My daughter joined ballet in january for a free trial... She loved it so much and couldnt wait to go again!! Teacher Stephanie is the best!! She makes the class so fun and entertaining from stretches to twirling to bubble and story time. My daughter gets excited when its Tuesdays and i always tell her its tutu tuesdays. She learned a lot in the class. My daughter isnt shy at all but classes like this helps children build confidence especially doing their butterfly solos and basically just trying their best.

I brought my 25mo daughter to the free trial class to see if she would spark interest in ballet. Once our class was over, she showed immediate affection towards dancing. We then signed up for our monthly membership and we have been going for 3 months now. My daughter loves Teacher Stephanie - She's jolly, interactive and fun. Classes are once a week (makeup class available), 45min session includes stretching, ballet exercises, bubbles, storytime and coloring (this is for Toddler class). Located at 99 Ranch plaza, adjacent to Dim Sum King, 2nd floor. Now my daughter gets super excited when its time to change into her ballet outfit. "We love Ballet!"

Amazing ballet school! My daughter has been going since it opened and it she always has the best time! Her teacher is incredible. I love the program they have where they teach actual ballet but also incorporate exercisesor activities to keep the kids engaged (my daughter is 2 so she can't fully follow along to all the dance moves, so the mix of teaching dance and playing has worked so well for her). I used to take her to a different ballet school and she would cry every session but as soon as she started here she's blossomed so much!

I appreciated that she adjusted her approach based on our timeline. We started with just a few classes, so she focused more on just creating and teaching the choreography. But when we realized we could devote more time, she shifted to working with us on our fundamentals to make the entire thing look much more polished. Highly recommend!

We took a total of 5 dance lessons and we are so happy with the results. Our successful first dance would not have been possible without Genevieve's guidance, patience, and incredible choreography. She started by teaching us the basic fundamental dance steps (ie. rumba, foxtrot, single time swing) and then pieced the steps into a choreographed dance to the song we chose (Harvest Moon by Neil Young). She taught us how to transition from one step to another and provided us with tips on how to be more aligned with each other. This was the first time we've taken dance lessons since we were kids, but Genevieve made us feel comfortable and put us at ease! After every session, she would email us notes so we could review each lesson and practice at home. I highly recommend taking dance lessons with Genevieve, whether it's for your wedding or just for fun! My partner and I really enjoyed our time with Genevieve and are so thankful for her support and guidance. We look forward to further lessons with her in the future! Tips for new clients: I recommend starting your lessons at least a month and a half before your wedding. It would be helpful if you had your first dance song or a few song options chosen before reaching out to Genevieve.

They have small lockers just outside of the restrooms, so do not plan on bringing anything to shower or a giant duffel bag full of personal items. Evening crowd was surprisingly overwhelming. a lot of teens and young adults who work out in groups of 3-4, often hogging the machines and free weights. However, after my first experience coming in here at 6:30pm, I decided to come early in the morning (6am), and the experience was so much more pleasant!! The machines are clean, only about 30 people in the gym, and I had access to everything before I start my day at work. So far, so good.

BREACH OF CONTRACT or SCAM…read more My contract agreement says $7/month. Since 4/26/2022, I was being charge $7/month as it was stated on the agreement contract. But since September 2024 I was automatically charged $8 on my credit card. I was never notified or in any agreement with anyone or any written statement. After I noticed the unauthorized charges, I reached to the gym via email (twice) and in person to get a refund or reimbursement. The gym never responded to my email. I personally went to the gym and asked about the unauthorized extra charge. The mgmt staff verbally stated today that it was because of the "RECESSION" or "INFLATION" I Lmao Recession or inflation wasn't the customers fault, not in the contract and I was never notified or in agreement of any form. Also today, i was charged extra $10 for a late monthly automatic credit card fee. I was never late since April 2022. It just happened that my credit card expired a couple of days ago. I was only behind for 3 days! After I was notified at the gym that my credit card expired, I paid my dues immediately within 5 seconds. I was still charged for late fees. No grace period...

My daughter enjoys the Monday classes. We also started the Saturday classes which I have to get her warmed up to. The instructors are good, they do their best I don't have an outrageous high expectation, its hard enough to be a teacher yet, it's even harder to be a teacher to children because not all kids have a long attention span. It was a perfect extra curricular for her during lockdown and she learned so much virtually. They had virtual showcase and the kids learned the dances just though the screen and to me that was amazing. Teachers Fue and Jackie are very patient to the kids. Now that Manuia has been open in person, they were able to do in person shows lately, one of which was in Chase Center for the Warriors Polynesian Heritage Night. That was a very memorable experience for my daughter. Not only that she's learning different dances, coming out of her shell and is more confident, but Manuia is like a family to us. She's making new friends and the amazing team: Auntie Camille, Uncle Tommy, lovely teachers Fue and Jackie and the rest of the Manuia teachers and drummers are very welcoming and talented in more ways than one.

One day by chance, I saw 2 people doing capoeira at a street event of the Center (an awesome place by the way) , who were students of Bill Stark (Tucano), it looked so fun and beautiful I wanted to try it myself at his school. The philosophy of the school is to make capoeira accessible to everyone, and this really shows when you go to their classes. Everyone I have met in class is very welcoming, friendly, has a really good atitude on their own work as well as helping others. The energy and inspiration you get off them is really high. I d never done Yoga, I had just been trying to keep in shape with gym and tennis sometimes, I have been doing 2 and a half months of Capoeira at CAQ, I can now do stuff I could never imagine myself doing and I feel stronger than ever, and this is only the beginning... Tucano is a very nice, friendly, inspiring guy. His capoeira is awesome and knows how to feed knowledge on his students. Once you got the most basic things right, he works on the details, one by one, making the move/sequence you are working on more challenging at every step. If you are a more advanced student, he still does this, there is always room for improvement in Capoeira!. He also talks about strategy at the games and gives you very constructive feedback when he sees something wrong. The place where we train is really nice and conveniently located at Lower Haight. Lots of classes - Mon-Fri 8-9AM , Mon-Thu 6:30-7:30, and a weekly roda (really a lot of bang for your buck) . First week is 18 bucks for you to try it out, then $135 a month. Join us!

I'm a black belt in a Japanese martial arts, and a teacher in that practice as well, so I can say with great confidence that Tucano's class is a great blend of workout, theory, and play. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for mental, physical or spiritual exercise.

You guys need to just switch to antibacterial wipes to avoid all this headache. 1) Save some trees and use antibacterial wipes. Antibacterial wipes are made of polyester so less or no tress are harmed in making of these wipes and I am sure you guys go through countless rolls of paper towels each day. 2) Your spray bottles sucks and are always broken. Antibacterial wipes are already soaked in cleaning solution so you don't even need to use your janky spray bottles anymore. 3) Less mess and trash. Since the antibacterial wipes are already soaked in cleaning solution, you just need 1 wipe to wipe down multiple machines after each use. Compare that to ripping up 2 paper towels and spraying it with solution to clean 1 machine is a no brainer. The mens bathroom are still dirty and smells like piss constantly but I think some men are just dirty in general and no amount of cleaning is going to change this. The treadmill machines are way too close that they're practically touching one another. You guys need to think about separating the treadmill machines and giving more space in between them. I don't need to feel the sweat dripping off the person next to me.
