I ordered the chicken parm and it was a filling meal pan fried to perfection. Good amount mozzarella and more meat then breading. Got a chicken ceaser salad along with it cuz I was a but hungry having skipped lunch. They lacked in service and the tables were not full. They had one waitress and two tables when I arrived. 20 minutes before I got a drink order in and another 15 before I got my drink. I went ahead and ordered my food along with the drink and the place got packed! Another waitress joined into help out and she was very skilled. Had she been there earlier, they probably would have gotten five stars. The food took about 15 minutes to come out and well worth the wait. Don't come here if your expecting a quick meal, be ready to chill and enjoy.

So naturally I was really impressed by Valentino's. Well priced meals, made with tasty, fresh ingredients, served by friendly confident staff made for a comfortable and relaxed evening. Our entire group ordered pasta, and no one was disappointed. Another bonus was the beer and wine list. It's always good to see restaurants stocking local wines, but even better, local beers. I'm starting to get bored of the same limited beer list at every restaurant. After this experience, I'm keen to get back to Devonport to try the rest of the best of Best Street!
