My only complaint would be that my loved one died on a Saturday morning. I tried to contact them on Sunday during business hours and spoke with someone who said a funeral director would call me back, but no one did. However, once I called on Monday and spoke directly with a funeral director, everything proceeded smoothly from there. All the paperwork is done on-line. Their prices are good, a big part of this is likely because the office on Millikan (in the City Hall Building in the Beaverton Round) is apparently just a small office with low overhead. The cremation is done through Riverview Abbey. It was done quickly and I was able to pick them up at the Millikan office (you can also pick up at Riverview Abbey). They can mail them to you as well. Obtaining death certificates through them was also easy, as was getting an obituary posted to their website. They are very professional, responsive, and happy to help.

I arrived just after 4:30 only to discover they were closed. So I went to see if they had posted hours by the door. Just then some guy rolls up tells me they are closed, thanks captain obvious. Then proceeds to ask me a bunch of questions which i was in no mood for. Not very tactful so I did not respond kindly. I hope to god this is not the beginning of a regretful experience. From the looks of these reviews I am quite concerned. People are mourning their loved ones, don't berate them with a bunch of questions just because you geniuses don't have the common sense to post your hours anywhere online. Do better!!!!

We heard something good about this funeral home and thought we would try them out to create a wonderful service for our loved one. I just wanted to warn some people before you waste your money at this place, these people are very fake and two-sided. They seemed nice off the bat, but during the reception for my cousin's service, as I was coming out of the restroom, I overheard two of the staff of this funeral home speaking ill of my late cousin. I was so appalled and didn't want to make a scene, and I had to go sit in my car and take a few breathers so I didn't go smack somebody. If you want a funeral home that will take care of your loved one until they are in their final resting place, DON'T GO HERE! If they are happy to speak in such negativity towards their clients, they deserve to have an honest review here. Once again, I am absolutely appalled. What they need is new management and a whole new staff.

My mom was on hospice for 8 days, I provided the hospice with Cornerstone's name when the time came. Elizabeth and her team came to the house to pick up my mother, it was a very dignified and lovely parting knowing my mom was leaving in the care of Cornerstone. Elizabeth is a one woman show and still is able to be super responsive and on top of it all. She is very professional, friendly, incredibly compassionate, and deeply dedicated to her profession. Prices are affordable and transparent. Cornerstone has been in business over 20+ years and Elizabeth has been a mortician for over 30+ years. While my family and I only used cremation, Cornerstone offers a variety of options: Green Burial, Visitations, Burial Services, Funeral Services, Eco-Friendly Water Cremation, Gift of Life, Witness Cremation, Military Honors, and Natural Organic Reduction. There is NO cookie cutter approach to death and what the next steps are. You can create a celebration of life on your terms, or whatever your loved one expressed before they passed. In addition to her steadfast work as a funeral director, Elizabeth wrote The Green Burial Guidebook, gave a TEDx talk called, "Going Green: The Last Act of Environmental Volunteerism", and is the voice of the autopsy exhibit in the forensic wing at the United States National Museum of Medicine. She worked with Herland Forest in Washington to steward the first natural organic reduction human composting. In closing, sure I could have just written a simple 5-star review and listed the details of how Elizabeth and Cornerstone assisted me with my mother's cremation, but I felt they are so deserving of you knowing how incredible they are and all their services. There is simply no other choice when it comes to funeral services.

My dad was a Buddhist, and the funeral home worked tirelessly to find a suitable person to perform the ceremony. They negotiated with the broker to secure a price close to the original quote and updated their service costs accordingly. Every person we spoke with was empathetic and generous in spirit. Losing a parent is incredibly difficult, and the shock of it all can leave everyone reeling. Despite the intense details we required for the final rites before cremation, Weddle Funeral Service handled everything with care, ensuring that every request was met perfectly and coordinating the spiritual services seamlessly. First we drove into Gate 1 which must have been the original entrance. There was an old, beautiful building that was locked - we were told later that it used to be the main building but they now have a new building that is more updated. We did drive around at the first area which was absolutely beautiful. There were many trees and old graves. We exited the park and drove around to the main entrance and noticed how very large the park is. We were there during the summer where they limit water use. Very much like the other cemeteries we visited, most of the grassy areas were brown. In the fall and winter the rains apparently make it lush and green. We met with Jesze Moloney who was so very kind. He drove us thru the park, showing us the different areas and pointing out the plots that were available and we went over prices. It was very clear to us which area our father would have picked - the Imperial area complete with a pagoda and water fountain - the area was apparently designed with the help of a Feng Shui expert. Jesze walked us through the whole process and bent over backwards to help us thru everything. We are so grateful to him for making the process as smooth as possible. On the day of the funeral, they did a lovely set up in the pagoda per our request. We appreciated the individual tissue packages on each chair. Jesze made sure that our flowers remained on the grave site and sent us photos. He's a true gem of a human and having him by our side thru this difficult time was a true gift.
