I was shocked when I walked in at how nice and cool this place is. It was clean, organized and well laid out. The furniture was in great shape and I would even consider buying some. This is one of the better everything, not just clothes, consignment store. I went in her looking for some particular and ended up looking at items that I didn't even go in here for. I love this place. I try to stop in at least twice a month to make sure I don't miss anything good. Great brands (White House Black Market, Ann Taylor, New York & Company, Calvin Klein, etc.), nice racks that are easy to sort through, many good quality items at a good price. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience as well today. I don't like to criticize anyone so this is hard for me. This morning, I had a lady wait on me at the register. I had this purse that I wanted to buy as a gift for a friend. It had red marking on it with the price that was half of what the regular price was. So I thought it was a good deal and I went to pay for it and she said when she saw the tag that it was not on sale grabbed it from my hand and said to me "I can't sell this to you." I felt humiliated. I would've payed full price for the purse had she given me the option. I mentioned to her that were there quite a few items around the store where someone had marked them down so it wasn't the only one and she gave me a look of disgust like maybe I had done it. It was my first time there and I wanted to bring more people in because I enjoyed the look of the store and I thought it was amazing. But I never will go in there again. read more

I have sold items with Turnstyle in Littleton, CO for over 3 years. I dropped off a men's Burton ski jacket in August for the Fall shopping season. I called last week, & they did not show that I had this coat under my account! After 4 conversations with them & 1 visit, they located my coat on a different account #. On top of that, the person I spoke to originally, stated that since I dropped it off before 9/1 & it sold before 9/1, that I would only receive 50% of what it would have been if it would have been after 9/1. Anyway, I finally found someone competent there (Katie), Assistant Manager since August, & she went the extra mile. She contacted the District Manager, & they gave me the remainder $ owed to me, in a GC! It's not what I wanted (she knew I wanted a check), but she honestly did the best she could! She specifically asked them for a check for me, but they still said NO to her. * I have Never had an issue with them, but I was very disappointed with the outcome. I thought Katie did a great job as an Assistant Manager & at least, went a step farther than anyone else would. The turnover is huge there, so I'm sure it is hard to train the revolving door sales people. I am going to stop doing business with them. Not due to this one issue (again, Katie was great), but because the Corporate Office was so unprofessional and obviously, not customer service oriented. *For your protection sellers: keep a list of all your items & dates of when you dropped them off & know their policies well!! I just love this store. I am a transgender Male-to-Female and am always looking for wardrobe. This store has a great selection and is well layed out. Hundreds of shoes categorically listed to the 1/2 size, row upon row of blouses,tops, pants, etc And the changing areas are roomy. The selections in the housewares department are numerous. Always have a good experience here. Came in today with my 2 teenaged daughters. They were having a 75% off green tags sale. Told the kids to pick whatever they wanted as long as it was green tags. All of us got at least 6 items and we picked up 3 things for my 11 year old. Bill came to $50. I consign here and use their store credit option. I've only dropped off one load of clothes, and I've shopped here three times on that credit. Staff is always nice and they've fixed the dressing room curtain problem. I have been in as a both a customer and a consigner and I can honestly say that the manager is one of the most disagreeable people I've ever met. At the outset, she seems sickly sweet but then she turns, criticizing absolutely every item for consignment as dirty or "disgusting". I went in recently with several pair of high end designer shoes that were like new and she treated me SO poorly. Another customer commented that she is "white trash" and acts haughty and derisive toward anyone she thinks is elitist because they bring or buy expensive clothing and home goods. It's a shame because she has totally alienated me as I will never return to consign or buy. Ridiculous! I'd much rather donate my beautiful items through the Salvation Army, be rewarded by the knowledge that someone else will enjoy them, and save the anguish of dealing with a truly miserable person. (My boyfriend, who was with me at the time, commented that there was a half smoked cigarette burning by the back entrance where she was working and he commented that she was probably so rude because she just wanted to get back to smoke it. At least that made me laugh!) read more

If you are buying - disregard this unless you are ethically driven. If you are a seller - beware. I brought in 5 shirts to have sold. I was told that I would have to wait a half an hour or come back that same day if I wanted to reclaim any shirts that they didn't want to sell. I was confident that they were in near perfect condition and sellable so I didn't wait. My mistake. I am aware of fashion and these five shirts were all sellable no problem. Three of them were Tommy Bahama silk shirts that go for about $150 new. The other two were just similar shirts to the Tommy Bahama ones. I called back a couple days later and they told me they gave all of them to charity. If this is commonplace for them, I think they should give you longer than same day before they donate them to charity. This was a big disappointment. I would have rather put them on eBay or given them to a friend. Especially the 3 really nice ones. read more

This place went from fabulous to a dump. Not sure what happened, but it's a disaster. Not organized everything looks like junk. Someone needs to go in and stage each room. And have all tiny items on shelves not scattered. Does anyone know who we could call such as an owner. They need a new manager and staff. Thumbs down on this store. read more

What a terrible experience. I brought some drapes in for consignment. The first girl looked at the drapes and said: "they look great we will take them." I brought them all in to the store. The owner then says she will be with me in a half hour. I return in a half hour, she looks at the drapes and says: "These look really good, but they won't sell here. I won't take them." I ask why, she replies "They are too nice, I don't think they will sell here." The implication is that her patrons have poor taste and/or do not like nice things. She wasted nearly an hour of my time. She was condescending, impolite, and doesn't seem to care about her customers. read more

This store has the most uppity attitude I have ever experienced. Brought some beautiful clothes and coats in. All I was told was that they didn't live up to their standards. Granted they have their parameters on clothing they accept but when they turn down items it would help if they were nice, smiled and, perhaps, offered an apology for not accepting items. I will never shop here. I will never recommend this store. I will do my best to divert everyone I know from shopping here - ever! I give this store NO STARS! The owner is just rude!!! I went shopping there and was looking for lawn art (rabbits, frogs, etc) and she brought out a box of rabbits, trolls and 1 frog. I asked her if I could see some more and she snapped at me!!! "We have a lot of items back there, you'll have to come back and look through the shelves." Geez, thanks. I'll come by every day to find what I want. NOT! I can understand her position but on the other hand I was ready to spend $100. Oh well, back to Act II where people are nice. read more

I have been a consigner for several years now. Every time I have gone in to drop off items, the employees and the manager have been very helpful and very polite. I have used other consignment stores in the past to take my items in for resale but I now only go there because of the great service. I had brought some of my hand crafted jewelry here for sale. I brought in 20 pieces. They sold 11 of them and I only received 7 back. Some of my jewelry had been stolen and they didn't have the currency to apologize for it. And I only received 10$ for 11 pieces of hand crafted jewelry. Even with the amount they take and sales I know that's not enough money. I will not be returning to this store and I don't recommend anyone to sell there items there! not impressed at all read more

I find the people there very unfriendly. They would not stay in business without people bringing in their items for sale. I will find another way to sell my stuff. read more

What a ripoff, do not take your stuff here, I had some beautiful velvet pumpkins that I wanted to have sold by them, went back to see how they were selling. They couldn't find and said they were missing and they said a manager needs to look for them, the last trip in, I was helped by another person who said they sold. First they are missing ---then they are sold. They were worth a lot more than we got. I feel so violated, if you care about your stuff and the handling they get don't bring them here. read more

This consignment shop is such a hidden find. I love the clothes, purses, furniture, etc... they seem to have a bit of everything and I think to be quite reasonable. Staff is always friendly the place is organized and clean. Some consignment stores are so crowded but this one is huge so plenty of room to roam for deals and treasures. read more

I have been consigning at this location for over a year. I brought in some household items to consign and there was a miscommunication the next day when I came in to pick up my items that were not accepted. Some of their new policies had changed and not everyone in the store was consistent in their message. I was not happy and asked for the Manager to call me. Piper called me as soon as she came on duty and was extremely fair, accepted responsibility for her team and asked what she could do to make things right. I will continue to be a customer and I appreciate her willingness to be an excellent example of a leader. I do hope she gives special recognition to Kristen(sp) who handled my initial reaction with poise and extraordinary customer service. read more

The store is nice and the staff is helpful. I have been going a few times a month since they opened. My big complaint is the curtains on the dressing rooms. There is not enough material to close both sides of the opening. The only room with 2 curtains is the handicap space which I have used. I mentioned this the first time I visited the week they opened and again today. It is very disrespectful to not give a potential buyer enough fabric on the dressing room door to feel they can dress and undress with privacy. Today the lady who checked me out said it was discussed in their management meeting...big deal:( This is a coed store! I am sure they could splurge on 1 extra curtain per door to solve this if they cared what the customers felt. read more

I have had a horrible experience Thus far at this consignment. I brought my things in and was told to wait 15 minutes. I walked the store and came 15 minutes later and the girl hadn't even begun looking at my items and then snapped at me when I asked how much longer to expect. I brought in 10 or so cashmere sweaters several dresses, high end bags, a pair of $200 Taryn Rose shoes, as well as other high end clothing totaling their allotted 50 Items. I called after two months and was told there was an $8 balance and that apparently my items were sold very cheaply and that they had been mis-priced. I was told by this person that they would call me back which never happened. I called again a month or so later only to be told the same balance. $8????? For cashmere and 50 items of decent worth. I am going to collect my things today and most certainly do not recommend consigning here. Certainly there is no balance between fairness to consigners and absurd discounts which don't seem to be done with any sort of discretion. read more
