I LOVE ALMONDS…read more Found these guys at the Civic Center farmers market that's right outside my school. Walked by and they had SO MANY ALMONDS. Oh my god they had a lot of almonds. I love the Applewood Smoked ones.. they taste like bacon. They have their usualy 4/$20 deal so I decided to pick a bunch of randoms. I tested the raspberry and sesame seed ones and I kinda liked them so I decided to get them too and then threw in some trail mix to fill in that last spot. I shouldn't've filled in the last spot with trail mix because the almonds were roasted and were very soft and had an unattractive texture in my mouth. The almonds in the trail mix are nowhere near the quality of the almonds in those.. amazing.. applewood.. smoked.. almonds. (Just my preference, I'm sure there are people that love the soft almonds just as much as the hard ones.) This is the only place I come to get flavored almonds. They're definitely my favorite :D

We purchased a full flat of strawberries, bowl of cherries, 3 baskets of blueberries and avocados. All were ripe and delicious. The owner was friendly and helpful. He cut an avocado to show us the size of the pit. We were able to try the cherries. When we are back in the area we will be by for more.

They mail their sales out in newspaper ink each week. They cater to multicultural clientele. Even though the lines do get long in here they often have more than 3 cash registers going at once and the lines move quickly. They have a large quantity of Mexican Latino products here as well as most grocery items you'd find in your typical grocery store. They are always friendly too and this grocery market along with Walmart, the .99 Cent store and Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market's have the lowest cost on groceries in town.
