Brought it to a lifeguard's attention, they literally said "that is his area". We left after this comment. There appeared to be actual feces in the kiddie pool area. Not a just a little. The lifeguards at the diving boards did not ensure that yellow bands were on little kids' wrists. My nephew went over there and was obviously not 12. Nothing done. I took him away and put him where he belonged. I had three kids with me all different ages and heights. Lifeguards need to be lifeguards and not be checking out other teenagers and playing games amongst themselves. It was very obvious. Sad really. Won't be back.

Seems like everyone is following the rules and having so much fun! They will allow you to bring your own food, tables, and chairs in! They have a snack bar that seems to have something for everyone with great prices! The price to get in is so affordable at eight dollars per child. It's the cheapest fun you can have! If you're a parent/caregiver and you want to swim, it will cost you the same but if you just want to go in it, it's five dollars to enter. We typically stay the full rec time that is 3 1/2 hours. We absolutely love it. The splash pad for the younger kids is really awesome with a waterslide that's perfect for youngsters! That waterslide is so much fun and these little ones have a blast! I am not a hiker at all! But went on a short hike in the early morning. Luckily the day we went, it…read morewasn't too warm. Trails are easy to follow. I did, however, have to make multiple rest stops because I was dying lol. View was gorgeous and the picture does not do justice. There were maybe 3 other small groups when we got there but we were so spread apart that we didn't run into each other. On the way back down, I had a mishap and my shoelace hoop hooked onto my other shoes hook and I took a nice fall. It was my mistake and not the trails. I didn't even try to fix my mistake because as we were nearing the parking lot, I tripped again (same reason) and I fell on the rocks right before the asphalt. We had a good laugh. The employee who was on the golf cart was on his way back and saw me on the ground. He kindly asked if I needed help but I was too busy laughing and embarrassed that I declined his help. This will definitely be a memory to remember!

It's on land owned by the…read moreLand Trust of Napa County and to visit ATP you need to go on a guided hike with them at least once. I've been to ATP twice now. The first time was back in 2006, but I didn't review it back then. Went back today, Sat 1/16/10 so I could see it again & review it. We left Fmt and got to the meeting spot of the guided hike in 1hr20min. We meet in the Target's parking lot on Trancas Rd. They have 2 flush toilets w/ tp in outhouses down the hill by the picnic tables. We started hiking about 9:30am and finished about 2pm for a 7-mi loop hike. We did Maggie's Peak which is on private land. It's pretty steep, nice views on the top. Then we go down & hike on the side of the cliff, cross creeks, go down more steep & slippery rocks on not really a trail - just sides of the cliff. Saw the bottom of Devil's Well - nice waterfall, then climb a bit and see Devil's Well - you see a nice tall waterfall, and a middle waterfall that you can barely see. There's a rock scramble they call the Jumble that is a bit tough, but doable. Tons & tons of ladybugs when we went Sat 1/16/10. Ladybugs seem to like creeks & open area where they can get sun. Heading back saw a cool Hexagon rock - it's neat. Note: Leader found two ticks on her she removed after the hike!! Ticks in the area! Recommended. Website: http://napalandtrust.org/index.shtml
