Craftland is a mix of card shop, gift store and souvenir store. The staff is pleasant and very helpful if you need their help. The stuff is all colorful and well laid out, so when I walk in the store, it feels bright and cheerful. Last week the stars aligned and I was able to drop in. My first impression was "cute". It's a very tiny space, but there is a wide variety packed in. There are a lot of different price points. A few items were "wow, that's expensive", while others I thought were priced really cheap and snatched them up. I ended up leaving with some jewelry (that I've already gotten complements on), a book, and a few things that I am going to tuck away for gifts. I'll definitely be stopping in again and you should too if you are in the area.

This is the place to stop if you're into Trollbeads! I had searched to see if there were any local…read moreretailers as I really like to see before purchasing and this came up (relatively close - still a nice day trip). I was blown away when I stopped in at the selection of not only Trollbeads (more on that) but interesting items. There was a huge assortment of antiques, new crafts, cards, books, vintage furnishings - you name it, I think they may have carried it! But, back to the beads - Karen came over and she was just incredible. She clearly knows her Trollbeads and a total newbie like me learned so much from her probably less than an hour, it was amazing. Not to mention the huge selection. And, the really affordable prices on many beads that you just won't find anymore. I found Karen to be so helpful and charming and honest. It was a really nice customer experience and I highly recommend visiting Twice Told Tales for anyone in the area. Plus, the downtown is really nice with an assortment of quirky stores and restaurants (and plenty of parking). It really is a hidden gem!

When we saw said this and apologized she rudely told us it was right there and proceeded to get close to us and asked us to leave, we had passed 2 other workers when we walked in and they hadn't said anything, we also saw an older lady with her grandchild and she had a drink. It felt like she was targeting us as we were the only people of color, she proceeded to follow us out and watch us through the window. She was also berating us while we were leaving. The issue isn't the drink policy but the way she went about it felt very aggressive, racist and hostile.
