It's the fair. It's packed, messy, and full of people. But the fair food. That's what it's all about. And maybe the live band.

It was pouring rain, and instead of making a reasonable decision to move the event, the owners stubbornly insisted on keeping it at their venue, even though it was completely obvious it wouldn't work. At the very last minute, everything had to be moved to our warehouse just so the event could even happen. The amount of disorganization was unbelievable. When we got there, it somehow got worse. Only two people were trying to set up the entire event by themselves. Two. The owner was nowhere in sight, and it was painfully clear that nothing had been planned out. We even had to find our own bartender the same day because Evergreen didn't bother to provide one. Throughout the night, those two workers were doing everything, setting up, running around, keeping things together, and honestly, they deserved far more support than they got. If Evergreen had actually provided staffing, preparation, or leadership, the whole event wouldn't have been such a disaster. I can say without hesitation that I would not recommend booking any events here EVER AGAIN. The whole experience screamed understaffing, zero accountability, and complete lack of professionalism. As an attendee, it was frustrating, chaotic, and absolutely unacceptable. This venue is not reliable, not prepared, and not worth anyone's trust.

The food was amazing and the bartenders were great. Thank you to the Evergreen team and making our day special. P.s. New owners have updated the paint and refreshed the whole area & it looks amazing!!

It was very easy for a very young child to walk around the whole area, no stroller needed. There were lots of animals to see, feed and pet. My only concern is that camel is in an extremely small space as is the longhorn cow. Some goats and llamas have no shade or shelter during the day. I did not see anybody being unkind to the pets, but there was not enough staff to patrol the people and keep the animals safe. Some of the animals backed away when I tried to pet them, even though I was being gentle. I hope they have alternative space and shelter to the ones I saw.

Small, but perfect size for little kids. Cost is $10 per person; under 2 or 3 is free I believe. You can also purchase feed baskets to feed the animals. On the day we went they were having a holiday event with Santa and Mrs. Claus and the Grinch , and decorated with Christmas decor- cute. Taking pictures with all the characters was on top of our list. The animals were out and about; our kids loved seeing the animals up close. They have a private parking lot and there is also street parking available. This is a nice place to take the family without the extensive crowds.

The venue has an old Victorian type style to it. Plenty of shade for those hot summer events. The area for the wedding is a short walk from the reception area. They have a bar and very nice bathroom area. It is hard to find a problem with this venue. You do have to drive over a narrow bridge that might stress some drivers. I've driven over it in a full size pickup with no problem. The food was excellent and plenty of it. I would suggest this place for your event.

They include so much including the furniture and lighting, and we got a good deal on the dance floor. We chose this venue because it encompasses what we love about Visalia, with the greenery and the oak trees. Many of my guests have commented on how beautiful it was and thought it was very unique. The only concerns were regarding the bridge getting to the venue, but we did not have problems with it, and with getting our rentals out the night of the wedding, but it was easy to coordinate. The food was amazing, as we expected from Fugazzis. From the time of our tasting, we knew the food was going to be good. We had ample choices for our appetizers, the entree options were delicious and plentiful, the desserts were really good, and the late night tacos were a huge hit for our guests. Silvia was so helpful in planning the day. From coordinating with my vendors, to answering all of our questions, she helped the day go smoothly. She is very knowledgable and had good suggestions for our other vendors as we were doing our research. Overall, it was a great day, and I am so happy that we chose to have it at Victorian Garden.

Took us about 20min from being behind a customer, to placing our order to receiving our order. So a little longer than a regular drive thru but the food is good! Pro Tip: the habanero sauce is fire! I mean it will literally taste like fire when you use it, so be careful! Her other sauce is so delicious! Perfect spice and flavor! The habanero is for when you really like a kick to your tastebuds! Get it! Asada was more tender and almost shredded compared to a lot of the other places I go to. I didn't mind it! Burrito was a win and would come back for another. The Esquite was good! It definitely tasted more like melted Mayo with corn sitting in it but it wasn't a bad thing. The hibiscus was fantastic! Taste was one of the better drinks I've had from any Mexican restaurant. Pro Tip: be ready for them not to have certain things. Being a mom and pop shop, the day we went they didn't have horchata or tamales. Give this place a go if you're ever done getting your car washed, or happen to be coming or going down this area. Make sure not to pass it, it's right next to Gozen.
