The proposal by several included a crane, but the distance from an access point was very close to maximum. I got quotes from multiple companies and Paul gave me a quote for by the man-hour plus crane and estimated costs. I would definitely recommend Tree South for tree removal services!

He offered to provide the treatment, and he provided specific instructions so I could do it myself if I preferred. It worked! The tree has recovered. He came again this year to evaluate different trees that are in distress. He provided clear and comprehensive information on the issues and let me that know that no action was needed because the trees would recover. He also evaluated some trees I was concerned about on HOA property adjacent to our lot. He let me know which trees might cause an issue and which were not so concerning. I really appreciate how he explained information in the broader context of the habitat, our specific area and land in an easy to understand manner. Thank you, Brett, for your time and sharing your expertise!!

Called several tree services, Douglas Tree LLC was the first to actually show up for an estimate. We agreed to exactly what job we wanted done - cut the fallen trees, stand up the large trunk stumps, no hauling off etc. Agreed to a fair price, and we hired them. They initially had a couple of equipment issues, but were diligent about contact and after several trips - it did take them a few more days than expected, rain, equipment etc - but they did exactly what we wanted done at a fair price, no price gouging.... We highly recommend them, but it may take some patience... Ted C.

My husband and I would definitely NOT recommend Simmons Tree Services (they operate out of Central,…read moreSC). We hired them to remove several large trees, some smaller trees, to grind the stumps, and to clean up afterwards. They worked at our home for two days -- HOWEVER, they did NOT complete the work they had agreed to do. When we paid "Squirrel" (Mr. Richard Simmons), he saw there was still some work left to be done for the job to be completed. When I mentioned this to him, he said, "don't worry, we'll be back and make it right." However, they have not been back. The work was done in October 2022, and it is now May 2023. During this period, we have spoken with "Squirrel" several times regarding coming back to finish. Each time, he said they were just discussing us and would be out the following day to look things over to see what needed to be done so they could "make things right". However, "the following days", came and went. Now, when we call, he does not answer his cell phone (864-221-5133) or the company phone (864-634-6612). When he was paid (in full - which I should not have done), he said, several times, "we will be back and make things right." He seemed like a man of his word. Now, we are having to hire another company to finish what should have been done by Simmons Tree Services. We thought they were a reputable company and would do a good job, as they did work in our neighbor's yard, and we were very impressed with their work -- especially the clean up afterwards. We had a LOT of work done (for a lot of money). They did clean up some as they went along, but there was still much left undone and a lot of clean up needed. So -be warned - use another company if you want tree work done -- there are many good ones out there!
