I have sold here in the past. I tried calling several times today and no one answered. I decided to take several framed pictures there so as to speak with someone. The girl who seemed to be in charge told me that they were only taking selected pictures because they already had so many. I had jut looked through their pictures and they didn't have a lot. I asked her if, because I had them in my car, she could look at them. She said to come back next week. I'm not doing that. I'm here now. I just left. By the way, I was the only customer in the store. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I started going to this shop 5 years ago. The people working there were great. The last 2 times I went there the women were rude and downright mean. They don't ask you ..they demand ..in a tone that is not acceptable. I will not be returning to this store. I've shopped and sold items for years at this store. Hit and miss on customer service. Recently took 17 to 20 items mostly winter. Receipt said 6 items. It was late they were getting ready to close I couldn't find the lady that originally helped me so I left, but it bothered me. Went in yesterday got a printout of my items and there's a bunch of stuff missing. Now that I'm reading these reviews very disappointed in this place I'm not the only being taken advantage of. Had a very strange, rude and bad experience at the Turn Style store on Broadway and Mineral a few weeks ago. I had taken in two blouses and a jacket I had purchased for a credit. A young girl with long dark hair and glasses came to the desk and asked if I was ready to check out? I said I was returning. She looked at my receipt and said that I was two days to late for a return. Not happy, but not a big deal. I asked her if she wanted to take them back anyway without any store credit because I was probably going to take them to the Goodwill. She said no, that they did not have room for them! I thought that was a strange response, but ok. This is where she got very rued and unhospitable. I then asked if I could lay them to the side of the counter while I looked around? She picked them up and shoved them at me and said no you need to take them! (They have been happy to let me lay things on the counter many times before as my hands got full while I was shopping) so I thought that was strange also. I asked her why not and she again shoved them into my hands and said and I quote "because I don't trust you to come pick them back up!" I said excuse me? I just told you that I will get them when I am done looking around! She said, you just told me you didn't want them so I don't trust you! I said REALLY this is how you treat your costumers and she said this is what I am saying to you! As she was saying all of this in a loud tone there were other customers with in ear shot that were standing and watching the whole thing. "I will not say what I called her", but after giving her a piece of my mind I turned and walked out telling her that I will not shop or consign with them again and I heard her say "good!" I have never had such a rude and unprofessional experience by a store clerk like that in my life! read more

This has been a good place to buy nice home decorations, clothing and jewelry. However, dealing with a few store employees, has made consigning a little stressful. Sometimes, items have been mishandled and broken before consigning by the employee. That item has not been paid for by the store as a courtesy. Also, when cosigning very nice items, the checks are smaller than anticipated. If consigning a lot of items, they only accept a few at a time. They say they donated the rest, without asking if you want your items back. This is if you leave your items for them to look at later. Also noticed, some merchandise is priced high. There use to be very nice fine jewelry in the store. Now, seldom is seen fine jewelry for sale. Being friendly and courteous goes a long way. There are some very nice employees and some that need to learn from them. read more

I've consigned here before and had a good experience. Walked in today and the lady looked at my bag and informed me everything needs to be pressed and on hangars for her accept them. With a condescending demeanor. She didn't even see what I had, so I just kept my stuff. Walked up to the front to check if I have cash in my account and stood there for 10 minutes and not a single employee was to to be found. Ridiculous. I'm bummed. read more

It's 1 star if you are consigning, 4 if you are buying. They have nice things that come from people like me. Went into Marston 2 weeks ago, I was told to bring my items back Monday as they would be taking spring. I had 5 new pairs of jeans and almost new Sketchers inbox. I go back 2 weeks later and was told jeans had to be on hangars and they were not taking any shoes. I offered to hang the jeans if they would give me hangars and they said that was not permitted to take them home hang them and bring them back. That woman with blue hair should never work with the public, she is downright rude. No smile or welcome from her, ask a question and she will not answer. I used to love to consign there, I never took my money I always spent it there. I have consigned there for over 10 years so it was not always like this, but I am done. I am looking for a new shop. Don't bother even trying to consign there. They are rude and snotty. They act like they are doing you a favor to look at your items. Please, don't object yourself to their stressful rules and irritable attitudes. I recommend LOOP THRIFT AND CONSIGNMENT they are kind, friendly and want to work with you! I only decided to try TURNSTYLE because they were closer to me. I can only hope the owner of TURNSTYLE will run out consigners and go out of business. read more

This place is great. I've never had s problem. The store is good, employees are always helpful. The problem, is there is one, is some of the crazy customers who for whatever reason don't like that there are procedures when you sell at a consignment store. The store has LOTS of great options but they price the used items so high that it does not make buying things a great deal. Even with a 20% off special, their pricing is off. I have been a repeat customer for years, since they opened however almost each time I ask the manager a question I am met with rudeness, impatience and abrasiveness. I have no idea how she keeps her job, but I guess the company is desperate. I left a private message for them on their FB page two years ago and yet, no response. I have been here a couple of times and the staff is very friendly and their inventory turns over quite a bit. The prices are reasonable most of the time and if not then I just pass on those things. I used to love this store for consigning and buying. Today I had my car loaded and was told they could only accept one box of items due to COVID guidelines. Huh? I like this consignment store pretty well. They are large, so they hold a great deal of inventory. This is great for shopping, and even better for me because I am mostly selling. When I'm going on a consignment store run, I usually start at the snooty store on Littleton Blvd, but they are snooty so they don't take everything. I bring the extras here, and Turn Style will take almost all of it. They seem to be more picky about clothes than about housewares, but I have made a good chunk of change on both. My goal for 2016 is to do a massive declutter on my house, and Turn Style is doing a great job of helping me out with that. The one down-side is that the margins for consignors are lower here than at other stores. Turn Style will only give you 45% of whatever they sell your item for, and you get your money in a check instead of cash if you want to take more than $10 at a time. Slightly inconvenient, but it's money nonetheless! read more

I have had a few bad experiences at this place as a seller. I think it's probably a good place to buy but not sell. A few months ago when i came in to sell and was patiently waiting while my accessories were being reviewed I heard an entire conversation by two employees. Not only were they not going through my things but they weren't being professional and productive at all. I don't recall details but they should have had the conversation in private. After about 10 minutes when I came and asked for an update the employee snapped at me that with all these items it will take more time to go through. Much more time than they originally quoted me. I don't mind waiting if you let me know 15-20 minutes but does that count 10 minutes of nonstop chatter and not working...? Recently a manager asked if I wanted my hangers back. I said yes I did want them back but when I got to my car I realized she gave me 12 of 50 hangers. I brought 50 items in and she gave me 12 back. I marched right back in there and politely asked for the rest of my hangers. She grudgingly said she would have to dig them out of the donation box - like it was an inconvenience to her. The next time I came in I didn't have enough hangers so started hanging clothes with theirs and an employee RUSHED over to me like I was about to steal something valuable. She said I couldn't use theirs because it looks like it's taken by them already. That's fine but you could have let me know up front? Overall the feel of this place is snobby and pretentious. I'm a CPA, successful and smart and I bring really nice things here to sell. From now on I'll take my business elsewhere. Perhaps Ebay where the margins are much greater! That's the accountant in me . The person in me wants to be treated better than they treat you here! I think the ladies here could use some lessons on how to be warm and friendly and appreciative of the business we are bringing rather than treating us like felons. read more

After observing the behavior of what appears to be a manager on multiple occasions (towards consignors and customers), I've decided not to purchase merchandise here anymore. I definitely will not consign as customers are treated as a bother and the front register are left unattended. The poor customer treatment has to impact sales. I'd rather donate and avoid the trouble the managers attitude causes. If she hates her job as much as she acts like she does...it's time to move on. :( read more

I've been consigning here for years, but it seems that every 3 or so times I go to consign the ladies working in the back are rude. If I walk in with too many, they don't greet me and say, "how are you." They often just say, "we probably have too many right now." Their customer service is highly inconsistent. I have given the turnstyle Littleton store two chances with consignment items. I am very disappointed with their staff (both times). They rejected Ralph Lauren items that were new with tags and kept target items. They rejected three brand new Talbots and Liz Claiborne dresses and kept non name brand tops.... I don't think the staff even knows name brands vs non name brands. I also took some household items and they didn't even go through the box (I know this because they didn't unwrap the wrapping papers the items were in). Don't waste your time! Not an honest business. I called the front counter representative stated that they took strollers and high chairs. Against my better judgement I cleaned them up and brought them in. I get them all the way to the back of the store and make multiple trips. By the time I lug all of the stuff in the women at the back counter says "Yea sorry we don't take that type of stuff here." So rude. They couldn't even be bothered to say sorry or to help me with the door on the way out. Truly horrible buying/ business experience. read more

I've shopped and consigned here a long time and for the first time had an unpleasant experience with an employee I haven't seen before. I came to consign and the employee who let me in said they stopped consigning at 5:30 today, it was now 5:40. I told her the website says you take consignments until an hour before you close at 7. She said, "I know, but today we're stopping early". It wasn't so much what she said but how she said it, very matter of fact, no apology. Statistics show it takes 10 consecutive positive experiences to make up for 1 negative experience. This employee needs some customer service training. read more

Been a consignor here for 5 years. The staff is very nice and you can tell they work hard to keep up. Their COVID guidelines are a nuisance (1 trip in, can't shop while they go through your things, etc) but it's not unreasonable. The store is very clean and organized and the furniture is always set up nicely. The managers are very helpful and do a great job. If you have questions or doubts, CALL the store before you drive over. I don't understand why people are so upset about policy changes, every other store has had to change as well. read more

From a shoppers point of view: I've never consigned there but I LOVE to shop there! I've shopped in other consignment shops in the Denver area, and some of the are way over priced. At Turn Style, if I like an item, price doesn't have to play a part in my decision about purchasing it or not. I bought the most unique coat there yesterday that I love, and it was marked down to $4.50, and a pair of super fashionable boots for around $10. Their clothing is mostly up to date and in nice condition. They have an amazing selection of furniture and decor. I find the staff at the Littleton store to be very helpful and friendly. I am very disappointed with the way I was treated today. For People taking items for consignment beware of the rules! The rules change constantly. I spoke with someone four days ago and asked how they would like to receive my items for consignment. I know they do not take appointments anymore and I have a mix of summer and winter items. I stated that I was cleaning out my closets and I have A LOT of items. All I was told was that summer items will not be put out until next year because the season is almost over. She stated that they needed to clean up their warehouse before they can start accepting summer clothes. I asked if there was anything else I needed to know before I "fold and box" my clothes. She did not really say anything except No. Today I called back to ask what time they closed and If I could leave my boxed items because it will take them a bit to go through them. The associate was very rude to me and stated that they do not take more than 50 items at a time and clothes were to be hung clean and pressed and not in a box. I said I wish I was told that when I called a couple of days ago. I was nice about it and figured I could re-hang everything that I had washed and folded until this woman rudely stated that her staff would not have said anything different than what she just told me. I said that the associate I spoke to did not tell me anything when I asked what the rules were for dropping off items. I had been a long time customer and I knew the rules had changed but wanted to verify what they were. This woman Beverly or Brenda? argued with me and got louder as if that would make her point clearer. I am Not a five-year-old child that needed to be yelled at to understand. I am all about supporting local stores but this one I will cross off my list. I have bought several large items such there, as a china cabinet, glass top table etc. I won't be buying here anymore. My point of this review is to let others know that if you plan to take your items there make sure you know the rules before you go and get three associates to confirm because apparently, they are all on the same page until you go in there and are turned away. read more

This place is dishonest and a scam. I came in to pick up my items that didn't sell. Strangely, they were all of my top brand items. When I looked for them on the floor, I found that they were ALL missing. When I asked about it, I was quickly reprimanded with "It states in the contact that we are not responsible for lost or stolen goods." I am confident that my items never made it to the rack and instead found their way home with the staff who jump on the contract terms as their defense. Steer clear. If I wanted to donate my items, I would have picked a better cause than the dishonest and rude staff members of Turn Style Consignment. read more

The store itself has a great selection, and usually good prices. It's the new manger that's the problem. She is the one the reviewer below refers to as the "owner" but it's a chain with one more store here, and others in other states. This new lady is condescending to customers, short and embarassingly curt and bossy to her employees. She started my "intake" only to walk away in the middle and never returned, so she could run up front and scold an employee for something. (And I mean run, she is always "running"). Also, prior to her, they used to reduce items after 90 days, and then again sometime later. So, I took an item to her and asked if it was going to be reduced soon, because I had been watching it...and she haughtily told me that they only did "certain" items now, and that if I wanted it I should just get it now. I just started going to the other store on mineral, because they are a lot nicer than this one. read more

I went in to see if there were any designer evening gowns. The sales girl assured me there were and pointed to the area. There weren't many at all and the selection looked more like thrift store trash than consignment. However, I found a "maybe". As I was holding up the garment, I noticed a 'spot' on the dress. As my eyes focused on the flaw, I started to understand what I was seeing was a light brown creature. Just then it hopped off the dress toward me. I let out a scream and jumped back. It all came together....it was a flea. I caught the sales girl's attention (with my scream I suppose) and told her I needed her help. She came back to where the dresses were and I told her what happened. I asked her if she could please check to make sure the nasty little bug wasn't on me. She grabbed the dress out of my hands and told me to "just walk around the store". She took about a nano second to check to see if she could see the creature, half heartedly, and took the dress off the floor. I was freaking out and shaking my clothes. I expected her to come back. I don't know...maybe to apologize or see if I was alright. Nothing...she was already back up front helping another customer. Disgusted with the customer service and flea issue, I left. The whole experience bothered me. About 20 minutes later, I called the store. The super nasty help that answered the phone was speaking to me in a manner that upset me enough to remind her that these days people do read reviews on media such as "Yelp". Then she, in a very sharp snarling tone, said, "you don't need to threaten". I had not called to "threaten". I had called to alert management of the poor customer service and apparent flea problem in the store. I will never step foot in that place again. They also sell furniture. I'm left wondering how infested that is. If fleas don't bother you, by all means, give this place a go, but be forewarned of the horrible customer service. read more

we have tried dealing with this store on several occasions thinking that maybe the owner was just having a bad day, but on all days the owner has just been rude and unhelpful. It appears she has trained all her employees to answer with "Read your contract" to every question that a customer can ask. It also looks as though the owner goes out of her way to make descriptions on items that a customer consigns to be vague so that you will give up on picking up your stuff after the allotted time. She gives you a list of your items and tells you to go find them. But the descriptions are different than the ones in the computer. And asking any sort of question only gets the same response "read your contract". The owner is condescending, abrupt, and down right awful. We will never go to this store to sell or buy again read more

I have found nirvana! This place has the BEST selection of VERy hip clothes, shoes and hand bags for the business professional (men or women) and down time clothes as well. I bought every dress they had in my size! The prices are outstanding... I'm talking $11.00 for a designer dress! Not all of the dresses I bought were that price but pretty darn close! I will be telling everyone I know to shop here! read more
