My yard went from a dump to a beautiful green carpet. I'll add one thing. Recently, I had a really frustrating misunderstanding with the owner regarding a fescue service. (Neither of us did something wrong, but a mistake was made) Was on the verge of cancelling and finding a new company. Brian was a gentleman throughout the process and instead of writing my frustrations off he remediated the situation. That meant a lot to me. Failed to provide grass fertilization services with false pretenses billing. Turf Wizards, LLC with (DF-manager) meet in person, verified the dead grass and made false promises to resolve the issue with aeration and reseeding at no cost to the customer, but failed to keep his promise after a lengthy discussion. Furthermore, Turf Wizards missed fertilization schedule but billed me. I have also advised my attorney of company above sending a fake invoice and making false pretense charges. Turf Wizards, LLC. services were cancelled months ago due poor service; therefore, the policy has been terminated without further payment and payment was made in full at the time of cancellation. Caveat Emptor, avoid Turf Wizards like the plague. I'd hired them to address the weeds on my property and five treatments later, I've got more weeds than before. Moreover, I just recently discovered this Company was "half-assing" their services. I'd come home several hours after a their "Service" only to discover didn't do the entire yard, but charged me as if they did. This explains why the weeds were always present, even after their "Service", which makes me wonder how long they've been short shrifting other unsuspecting customers. read more

I live in a new construction neighborhood in Fuquay Varina and hired Turf Wizards to fertilize/treat my lawn since it was all brand new sod when I moved in. It has taken about 8-9 months, but my front lawn and most of my back lawn look nearly like a golf course. The grass is thick, full and has a really healthy looking dark green color. The middle of my back yard has some spots that haven't fully grown in, but it just takes some time and a lot of watering everything. I can't recommend Turf Wizards enough and will continue to use their service. When they say their goal is to make your lawn look better than your neighors', they're not kidding! We installed a new zoysia lawn and the very next Spring it was already covered in weeds and crabgrass. By the time we contacted Turf Wizards, it was too late to apply pre-emergent crabgrass killer, but what they applied did kill all the other weeds. The crabgrass went away on it's own as soon as the weather turned hotter and we had mowed the grass a few times, exactly as the technician said it would. Our grass is now beautiful, very green and weed free. They give you the plan up front of what they are doing to the lawn with each application. There is no contract, you get billed each time they come by. I don't think what they are doing is rocket science, but they have the equipment to apply the product very quickly to the lawn. read more

Used them for 2 years. Front yard looked worse than when we started. Owner argued with me after they applied a treatment on top of leaves that were being removed the following day. Told him I wasn't paying because whatever they put down was gone. He got snotty and said I didn't understand landscaping and had to pay. Turf Wizards came applied pre-emergent and several other applications on my lawn for 2 seasons and did not produce good results. Instead I was on my hands and knees in the summer of 2016 endlessly pulling out crab grass. I requested assistance, produced several photos to the owner and they could and would not assist or address my problem. They did however continue to bill me for my final application and I refuse to acknowledge it as well. This year Tru-Green came in and eureka, my lawn is looking as it should especially in the backyard!
