The second year, our initial coach was let go, and then the new coach had also another team whom was also favored. All you need to do to research this club is to ask how many persons on the board have been around for longer then one year. They teach kickball, not soccer. I would not recommend this club to anyone who is serious about your child becoming a great player. And to add, I recommend never guest playing. Even if it is a CVU game, your child may not be covered under the insurance or you will fight for months to get a straight answer from any of the board members. Our daughter guest played for her same coach for the coaches older team and we have been fighting with insurance for over four months now to get the claims paid. If I could score them at a zero I would.

You name it, they've got it. I was overwhelmed with the selection they had... which is GREAT if you want to buy something, not quite as great if you want to sell something because they're in a position to be (and actually, at this point, MUST be) pretty picky about what they buy for resale. Obviously, they're not going to want to shell out $$ for something they don't think they can sell relatively quickly at a profit, so it's definitely a supply and demand kind of thing. Makes sense. If I was in the market to buy something, I'd definitely drop by.

Sunrise, a surprise 3.5 miles, and a birthday fitness gift!…read more Took my wife out to Maidu Regional Park for a 3.5-mile walk/hike as part of her birthday fitness gift, and honestly, this place did not disappoint! We got there around 5:45 AM while it was still dark because we really wanted to catch the sunrise. And let me tell you... it was absolutely worth getting up that early! Now, my wife wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea of 3.5 miles -- mainly because I may have conveniently left that little detail out beforehand. ‍ She survived though! The trail was well paved, clean, and felt very safe. There's also plenty of parking, and the parking lot was well lit. The actual trail wasn't lit, but honestly, it was so clean and easy to follow that we didn't really need it. I kept my phone handy and used the flashlight from time to time whenever my wife thought she heard something. As the sun started coming up, the whole experience got even better. Definitely a trail I'd like to come back to during the daytime because there's plenty to see and experience. And the timing was perfect. As we were leaving, a baseball team was starting to gear up for the day, which was a pretty cool way to wrap things up. Overall, 5 stars all day! Great place for a morning walk, some exercise, fresh air, and a beautiful sunrise. Two thumbs up! Definitely worth checking out!

Turns out - thanks to the guys at the shop - it was drilled completely wrong for how I bowl. Franks took my original ball, plugged and re-drilled (graciously) to get the right track so I could get the ball I just purchased, drilled correctly. Oh, and they got me a 'better' ball because the pin distance on the one I bought online was not so great. Old ball drilled correctly, new ball exchanged AND drilled correctly - all for the price of one drill. I will drive the hour it takes from now on just to not only get a ball drilled, but to also chat and ask questions to help me be a better bowler. This place is where you should go and I will still wear that shirt if they had one.
