Shane did a really fantastic job and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. Our job was fairly complex (a large pull-down mount over a fireplace, with several game systems and a sound system to connect) and Shane did really first-rate work mounting the system and organizing the cables. Somethin really makes me feel SHANE is getting friends and family to give him reviews on Yelp and Google. The guy is Bogus! He insisted I give him a positive review before he left but I refused! I used another company for audio video installations which was great but I did not save their number. Shane may have been an apprentice or "helper" at that company but now he is out on his own and it is not good. He seems nice on the phone but once he gets to your place you can tell he is rushed. Instead of taking time to make the installation as nice as possible he takes shortcuts. Like running the power cord designed for exterior use only and rationalizing "everybody does it" . I also explained that I wanted to only run an optical connection to my sounbar if it supported true PCM 5.1 not 2.0. He did not know what this meant. He said he has been doing audio video for 10 years so how could he not know this? I was really upset at his dusty, dirty work but kept my mouth shut because he is quite a large imposing figure. I juist wanted him gone. to my surprise he started telling me he would give me $20 off my bill If I gave him a 5star review on google and he would show me how. I told him I was sorry but I did not have time. He went on trying to pressure me to do it. I did not give in but fear he must try this everywhere he goes even though his work and knowledge suck. Shane does great work. He knows what he's doing, very professional, comes with all the tools and extra parts as well. I was missing the drywall screws for my TV mount and he had them no problem. He mounted both my TVs with the wires hidden in the wall, and everything coming out neatly from a plate at the bottom. I was also impressed that Shane cleaned up all the dust/dirt left afterwards, and even helped me put the furniture back into place. If you didn't want to buy mounts from him, you can also buy it yourself and get him to install it, which is a great option and not many companies offer this. He also offers various wire-hiding options for you if you weren't keen on moving the wall socket. His work is extremely clean and looks amazing on our bedroom wall. I hired TV mounting to put up a television a while back. Like many folks, I wasn't able to find a reputable technician to assist. BestBuy charged way too much and some of these other TV mounting companies were quite suspect in my eyes. For example, they didn't return phone calls and or would cancel last minute. Finally I selected TV mounting based on the reviews and the response that I received. I can tell you that I've never been so satisfied with the service. Shane did a great job and even returned the following day to fix a minor issue. I'm definitely going to call him for the next job. Nobody has the right to slam him for his work ethic. How dare they. I imagine the same people that are his competitors are the ones posting fake reviews about him. Reveal yourself! Learn a few tricks from him. It's called customer service.
