This is the worst manicure of my life. This was a regular polish. I couldn't say it to the boy who did it because overall he was very nice. But for paying $17 for a manicure , I don't expect this.... I'm really disappointed and this looks disgusting. He was slapping on a thick coat of polish and when it dried it created wrinkles. I mean what is this. UPDATE: I went back in after posting that review because I was really annoyed with how it looked. One of the ladies quickly took it off and redid it. But I'm annoyed with how much of my time was wasted. Updated pic attached.

    What she gave me.

Horrible experience!!! *She overbooks, cuts corners, and rushes to finish your nails. Im use to nail SPAS where they take their time giving you a proper manicure, massage your hands, talk to you like a homegirl.... a whole serene experience... THIS. WAS. NOT. IT!!! I didn't even get lotion for my hands. *My appt was at 5p and at 5:30p she had another person booked for an appt. At one pt she was doing both of our nails at the same time. *She began to dig the dip powder off of my nail instead of properly soaking it off (rushing). *She gave me an overlay instead of a dip manicure and then became defensive when I asked her about it. * She BUTCHERED the design I showed her. Literally, "what I asked for vs what I got". And when I asked her to fix it she refused to take accountability and acknowledge it was poor execution. If she was unable to do the design then she should have said so when I sat down and I would have picked something else. *Her attitude was trash! Maybe I caught her on a bad day but I did not feel like I was getting good service. Even though I spoke to her respectfully (calm, direct, voice leveled) she continued to be rude and defensive by saying "how long she's been doing nails", which is all irrelevant when I am a paying customer who is not pleased with the final product. She even had the nerve to say "well don't come back". Ma'am ...it is not about me "coming back", you have my money and I want to like my nails. *Had to pay extra for her to redo my design and even that wasn't great. *Oh and the design that she "redid" is already chipping. Word of advice: Be either the nail tech or manage the salon...doing both is chaos and you are clearly overwhelmed. Don't book appts 30 mins apart. Don't take ppls deposits and then act as if you're doing them a favor instead of treating them as customers. And lastly, if you can't execute a design then SAY SO. Hi

Table top where I got my gel nails done - looked like this before and after. So dirty!

My SIL and I were looking for a fun afternoon out while my parents babysat her babes, so we decided to get our nails done - a gel manicure for me and a pedicure for her. Neither of us are from this area so we went Tulip based on location. Our first warning should've been the heavy chemical smell that hit us like a wall when we walked in. It was awful, as if they had no ventilation system, but we decided to stay and went to our separate stations. When I sat down at the manicure desk, it was filthy (I've attached photos). Everything was covered in nail dust and didn't look like it had been wiped down in weeks. Plus, everything was pulled from the dusty racks or an equally gross looking drawer and nothing was sanitized or came from a sanitized package. The tech gal then removed my old gel manicure with an extremely rough rotating sander, rather than using acetone remover, which began to hurt after awhile. She then had me soak my fingers in a half cleaned bowl of lukewarm water before re-sanding my nails with a medium/high rough grit rotating sander, which is concerning because at this point my nails are paint-free and began to destroy the top layers of my actual nails. The polish part went fine, and then after slapping some cuticle oil on she said I was done. I was surprised not to even receive a cursory hand massage, which I've always had with the most basic manicures in the past, but given how dusty and dirty everything was, it may have been better that way. My SIL said her pedicure was okay, but the male tech didn't seem to listen to her about rough spots on her feet and the color she chose was much darker than appeared on the samples she was given (which I also found for my own nail color choice). I immediately texted my mom afterwards, who had recommended the place based on location, to never go there in the future. AVOID!!!

went here for the first time today with a friend and we were helped quickly! I showed Lynn the design i wanted and she negotiated a price that was very good. I got a full set with a really cute design and Lynn did such an amazing job. 10/10 recommend and can't wait to go back for a refill.

not crazy busy and the workers were so nice and the vibe was just chill! i would definitely recommend!! i love it here

I came here with my bestfriend who recommended the place. I got my nails done by a girl named trang and she did an amazing job, she was so sweet and I 100% recommend this place to everyone!

I went to get matte nails and i showed the guy the picture i wanted my nails like. The pink was too light and used a weird glitter polish. My nails were gel at the end and not matte. I then asked for my brows to get waxed. I regret it. There was still waz residue on my forehead and eyebrows. She gave no warning when shed pull the paper. And when she gave me the mirror it wasnt near my face. I had to put hand lotion on my face and eyebrows 4 times and there was still wax residue. I regret picking this salon.

very sweet, nails were done quick and well. everyone who came in while we were there seemed like regulars and loved Lynn and the staff. relaxed atmosphere and you're treated as a friend. we are both happy with how our nails came out

I read some reviews about this place before I came and I knew that some people might have bad experience but I still wanted to try this place because one of my friend recommended me to try. I came to get my nails and feet done for my graduation and they did them good. The guy didn't speak English but he was very gentle when he did my feet. Everyone there was friendly, they really tried their best for everything that I requested. The place looked a little messy when I walked in but that was understandable because they were busy and I guess they usually clean up in the end of the day. I acknowledged that this place was not a 5star salon and so I couldn't ask for too much but I was happy with the price I paid, my nails and toes looked good so I would recommend this place to you if you look for a affordable place. I have a little tip for you here make sure that you tell them how you want it and if you knew that you wouldn't be happy, you could always tell them to stop before they finish the service so that you don't have to worry about paying for something you don't want. Just make sure you kindly speak up when you need something and I am sure they would be happy to serve you:) I hope this helps

I spent over eight hours in the salon for foil highlights and a cut, a service that should have taken around three hours. It got so bad that the owner had to step in to take Rose's other clients that day. Later, I received a call from Alicia apologizing for both the poor results and the horrible experience. She admitted it should never have taken that long and offered a redo of whatever I wanted to make up for it. Fast forward to when I called to schedule the redo--I was told the earliest appointment was three months out. Then, despite being promised that the next service would be fully covered, I was informed that I had to pay for the cut because my complaint was only about the dye. Even though my experience was awful and I was treated poorly by Rose, I agreed to pay for the cut because I needed it before getting my color fixed. A week before my appointment, they called to tell me that the stylist for my cut was out, but they could still do the color. However, if I wanted my original stylist to do the cut, I'd have to wait another two months. When I expressed frustration, I was rudely told that they are a "pre-booking salon"--as if I hadn't already waited three months. They expected me to get my color done first and then wait two more months for the cut, which isn't how balayage works. I asked if someone else could cut my hair before the color appointment and was told no one was available on that day. Eventually, they squeezed me in a week earlier, and I paid $80 for the cut. On top of that, I was upsold an oil and deep conditioner for $125 because they claimed my hair was dry and coarse. Finally, when I came in for my "on them" redo of the dye, I was charged $30 just to have my hair blow-dried, so I wouldn't leave looking like a wet dog. I thought this was supposed to be a complimentary service! And to make matters worse, the junior stylist who did the blow-dry didn't even do a good job. On top of everything, the redo dye was a balayage, and when the stylist started, she told me that achieving the look I wanted would take multiple appointments costing nearly $300 each time, plus an additional $60 if I wanted it blown out before leaving. She was able to do some balayage but said she mostly just needed to fix the terrible lines and blend my hair before she could actually create the look I asked for. Like an idiot, I booked another appointment because I'm getting married and wanted my hair to look good. But two weeks before my next appointment, I found out through a Facebook post (not from the salon) that the stylist no longer works there. Was the salon even planning to tell me? Were they going to wait until the last minute--or not tell me at all? The whole process was supposed to involve two appointments spaced six weeks apart to achieve the balayage look. Now, thanks to their lack of communication, I'm left scrambling to figure out what to do before my wedding. This entire experience has been a nightmare from start to finish. Their attempt to keep my business was a complete joke, and I will never be returning.

This is a review of the massage services…read more I desperately needed a massage but on a budget so of course I hit up Groupon. I chose this location because it was close to home. My appointment was for 12:00 on Sunday, which was perfect. It was my birthday weekend and I had plans the day before. I received a call that morning asking if I could move the appointment to 1, which was only slightly inconvenient so I agreed. I arrived at 12:45 as I expected that there would be forms for me to fill out. It's in the great Creek Rd area so you can get a massage and hit some of the local stores and maybe even have lunch. Parking was a bit limited in the front of the salon but I got lucky. I was immediately greeted and given the clipboard to fill out. The only uncomfortable item about this is that as these forms do, it asks medical information. When I returned the form to the salon receptionist she was reading it. Not exactly information that I wanted to share with someone outside of the massage therapist. I don't know if the owner was there as she didn't introduce herself. That would have been nice since I was a new customer. The therapist arrived just slightly before 1:00. I expected he would have been there sooner, especially since it was cold out and cold hands don't make for a fun massage. The Good and Great: Jeremy is an EXCELLENT massage therapist. I've had massages at some of the best places Ritz Carlton, Arizona, Caribbean, etc and he is very talented, attentive, great pressure and communication. I got a swedish and expect that a deep tissue would be even better. After the massage he explained his technique, the benefit of massage, etc. I will likely go back and I've already recommended him to others. The not so great: - So the massage room is at the rear of the salon. If you're looking for a fancy spa experience, this isn't your place. Although he has relaxing music playing you will hear conversations from the salon. I went on a Sunday when there weren't many customers, so it may be louder on a busier day. - The room smelled like hair spray, hair products, etc. It could definitely use an aroma therapy mister. - The room temperature. Since the bed isn't heated the room should be warmer. They need a heater in there during the cooler/cold months. Or heat the oils. But there were definitely moments when it would have been nice to feel warmer.
