In an effort to keep our customers aware of current reviews that "Yelp" seems to stock pile in a "Separate Folder" We are posting current reviews we have copied from their separate folder. Unfortunately in the past our store had some negative reviews. Since 11/2013 this store is under new management and has an entirely new crew of wonderful people. (As can be seen below by the current reviews that Yelp hides in a different folder) We feel its only fair that people have the opportunity to see the whole truth and are not subject to what a site wants you to see. Hopefully this post finds its way to the main screen and not the "not recommended for review folder"

I read the negative reviews and want to set the record straight as this store is under new management. I can sincerely say this store now deserves the highest rating possible. Fast, friendly, fair and knowledgeable are words I would use to describe my recent experience. The work was top notch and the staff one of the nicest I've every met. I would highly recommend them without a moment's hesitation knowing they will be treated fairly and with respect. I cannot remember the last time I was able to write a review like this one as businesses like this are few and far between. Thank you Tunex of Cedar City Utah for giving me an opportunity to write this review as my small way of saying thank you and to help others make an informed decision the next time they need a place they can trust!

Merril at Tunex has my business, he and his techs have worked on both of my trucks for me and they were able to fix them easily and at a great price. Merril is the new manager and has turned that place 180 degrees of what it use to be. I recommend all my friends and family to Tunex. He will treat you right.

Last week I brought my car into Tunex to have the mechanics there look it over. The manager, Merrill, took the time to explain what was wrong with my car and what it would take to fix it. In the end, they finished it much faster than I was expecting and for less than I had planned. I am so impressed with their efficiency and professionalism, I had to let you all know how very pleased I am with their services. I will be taking my car there from now on. I will also recommend them to all of my friends and family. Thank you Tunex!!

Whatever bad reviews this shop has had in the past, the new management is terrific! I have had a problem with the "Check Engine" light on my Jeep Liberty for a year now. Tunex Cedar City was my sixth mechanic and the only who didn't throw $300 worth of parts at the car just to shrug their shoulders and tell me, "Darn, I thought that would fix it. It could be anything."
Instead, they spent about three hours running diagnostics, narrowed the problem down and suggested I return to the dealer and have them change the Powertrain Module which is covered by the warranty. I did just that and now, after over a year of changing oxygen sensors, the harness, manifold covers and more, the car runs GREAT!
Did I mention Tunex didn't charge me a dime? They wouldn't accept payment because, "We didn't fix your car. The dealer can do the fix for free."
AN HONEST MECHANIC!
I'll be taking my car to Tunex in Cedar City for ALL of my repairs and maintenance.

The Cedar City Tunex was the best auto shop I have been to in a long time. Royce and Steve were very nice and my truck is running very well. If I lived in Utah I would take my car to them for service. Thanks John Spencer

Tunex at Cedar City was my third mechanic from my trip from Las Vegas to Denver. They figured out what the problem was exactly . The previous two mechanics just looked at the error codes and just replaced sensors. Tunex was able to fix my presistent car problem and I was able to make it back to Denver with no incident. Thanks guys.

I have been extremely happy with the results I received from here I had phone calls daily with updates and they always asked my permission before proceeding with any repairs needed to be done they even performed a engine check of some kind and found problems I didn't anticipate that could have caused some major damage to my car!
Very Impressed will go there again for any/all of my maintenance needs! read more
