Although I have a "Lifetime" guarantee and was told in advance to come from the west village to this specific location I was treated like a thug a thief. Like whoa ... Management was clean smelled good .. well dressed well spoken but ultimately went along with his disrespectful uninformed and in kind staff. I'm disgusted. They sold me a year old luggage and I was non the wiser then had the nerve to tell me to take it up with the airline. I don't know anyone has been disrespected in such a way at the store in fact I'm only heard good things. Even myself I have not had any issues .. but nothing I purchased from them had gone bad yet. Extremely disappointing and inconvenient to say the least. I would honestly like to blast the staff members' photo but I'm gonna be kind. Although that's something that they cannot manage at this location. NEVER again.

Then he had to bring the suitcase back to our hotel and meet up, wasted almost 2 hours of our vacation day. Would've much preferred being able to pick up later in the day on way back. However, repair was excellent.

Was in the city for NYE. Yes, it's as fun as one can imagine. It's also.....well, I was messy…read moreHahahaha! Because I got back to my cousins apartment at 630am! Was quickly reminded that, TIM! YOU. ARE. NOT. 20 yrs old NO. MO!!! So that being said, I hope it's awhile before my old ass acts like that again hahah! Actually, nah! Being a dumb kid is fun! Hahahaha! So being in the city, CLEARLY I had to get my friends souvenirs! Souvenirs for my friends who arrrrre....21 and 22 years old Hahahaha! So what's the most popular souvenir no matter what (usually)? .... SHOT GLASSES! But of course-hahaha!! So I stopped in here. Word to the wise....get your shit glasses, tshirts, etc somewhere NOT located in Times Square! Why? Because you will save a ton! Did I do that tho? Nah! Why? Well because of NYE....My old ass took like 2 days to recover. So while recovering...I went absolutely nowhere lol. So the day I'm leaving, I'm running all over Times Square looking for bagels for my mom and stores to get shit glasses and keychains, magnets, and some other things. Went here and paid 2x what I would elsewhere...outside TS. Growing up in NYS and spending tons of time down in the city as a kid and as an adult... I have ALWAYS known better than to buy in TS or around there, but I was in a rush....like so many in NY lol. I legit was tho. I was more worried to find bagels than anything else. Did I get bagels? Nope. Turns out my mom would have rather had NYC crumb cake (because I told her I bought a piece every day I was there and went to bed a happy fat pig lol) and she's like "forget the bagels! There's nothing like NY crumb cake! She's absolutely right. Mental note for next time hahaha! I got my crumb cake at a deli in Queens. Not important to this review, but yeah lol This place I got the shot glasses and other things at...super cool inside. CLASSIC Times Square store. Big, flashy, busy as hell! Great store! Minus the prices you'll pay and OH! And there's an old man who works there, I'm assuming the owner....NOT a very nice man. He deals with tourists all day long..Americans and everyone else from all over the world. I get he may be burned out. That's the case tho....step aside and let a happy person run registers and the floor. Other than that, it's a great place. You definitely feel the crazy NYC vibes in there and right outside is mayhem! Step outs and look to the left and there's the TS NYE Ball, the 2020 sign. Very cool! Thanks, yelperetties! Cheers!

Good selection with some inexpensive stuff. I had to repeat 4 times, Im just looking and had to hold on to my tshirt when he tried to take it away. I really didn't need a personal shopper to help me, I just wanted to browse. I really wanted to get a second shirt, but couldnt shop in peace.

I walked into a store that is organized and calm in a way that feels deliberate rather than accidental, and the layout across multiple floors made the selection feel comprehensive without being overwhelming. The stationery section is the strongest department and worth visiting on its own terms even if I came in for something else. I found the pen selection extensive, the notebooks covered a range of formats and paper weights, and the stamp station near the stationery area is a hands on element that tends to draw people in for longer than they expect. The variety across the stationery floor is deep enough that it is easy to leave with more than I planned to buy. The home goods section downstairs carries kitchen supplies, storage solutions, organizational items, and furniture pieces that reflect the same design philosophy as the rest of the store. Soft cotton clothing, luggage, and travel accessories round out the offering across the upper floors. I also picked up some Japanese snacks available near the entrance, worth grabbing if you are unfamiliar with the selection. For a calm, organized shopping experience that makes minimalism feel accessible rather than sterile, MUJI on Fifth Avenue delivers consistently.

This location seems to get stocked with the newest items first before I see them at some of the other locations, especially the accessories/gifts (like hats, bags, their new 2026 candles, and a variety of pillows). My favorite section is the top floor with their stationery, bathroom/beauty, and portable storage solutions like bag organizers. It also has the best stamps to customize the notebooks you've bought! In November 2025, they came out with the cutest NYC-themed stamps like a coffee one and a pigeon one.
