He even offered to change out our old rubber water hoses for us (that had expired 10 years ago!). A hiccup happened when one of the water lines ended up leaking without me realizing. I eagerly ran 6 loads of laundry, and because our washer is on the second floor the leak ended up going into the floor & downstairs ceiling (a side note here, part of the reason I didn't realize is because the drip pan under our washer which was catching the water, but the drain is what failed and is where the water was seeping out - so because the water was seeping out of the drip pan I also didn't notice it). Once I noticed the downstairs ceiling, I shut off the water and called Peter. He was at my home within an hour on a Sunday morning and helped get the washer pulled out, the wet area cleared on the floor upstairs and removed the damaged sheetrock from the ceiling downstairs. He came back a few days later once the subfloor dried, placed the vinyl flooring back down, reattached the baseboard and tested our washer to make sure it was working and not leaking. Then he got me in touch with someone to repair the ceiling and covered all the associated costs. I really appreciated not only having a functioning dryer again, but also the dedication Peter displayed to helping me get everything squared away after the leak.
