Stone Street Apothecary has a little bit of everything, furniture, household goods, collectibles, accessories, and so much more. Some of the things that caught my eye was a gorgeous patchwork bag ($28), salt and pepper shakers ($7.99), unusual lamps, a set of Campbell's kids spice jars, vintage Pyrex bowls, teacups, a Lenox vase ($15), and Le Creuset cookware (marked down to $95). Prices seemed very reasonable and the friendly staff let me know that they were available for help or to check prices. There are so many little treasures everywhere. He extracted the watch from the display case and let me inspect it. It was a beautiful vintage 1927 Illinois Bunn Special. (Here's a brief history via an authoritative source:) "In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Illinois became especially renowned for "railroad-grade" and "railroad approved" watches, valued for accuracy under demanding conditions (temperature extremes, positions, etc..). Famous models included the "Bunn Special" and "Sangamo Special ". These met strict railroad timekeeping standards (e.g. , accuracy within 30 seconds per week in various orientations and temperatures). At its peak Illinois was employing approximately 1300 employees and making hundreds of movements per day. In 1928, Illinois was bought out by The Hamilton Watch Company of Lancaster, Pa. The Springfield plant closed around 1932 amid the Great Depression and the original factory buildings were eventually demolished or repurposed." So I have to say I was pretty excited to have found one of these historic timepieces and it looked to be in great condition! Meanwhile Mike started searching a pocket watch database on his laptop via the watch's serial number and discovered a lot of useful information. I was very impressed with his service. He had a price attached to the watch and I asked him what his rock bottom price was. He knocked 20% off the asking price and I thought this was a very fair price- if not a really good deal! I purchased this historic and beautiful watch and I plan to give it to my brother as a gift. I'm very pleased with my purchase and experience here and will most certainly return in the near future. This store has a lot of different items (collectibles/antiques) to look at and choose from. If you're in the area I suggest you check them out.

Prices may be negotiable depending on what it is and who is selling it. I had fun exploring several rooms filled with jewelry, collectibles, books, porcelain, glass, furniture, and art. During my treasure hunt I found a china bowl with a sterling base that matched my Grandmother's Royal Rose china pattern. It was marked $18 but when I went to pay it was 50 percent off. Score! As I paid I got to visit with the owners adorable pet parrot assistant who helps with the check outs. I had a great experience and will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

A majority of this spacious spot is Mid century Modern furniture store but there is also a another section called The Astronauts Wife which is decked out with vintage/ retro clothes. I am a serial thrifter so I feel like I hit the gold mine when I found this store. Not only is the store full of retro treasures and very clean/ easy to shop... we had the honor of meeting one of the owners who was running the register and she was so friendly and welcoming. I regularly receive checks and updated lists of items that have sold, and when a consignment agreement is about to expire, they usually contact me to ask whether I want to renew it. Unfortunately, my experience with Nighten Day Furniture has been completely different. When I first visit the store，she was very friendly and enthusiastic. The store also has big space，so I decided to consign more than 100 brand-new items with her, including nightstands, wall art, home décor, and lighting. From the beginning, I gave her permission to price the items very low if necessary, because I wanted them sold quickly. However, this is the only consignment store where I have never received a payment. When I contacted her again, she even didn't know who I was and didn't even have my phone number saved. I have repeatedly asked for a list of the items that have been sold. I never received a clear answer. Please be very careful when doing business with this store and read the consignment agreement carefully, especially the 95-day clause. Make sure you understand exactly what happens to your merchandise when the consignment period expires.

Without a doubt, this is one of the most complete crystal shops in Central Florida. I can think of…read morecomparable great shops, one in Tampa, and another one in Daytona. Island Crystal is very impressive, having collector items such as Tanzanite, Moldavite, Libyan glass, and more advanced healing crystals such as herkimer diamonds and vogel crystals. I have not seen another shop with this type of inventory anywhere else in Florida. Island Crystal also has lots of incense, and a few racks of books. Many shops are dedicated to only crystals, and few have books anymore, which makes this place a great stop for anyone looking for information and for tools. But the tools don't just stop with the crystals, there are charts, trinkets, decorations, statues, anything you may need to kick start a spiritual journey. Additional to this, you find musical instruments used for healing, blankets and drapes, anything necessary to decorate your space. And also, there are many painting for sale.
