Not only was the staff incredible, the prices are unbelievably good for a small place. I was able to find things cheaper here than back home as I live in a small town too. Definitely stop here. We bought groceries for a week and they had such a good variety without being overwhelming. We got casual food, along with fancier foods to bring to the music night on the peninsula on Saturday. There was plenty of parking, and the carts worked well! I even talked up this holiday market at a dinner we had with friends!

What a cute little co op store!…read more I was hiking the PCT, and came by Quincy to do some resupply. We had the afternoon available, and my friend and I love co op stores. They had a lot of great items including fresh produce, bulk bin nuts/seeds/granola, and refreshing drinks for a hot day! We visited on a Monday in the last week of June and found this place to be nice and quiet. We felt it was safe to leave our packs outside, and no one messed with our stuff while we went in to purchase some food! They also had tables outside, perfect for hikers to grab food to sit down and eat! I had also just gotten a tattoo at a music festival nearby and wanted something handy, they had tube's of Buddha butter, which I loved! I ended up using the Buddha butter as lip balm for the rest of the trail. This spot also had some to go coffee and individually wrapped pastries as well. Including tea! Overall, the staff were super friendly and this place is stocked with a lot of great produce and drinks, which I crave often. Everything is a bit pricier than a typically grocery store though, so perhaps a resupply here isn't the most feasible, but still great to pick up a few small items. If I was in the area, I would visit again!

They deserve to be recognize by the county on everything they're doing. As an outsider looking in from my past experiences as retailer myself and worked with big corporation in this town and outside. The Owners have been doing their best to allow the community to embrace what they are about. Of course, not everyone are welcoming, but us people that's normal to judge and ridicule someone else's hard work not knowing what it took to hike up there. The point is they did something for them and for the Locals. Bargains!! Bargains!! Affordable! This town is good at negativity. However, the products are good dated and of course some are close dated from time to time it's why things are much affordable and cheap. We have motto in our family. If you're buying just to have it, then you're more than likely not going to eat it. My tips to all the shoppers be responsible when you shop and not based their "dated" product in your own daily consumptions. I do hear a lot of negative remarks, but to be honest as a young couple doing this daily. They earned my families respect.
