The outside of the mall (and I use that term loosely) is kind of scary, but inside, I found it quite nice and nostalgic. I felt like I was an an old, oversized Waldenbooks from the 80's (I must have read about it in History class or something, who was even alive back then). There are entrances on the outside facing the main road, and also on the inside leading in/out of the mall. With many other brick and mortar book stores closing, it's nice that some stores still exist.

They are now open 3 days a week: Monday, Thursday, and Friday. And on those 3 days, only 4 hours a day. And today ta-dah (!) was one of their open days. Their address shows Orlando avenue but the entrance to the parking is between A1A and Orlando. Park closest to the back of the church, as that is near where the entrance to the thrift shop is. Inside, the shop is bigger than you'd expect from the outside. Over a half dozen rooms organized by categories -- books, men's, linens, etc., and they even have a dressing room to try on things. Everything was neat and organized. And their prices were very, very reasonable. Even with low prices to begin with, they run specials based on color plastic tags. There was a lot of Women's clothing and some starting at only $1! And I'm not talking crappy stuff either. You'd actually wear some of this stuff. If you're in the area during their open times, and like thrift shopping, it's well worth a stop.

Whenever the one guy isn't there, I've run into very unhelpful, antisocial young guys who don't want to help or talk to me. It's really gone downhill since the first time I went there a couple of years ago. At this point, I only support them because they're the only gaming shop in town. However, the selection is incredibly limited beyond Warhammer and Magic items, and the figure collection is ok, but geared towards really popular items. Without a doubt, this is one of the most complete crystal shops in Central Florida. I can think of…read morecomparable great shops, one in Tampa, and another one in Daytona. Island Crystal is very impressive, having collector items such as Tanzanite, Moldavite, Libyan glass, and more advanced healing crystals such as herkimer diamonds and vogel crystals. I have not seen another shop with this type of inventory anywhere else in Florida. Island Crystal also has lots of incense, and a few racks of books. Many shops are dedicated to only crystals, and few have books anymore, which makes this place a great stop for anyone looking for information and for tools. But the tools don't just stop with the crystals, there are charts, trinkets, decorations, statues, anything you may need to kick start a spiritual journey. Additional to this, you find musical instruments used for healing, blankets and drapes, anything necessary to decorate your space. And also, there are many painting for sale. This place is literally the oasis. I recommend everyone make the trip to Cocoa and check out this place. If you are local to Cocoa, then you should stop by. As far as I know, this place will offer workshops in the future, so it will grow from a store to a community hub for people interested in spirituality and consciousness.
