The staff are some of the most knowledgeable and genuine people in the coffee world you'll meet. David & Matt on the bar pulling shots, and Bobby and the rest of the roasting team are incredible. Some people working, some people socializing, but not crowded or loud. It's in the burbs but feels quiet and plenty of parking. Menu- my almond orange latte was truly life-changing. I will be trying to recreate this at home for sure. Not sweet but lots of flavor. The espresso here is excellent, not sour or bitter, very smooth. The blueberry muffin was truly the best muffin I've had in my life, and I do not say this lightly, I am quite picky about muffins. Fluffy and moist, the blueberries were not mushy. And the jalapeno scones was shockingly good and it was even gluten free. It was more similar to a shortbread in texture, which I preferred over a scone actually. Very buttery and tasty, not spicy if you're sensitive to that. It was $17 for these items, so higher than expected, but spot on for unparalleled quality. Friendly service, and very fast. I ordered the Iced Caramel Delight Latte with almond milk, and I really appreciate that they allow milk substitutions without an extra charge. The coffee itself was very good, with a strong and noticeable coffee flavor that stands out compared to other shops where the drinks can taste water down or overly milky. I didn't taste any caramel in the drink, but the quality of the coffee made it enjoyable. I also tried Peppermint Mocha Blended coffee. Peppermint is one of my favorite flavors, so I was excited to order it, and it didn't disappoint. The peppermint and mocha both came through clearly, creating a refreshing and satisfying treat. For something, sweet, I ordered the 3 Berry Tart. They warmed it up, which was a pleasant surprise, since I expected it to be cold and plan to heat it at home.
