my coworker's advice and reserved at this place... she had told me that they have an amazing fireworks show there (not presented by Lake Mayfield Resort and Marina, but by neighbors near by and maybe the town of Mossyrock?)... she was so right! this campground is very clean and well kept. we liked walking across the boat-dock and over to the little island next door as well and up to the lighthouse. the bathrooms were so clean! in all my years of camping, these are some of the nicer bathrooms we have ever seen - it's so sad that even state parks don't seem to keep up with private campgrounds! the saturday night dance was cool too and looked like fun for the whole family. having an on-side store was great too and considering they're a campground, the prices at the store were surprisingly reasonable! kind of bummed that the restaurant was closed, but apparently it is re-opening in 2020. they had a taco truck there though (**very smart**) - we never tried it but heard good things from camp-neighbors. i highly recommend this place.
