My daughter has been in this class for the past 7 months and I've seen her opening up more and being less shy. The instructors are truly amazing. They make the kids feel comfortable and allow them to bring out their own inner beauty through ballet. For my 2 year old daughter I've seen her be kinder to her brother and bow when I compliment her. She gets excited every time I put on her ballerina outfit.

My daughter and I Love Tutu school. I Enrolled my daughter whe she turned 2 1/2 and she is always looking forward to going once a week. Miss Ellie is so sweet and patient with all the toddlers. I highly recommend this place for your little ones to learn basic dance steps, coordination, balance and if they like to play follow the leader this place will definitely teach them valuable development skills.

We only came here for a short while, but we liked the time we spent here. There was absolutely nothing "wrong" with the establishment, but my reasoning for only giving 4 stars is because I didn't feel they had strong enough structure when it came to teaching skills/foundation of dancing. In my opinion, this is a great place for toddlers and littles 3yrs and under. I didn't feel there was enough time being spent on TEACHING skills and movements. They went through the motions but too quickly for the kids to grasp. It was the same class of girls time after time just quickly copying movements without remembering how to do them from previous classes. And then they would be "taught" a dance at the end of each class but there was way too much for the children to remember and the choreo was just simply being copied. And then the teacher would add onto the choreo that the children already didn't remember from the previous classes. I felt there was more focus being put on making the girls feel like cute ballerinas (which is perfectly fine, and fun) than learning the basics of dance. I'm sure there is a reason why they do things the way they do, but this was my take from the time we went there.

We started coming just after my daughter turned two and after six months i've watched her truly come out of her shell. She is an observer and has taken her time to warm up but she always looks forward to coming to class each week. She's very serious and enjoys practicing the technique more than the social aspect but i've also noticed her warming up to her classmates each week. All the teachers are welcoming, talented, and each being their own style to their classes, but we are so so grateful for Ms. Sarah. We almost want to gatekeep how incredible she is. She is warm, bright, friendly, and very patient with each and every student and my daughter adores her. I've also found the text number so so helpful when I have a random question (which is often). I always receive a prompt reply. With a free trial class, it's definitely worth checking out if you're at all curious. It's a great way to give your child an opportunity to learn the basics of dance, as well as important skills such as listening, respecting others, trying new things, and believing in themselves. "Thank you for the magic!"

Ms. Ellie is amazing! It was my daughter Ella's first time and Ms. Ellie was so patient with her as Ella was talkative and active. Ms. Ellie did a wonderful job teaching the students and keeping them engaged. We will definitely be back for more classes.

The studio itself it cute too!

We LOVE Tutu School! Miss Makenna at the Rancho Cucamonga location is wonderful! My daughter just adores her and has such a fun time in class. The recital costumes are FABULOUS and are included in the recital fee along with a portrait session with a professional photographer!! If you're looking for a ballet studio that is not focused on competitive dancing, but just focuses on the kids having a fun time and enjoying the dancing, this is the place for you!!

My daughter has been attending Tutu school since October 2024. She started in Tutu toddlers and since then has moved up a level. I absolutely love how patient Miss June is with the kids. My daughter had Miss June since she started and when she moved up we picked a different class time just to be able to stay with her. However, Miss Ellie is also very good! We have done several makeup classes with her! The classes are definitely age appropriate while still helping them grow their ballet skills. My daughter looks forward to coming to ballet every week! I highly recommend this studio!

Miss. Ellie is the best!

My daughter has been attending Tutu school in Rancho Cucamonga for some time now and absolutely loves it! She looks forward to seeing her ballet friends, instructors and classroom! She has been in several recitals which has boosted her self confidence and loves seeing her whole family in the audience! We would recommend this ballet studio to anyone, it's fantastic.

Finding one with quality instruction and great owner/operators like this is REALLY a rare gem! 1) From the front desk to the dance floor with GREAT instructors, this place is PROPERLY staffed! 2) The facility is beautiful, functional, and equipped. Classes are fully separated, sound systems are great, and they keep the studios nice and COOL even in the summer for all the hours you'll be sweating it out while you learn. 3) Class format and teaching style is second to none to get you to your goals fast, and learn more progressively, to build competence and confidence. 4) If you need to change before or after work, there are even ample restrooms (which are very clean) for the volume of customers they have before and after class. There's even a professional scheduling/enrollment/payment system for classes. What's the alternative to this place? Big name chains, you KNOW who they are. Cramped JUMBO single-studio room with 2-5 classes happening in the same room, packed over crowded floors you can't even move around on treating you like you're cattle, different genres of music shooting out of cheap floor speakers from all directions of people learning different material concurrently in the same room, sweating it out in 90 degree rooms where they frequently claim the air conditioning is broken to keep their utilities/overhead low. You can't make this stuff up folks lol. I've been to 4 separate studios in the Inland Empire in the last 5 years besides this place, and I SWEAR all of these things have been re-concurring themes in our community. Some were chains, some were not. Arthur Murray was born in 1895 and so were some of these places, that's all I'm going to say lol.

The owner took money that was not hers and did not reimburse it. She constantly found reasons to keep the money and gave out excuses. Where all these other dance studios in the area the children are actually learning how to dance. She picks favorites and she let everyone know that your kid is not valuable of her time, but yet she expects you to keep paying and paying for her to treat your kid like they don't mean anything. She is a very nasty woman. Moving to a different studio was the best thing I could do and I recommend that to anyone who fall victim to this woman. And get sucked into her money trap ways.

Unfortunately they lost so many very talented instructors . The owner would tell us that these instructors would leave for other opportunities. Unfortunately it was not that way at all. My daughter was always passed on to get a part. When I would bring it up (not the owners favorite), she would say that she needs to keep learning and get better. However with the constant change in instructors how can they see the children's progress? My daughter imagined being one of the oldest dancers in the studio. That was her goal. I truly thought she would be. Unfortunately it sadly ended for us at the last competition. The team that the owner cared for the least and in her words.. "I don't like HipHop" was the the team that actually placed in competition. Versus her favorite Company dance group. The Favoritism shines in this place. You can see who the favorites are. They are the ones that constantly perform in every dance performance. Would bend over for those parents. Sadly all other dancers were just for show. I do recommend it for little kids under 10 to look cute in a Christmas or expensive costume. Anyone over 11 years... they will not advance. My daughter was not a ballet or jazz dancer. But she gave it her all. It's not a bad studio, just wished that all students were treated with the same enthusiasm and energy.

I have debated writing this review for some time as I have never given someone less than 4 stars!…read moreHowever, I want to ensure same experience doesn't happen to other parents trying to find a dance home for their little one. Overall, the poor recent reviews hold true. The environment does not foster relationship building with students nor parents. I had my 8-year old daughter there briefly during Nutcracker season. I expected the performance to be grand being hosted at the Laugh factory and all to say it was extremely disappointing show - not due to students abilities but clear reflection on academy's skill set to develop and choreograph. On top of disappointing show, there was very little communication and engagement with staff and parents as I've experienced with other academies. When it was time to enroll in new semester, I was informed my daughter would be only allowed to do 1 class a week and not engage in that season performance due to bad behavior. When I asked for specific examples, I was given generic statements that kids were bitting and hitting during Nutcracker but nothing specific to my child. As a parent, I try to not assume my child is the best behaved. Of course I was shocked to hear this feedback, especially since I made it a point to ask each night after practices how my daughter did and was never informed of such egregious behavior. When I reached out to Gabby to request a meeting to discuss further and find a solution based approach that would help my child grow not hinder her, I was given the run around. My daughter had cried and not enjoyed dancing while she was at this school because she stated the teachers were mean and did not listen to her. I initially assumed her feelings were just nervousness and acclimating to new things and tried to encourage her to just give it time. Even before shutting down the feedback of the poor behaviors Gabby stated, I asked her school teachers, soccer coach and STEM teacher who've known her since kindergarten if she's ever showed that behavior and her teachers were shocked to hear that is something she would do. I attempted to advocate, and was willing to pay extra, for my daughter to have additional classes to help her improve as she was also not moved up to the next level. After not receiving responses and deflection from Gabby, we decided to enroll in a different studio better equipped at understanding, and developing, the characteristics, personalities and abilities of their students. My daughter is now at a better quality academy that placed her in a higher level upon her first assessment, has deemed her a leader in her class, and has helped re-build her confidence and love in ballet! Again, this review is not written lightly. I am not a professional dancer. I am just a mom who wanted a good community and dance home for my daughter. A Terre School of Dance, for us, was not that.

The owner Danielle seems to be very knowledgeable and pleasant. When you think of what a ballerina…read moreor ballet instructor should emulate, she is the epitome of that. Yet as a business, the customer service lacks for the amount you're paying monthly. My expectation is that when I reach out to a business that I am paying well over $150 for, I expect assistance at a professional level. I've also noticed that there wasn't much encouragement for students to bond or for the instructors to build a narrative to foster relationships so it feels like a community. I can imagine that this would be difficult for newer students. I very much wanted to love this school, because the owner does have a lot to offer, but for the time and money I put in, I did not receive the service expected.
