From the fun baseball caps bearing phrases that are dripping with sarcasm to the posters, bumper stickers and lapel pins that add a little levity to life. I definitely stop by here when I'm looking for fun gifts to give out of towners because there are so many references to local staples that are uniquely Rhode Island. Did I mention the staff is super nice every time I come in here? They know I'm mostly browsing and eventually will find something. They're helpful when you need them and they let you be to just explore and have a good time... sharing insights when they are needed and just overall helping make this a chill shopping atmosphere.

We popped into Frog and Toad to see what else they had to offer. We found it was a fun spot full of eclectic trinkets and items, gifts and clothing. Some specific to the area, some not so much, but fun nonetheless. They offer items in many price ranges , and items good for young and old alike. We enjoyed looking through all the items, getting some good laughs and even picking up a few small items to take home. This shop is a fun and unique spot, definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

They did have a sign on the door asking customers to not take photos while inside- whether it is for security purposes or to ward off the use of google image. I guess you will have to visit yourself! Extremely small parking lot, it looks as though they share the parking lot with a few other businesses, but have a few spots exclusively for their store.

My mom started walking into the store because it is her birthday and wanted to see the jewelry. Immediately upon entering we noticed how beautiful and organized the shop is. Rather small in space with only a few costumers in shop. The merchandise was from all over the world and my family (being well traveled) noticed many heritage pieces. My oldest sister had asked the store owner if she had made the jewelry herself. The woman firmly and with very rude intention responded "what?, what are you talking about NO." Afterwards we attempted to keep light conversation about the countries the items were from. The owner and her daughter are extremely rude and disconnected. They never once looked up at us or bothered to stop texting to answer our questions. On top of it they're very uneducated on their products and extremely over priced for items you can get for bulk on Amazon. I would of purchased some jewelry from this store if the woman would actually care about selling their products. Unfortunately I will never come back here.

What a wonderful breath of fresh, bright, colorful air this lil shop & studio is…read more I came in looking specifically for coasters, & while I did find coasters almost immediately, I spent almost an hour browsing the rest of the space. The store is heavily curated by the owner Nicole, who is also an artist herself, & it shows. It was an adventure, moving from display to display, always finding something new to look at & admire. It also smelled SPECTACULAR in the store thanks to a selection of gender-neutral scented items - soaps, perfumes, candles, body oils, etc. I was gift shopping for other people, but can't wait to go back to buy a treat for myself. I had my eyes on a "mezcal blanco" perfume roller. Nicole is a Providence local who creates upcycled tie ascots (hard to explain but beautiful to behold.) They are, in themselves, a masterclass in textile design. Shopping around this store was a total mood booster for me today. I can't wait to see what the future brings for Nicole & Asterfields.

A family friend brought my two daughters there last week…read more The experience was fine for them, however, this place does not advertise that the owner is extremely religious, plays Christian worship music, and writes scripture on the bags when the items are picked up. If that aspect of the business isn't specifically advertised, it can be a bit off putting for someone who doesn't know what they're walking into. Our biggest issue stems from that fact that this place took pictures of my children and put them on their social media. My wife reached out via chat on Instagram and was ignored. My wife called the business and talked directly to the owner and was met with indifference. She said that the Instagram account was ran.by someone else and she would reach out before pushing my wife off the phone. It was eventually removed and replaced, sarcastically, with a picture of my children with yellow smiley faces blocking them. The Instagram account also blocked my wife who only asked for the pictures to be removed. It wasn't until after this that we saw that she also posted pictures of our children to FACEBOOK and those weren't removed. We tried calling again, during business hours, and the phone was off. So I went there and spoke to her myself. I explained to her that putting images of children is against Rhode Island law. After making me wait, she got on her own phone and all of a sudden had access. She deleted the pictures and I went on my way. I don't recommend this place unless you're a religious zealot looking to spend the afternoon with an insufferable Karen who thinks breaking the law is ok because she's "always done it."

The atmosphere was not relaxing at all. She needs to learn to treat people with professionalism and respect. We ended up walking out. We will never go back to "WEIRD GIRL"
