Started off with bruschetta which was solid. And for my main, I got the diavolo which was really good. It was a Neapolitan style pizza and it was huge and uncut (not cut into slices). This place was definitely my favorite spot to eat at in Prague. I could be biased since I love pizza. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting or in the mood for pizza. * great service * outdoor dining available * Pepsi served here.

The pizza was a bit plain and unflavored. The meat pasta was pretty good, and it was nice that you were able to add your own grated Parmesan. Average priced and a good experience.
A glimpse of the inviting interior at Papaiolo, where delicious food and a warm ambiance await.
Freshly grated cheese tops a delicious pasta dish at Papaiolo, complemented by a crisp glass of white wine.
At Papaiolo, we believe in tradition. That's why we serve our authentic Neapolitan pizzas with scissors, just like in Naples!

Having just come back from Italy, I was delighted to see that they had an Aperol Spritz on the menu--basically felt like I had never even left Italy. I ordered the tagliatelle with salmon but as I was reading the menu, I noticed that they have something called strozzapeti which I've never heard of before. It's basically some kind of hand-rolled pasta so I decided to sub out my strozzapeti for that. It was pretty solid. There actually were pieces of salmon in creamy white wine sauce which was really good. The menu itself was quite extensive--really had a lot of everything and I would say it was very authentic Italian--though at a high cost. For my pasta dish, they have a normal and small portion, and my small portion was 167kc. But since this was my second lunch of sorts that day, I felt pretty full after my dish. My final total came out to be 238 kc which is not great but not terrible either. The food is very authentic Italian though which was really nice, so I can't complain. Definitely a place I would come back to if I were in the area. tldr; good authentic Italian food at a slightly higher price!
