Classic neighborhood dive. Love the people, love the drinks, food is hit or miss. Always a good time at the T-Room.

The service was good. They have a lot of tables and nice clean bathroom. Food was hot and crispy. Onion rings were a huge portion and super crunch. The western burger was huge and delicious! The peach bourbon mule was super tasty. I think everything was well priced as well. read more

Gorgeous place, The drinks are sooo good. I took my younger sister here for her 21st, and she loved it too! Servers are always super kind and patient too! read more

Great little dive bar with good outdoor seating options (both covered and uncovered). I'm not sure I've ever been here before 10pm. Solid bar food options. Their menu is well priced and affordable. I've always had great and friendly service here. It's a great place to start or end the night...or both. read more

If you're looking for a solid local bar with great food, Twilight Room is the spot. I come here for their chicken wings--huge, juicy, and super affordable. My go-to order is the Cajun rub wings (they're hot and flavorful) paired with a side of Mediterranean salad for a lighter touch. The wings are definitely the star of the menu, but the chicken tenders are also massive and tasty. It's just a great place for classic bar food, and I really appreciate that about this spot. Whether you're in the mood for wings or something else, Twilight Room is a reliable choice for a satisfying meal. read more

We had the best experience at Twilight Room the other day! Amazingly huge portions, freshly prepared (onion rings to die for!), a great beer selection, all in a cozy, clean, and welcoming space! Noelle is a great bartender, too! Can't wait for warmer weather on the patio- totally dog friendly inside and out! read more

We have driven by this place several times and finally decided to pop in. We were so glad we did, the food was great and loved the old bar. The bartender was super friendly as well the cherry on top! read more

Great happy hour specials, food tasted great. Also, the Guinness on tap was excellent. Nice people working there, too.

Best god damn bar in north Portland, great bar tenders, and really good food, what more can I say

Decent bar, fun on Fridays but don't drink the Guinness, they still haven't found out how to serve it.

Hot, air conditioner sucks, chill n fill is way better. And the chill in fill will change up music, if someone asks. Change it up or you lose. read more

My favorite bar! I'm always so well taken care of. The energy is always so chill and the food is also very good especially for those late night munchies read more

I was in Saturday for a reunion and I come fairly often so I want to say the new bartender Noelle has taken great care of us and has such a great attitude it makes us feel right at home everytime I'm in with my wife. The ambience was good, the food was good and I fully recommend the wings. They've got a good happy hour menu with ample space too. Pets allowed on patio! read more

This is a new one for me. I was charged $30 on my credit card for my meal and drink that came to $24 and told it's standard practice to bill a card that much and it would be credited back for the difference the same day or the following. Still waiting!!! read more

I've been to this dive bar several times. Every time I come, the service and the food gets worse. What do I expect, it's a dive bar right?! 25 minutes for a burger, when the people who showed up 15 minutes after me were served first, and my food was cold, and made completely differently from what the menu lists. Dog at the bar barking, could be a service dog, but no vest, and the staff laughing it off. Whenever I tried to flag down a server, they ignored my calls. Saturday seems to be a bad night to come, because the staff don't seem to give a sh*t about anybody before the karaoke starts at 9pm. Listen, if it's the closest "best" place for food and you're hungry, it works, just don't expect anything to be good. read more

Awesome! Staff is tight! Bouncer had some real charisma, didn't think I believed in love at first sight! Outdoor area is prime for a sunny day read more

Twilight Room - Fun times! - Dive Bars Near Me - Portland, Oregon

Very upsetting event and frankly, not cool at all. My daughter is a student at U of P and was looking forward to signing her name on the ceiling as is tradition at Twilight for U of P graduates. She was visiting home and her flight back to PDX was delayed several hours so she missed the signing by 5 minutes. Twilight refused to pull the ladder back out for her even after she told them about her flight being delayed. Mind you, my daughter does not like to impose and she hates asking for favors. The manager, and especially the lady working with her tonight, are very unpleasant people who left a very bad taste in the mouth of a student and her family that gave them good business for 4 years. She was looking forward to signing with her friends all semester so this one stung. I understand the rules, but a little understanding and flexibility for things out of her control would have been appreciated. What a memory to leave with after 4 years of enjoyment. Great job Twilight read more

I'm not sure why this place doesn't get the best reviews, but their burgers are great! Their fries and tots are also very good. Cool bar ambiance and the music was on point. Also, lots of different beers on tap. 10/10 will dine again. read more

This is a great place for billiards. Several tables (bring lots of quarters!) Typical bar food - not great, just ok. Staff was helpful. Most of the customers are local from the neighborhood and all seemed to know each other (like on the TV show Cheers). read more

SOLID. Really good food - Only once did they disappoint (dry, dead, flavorless), but it was a delivery order. In person they are still going strong with 100% success rate. Cute ambiance. Service is good - but only sometimes do they have table service so you don't necessarily know what you're gonna get, which is a bummer. Overall, a fabulous option and a neighborhood treasure. read more

Where do I begin . I grew up in this bar which why this sucks! WHAT HAPPENED??? you go in now the feeling is this now a college student bar but it can't be cause the prices to everything has been jacked to the moon it's about 40 bucks for a beer and burger now the staff has gotten worse with attitudes except for a couple of ones I've known since I was 21. The quality in food has severally dipped as well. Wings are 80 percent of the time under cooked due to how huge they are. Burgers are good just massively over priced. But the biggest problem is the way they now don't make people feel comfortable. It was a football Sunday sometime ago me and my friends was watching our teams easily spending the most money in the bar mind you the place is dead. When a server comes over and literally shoosed us. We barely go back ever since. read more

Actually really good food for a bar! The BLT is the best around! Lots of bacon! Definitely get one of their slushy drinks, perfect for a warm afternoon or one of our notoriously hit Portland days! read more

I like this place! They made my drink exactly the way I like it with no qualms and I'm a picky little B. The bar tenders are genuinely nice and go above and beyond. The food is decent and the crowd is cute. It's pretty spacious too which is a plus. Nice patio. read more

This my first time here and I love the place. The food is good and the people rock. I love the skull crow they have a smile on there faces

One of the best dive bars in Portland. The food is good and you can catch karaoke on Saturday nights with Sara and Sean bartending

The Dad's Chicken dinner was amazing. Really tasty and crispy fried chicken that was juicy. Macaroni and cheese was creamy and rich. Good combo and service was fast! read more

Menu online not updated prices , so a big surprise at pickup on cost . Fries are hard and cold and burgers were hard . Bacon cheeseburger listed for 11.99 were 15.99 and chicken strips listed as 10.99 and were 15.99 . Plus 10% service charge . When I called and asked about I was told oh well I guess we haven't updated that . No apology nothing . Definitely not worth the money . read more

Horrible customer service, male bartender yelled at everyone to get the "F" out at closing. Then yelled "I told you mother F'ers to leave", for no reason at all. Most unbelievable instance of poor customer service I've ever seen. I don't know whats happened there but this isn't my first really bad experience there. Now Im done and I know many others are as well. The owner needs to clean house because his employees are ruining what used to be a fine place. This was our local hangout since the 90's and its sad to see! read more

Great cheese burger and fries, lots of TV options. Friendly staff and nice overall atmosphere. Definitely would go back.

Twilight Room or "T-Room" is a fine place to have a few drinks with friends. They have a couple pool tables and a large Jenga game. I adore the patio out back on a sunny Portland day. They offer basic bar food. I have always been satisfied with the snacks that I have ordered. Drinks are a little on the high side when not on happy hour. I would maybe frequent this bar a little more if they didn't have karaoke. read more

Twilight Room - Beautiful patio out back. Perfect for enjoying a happy hour cocktail. - Dive Bars Near Me - Portland, Oregon

Horrible service red hair with glasses! Was completely rude! She picks and chooses who she wants to be nice to. I felt so uncomfortable! Not sure why I was treated that way! She came up to saying she knows my girl friend and that I stare at other females. I never engage or even stare at another woman when I'm happy to come home to my wife! This was uncalled for, not sure why she has a problem with me. She also forced me to pay 30% for a tip! I refuse to tip anyone who is so foul and rude! Never coming back here again! Don't come here the food is disgusting and service sucks! read more

Corner bar and grill that doesn't look like much from the street, however a gem for good food and service. Play a lead urla game of pool or two...only 0.75 a game. I recommend the Burgers and tots/fries. Decent food that I have coming here for over 20 years. Great selection of draft beer and overall a chill place to get food and drink. read more

Great people behind the bar and good cold beers. Burger was just OK. Fries were disgustingly greasy, limp and not many of them. Burger was a previously frozen patty and piled high with veggies and the presentation was nice. I wish it tasted as good as it looked. The typical dive bar in Portland and the type of neighborhood place I could be a regular if I lived in the area. Sports on TV and video poker in the back. read more

The staff is one of the rudest I have ever encountered. They do not give one care in the world to their customers and do not value anyone but themselves. read more

Came here on a Thursday - turns out it's college night, and there is CHEAP beer to be had. It is also extremely packed, so if you're [ahem] a little older than college-age, either arrive earlier or pick another night. The food we had really didn't suck - for such a teeny kitchen, I didn't expect anything amazing. Surprising, the Pirate Wrap was HUGE - decent priced, and quite tasty. I will disagree about slow service. For a place as large as this, I saw only two bartenders trying to serve drinks to a million college kids, take food orders, AND distribute said orders. Until you've had to do this yourself, you may not realize it's extremely difficult - and yes, sometimes service will be slow. Cut them some slack - what I saw was really efficient service considering there were 2 bartenders (no wait staff) trying to serve a gaggle of collegiates. read more

Dive bar food.Try the fiesta melt or any of their wraps. Burgers are great. If you're going to do the fries, request them cajunized. I much prefer the onion rings, but know plenty of people who swear by those fries. They pour a mean drink as well! Cheap, cheap, cheap! It's been awhile since I've been in college- but the T-Room has never lost it's appeal. Not just a college student/professor bar. Lots of locals and not too many hipsters, which is refreshing for this neck of the woods anymore. Family friendly during the day. read more
