If you're ever curious about checking this makers space out, they have tours every Saturday at 1pm. It's an amazing facility. The building opened in 2022 and it was made just for them so it's a huge upgrade from their previous location, where they were for 11 years. They now have an open floor plan with high ceilings and lots of natural light along with 20+ machines available. From laser cutters/engravers to water jets and 3D printers, the resources they offer are mind blowing. Fab Lab Tulsa is one of 1500+ MIT-chartered Fab Labs in 90+ countries and the first in the southeastern region of the U.S. (that's right, not even Dallas has one). Aside from the studio on the first floor, they have a metal lab and a wood lab, each with 10+ machines available. Both labs have a minimum age and require PPE to be worn at all times. The second floor has classrooms and a conference room. They have a membership model with lots of options depending on how many hours per month you'd like to have as well as what room. The pricing starts at $39 a month, which sounds like an incredible deal since you get to use machines that are $30-60k. Classes are also available for signup on their website along with education programming for kids. They have a couple of workforce initiatives as well. This is a huge asset in our community!

It ranked 19 overall and 3rd in the list of Large Nonprofits. I have worked here for half a year and I absolutely love it. The leadership is inspiring and receptive, the work environment is the best I've ever had and the actual services we provide are invaluable in our community.

They called my name within 5 mins and took my documents and interviewed me. I was in and out of there within an hour. They even have little computer workstations for the kids to use so they are bored during the interview. There is a waiting list bc of limited space, but they are enrolling throughout the entire year. You can enroll your children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years and it has no cost to you!
