This is the largest and nicest Barnes & Noble I've visited. The science fiction, fantasy and horror…read moresections at the center of the back wall are huge and have a strong selection of new novels and classics. Employees recommendations on the shelves call out individual titles. Lots of tables display trade paperbacks and hardcovers devoted to a particular theme or sale. One labeled "Five Star Fiction" presented well-reviewed new releases. If you order from the cafe look for a book near the register that's on sale for $5 with a purchase. I usually prefer used bookstores to new ones but this palatial Barnes & Noble is worth the stop. It's at the same I-95 exit as Buc-ee's.

They even discovered some books they're interested in, which was such a treat to see. I grabbed a coffee while we were there, and although it was nice, I did feel it was a bit overpriced. Such a nice couple. The bookstore has a wide selection of new and used books. I purchased seven books and some accessories (plaque with quote), and the total cost was under $50.00. So affordable here. I purchased a fiction book by Joel Rosenberg. Great read. After a week, I had to return to purchase the sequel to the book. I also purchased multiple study books on my second visit. My wife stopped by and purchased several toys for the grandchildren to keep them occupied. The owners were so helpful in assisting us in making a selection. Bookstores and particularly Christian Bookstores are a dying breed. This establishment seems to be bucking the trend. Stop by and support these good folks. I am confident that when you walk in, you will feel just like family.

I spent a good amount of time in the fantasy section. They also hold events regularly. I saw signs for various book clubs (good selections as I read most of them!) and they even have book release parties (the newest dungeon crawler Carl release is up next). In a time where we see less and less bookstores, it is good to see such a great bookstore in our community. Wall of Books is a refreshing glimpse into that wonderful institution of a bookstore. Once upon a time, bookstores were a part of the shopping landscape, just like record stores. That pesky internet has changed a lot of businesses and businesses like bookstores and record shops are more of a unique and rare sighting than a regular business that you see everywhere. It is good to see Wall of Books and I would definitely recommend a visit here.
