Tuff Sheds are a superior product. We watched the build of two relatives Tuff Sheds and were so impressed with the looks and quality. I began by designing one online which was fun. Then my husband and I went to the Stockton Location and worked with Chris to build the actual shed. just a small 4x6 sloped roof cutie. The builder Will showed up early the morning of the scheduled install by himself. He was a pleasure to watch work. Very efficient. Then the problem. The door was 6" too short. I am honestly not sure how that happened or at what process the error occurred but it stopped the build. Will notified the office and they scheduled the new door install for two days later. heavy rains were expected so Will did a great job of covering the opening with plastic and it kept the rain out. Will showed up two days later with the new door but had the wrong hardware. He was able to coordinate a quick delivery of the black hardware, door put on, paint up complete and all is well. really didn't delay more than an hour. We had a shed built and the process was smooth and until after the built. I was dealing with Steve Hunt, after the built the shed. Let me point out that Steve did us a huge favor by going to Lowe ordering and paying for our paint, out of his pocket and yes I cash app him immediately! I notice that the back and near the middle had so many blocks underneath it! So let me back up, I had a gravel pad put down, but another company. They level it out. When the builder came, he borrowed my shovel to even the gravel out. I was doing yard work and went on about doing my work. I wished I saw what he had done before I left from watching him- because he level the front and left the back as it was which resulted in a higher back. Which is why he used so many shin & rocks. Now before he even started I asked him was it leveled and he yea, yea and proceeded to work. I called and sent pictures to Steve and the guy supervisor and log my complaints. They sent out someone and he look at and said well it is level inside. But the back of the shed is still sitting up high- the builder suggest that I have my husband put more gravel underneath it. As i said before, I paid you all to built it- not ourselves! I am not happy with the outcome- I feel like once it's built and they leave it's up to you to complete anything that they didn't do. One more thing , the unit couldn't be lock, because the builder didn't have everything with him! The locking system was missing and they already canceled me the day before. I wasn't happy, after my husband had taken the day off and they job was canceled around 11am. They were supposed to be at our home by 9 am and when I called to check, oh they are on there way! A Tuff Shed 14x20 Premier Pro Tall Ranch with a man door, 2 windows, 2 vents, 1 roll up door and extra joists to withstand heavy items was built for our backyard. Steve Hunt, our sales representative, worked with us to fit our needs with timing and payment. He was very patient, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the process from beginning to end. From the design development, financial aspect, build location, engineering plans, city permitting, progression during the construction, to the final inspection, Steve was available to answer our questions clearly. Steve handled the affairs with the engineer, the city permit and scheduling. On the days of the construction, we had a team of 2 of brothers, Artem and Dmitrie. They were in tune with each other. They didn't even need to speak much to each other as they worked so well with each other complimenting each other strengths. They innately knew what to do and anticipated each others' needs during the build. They were experienced especially in erecting large Tuff Sheds to meet city permitting requirements. Artem and Dmitrie were absolutely respectful, bright and kind, so much that we bought lunch and enjoyed our meals with them. Their field manager, Jesse, also came out to address any concerns, to bring materials and to assure that any imperfections would be fixed. It was a great experience overall, 5-star customer service and the quality of the building is a sturdy 5-star. Our Tuff Shed is the envy of our friends and neighbors as the colors match our home and complement our property. We highly recommend a Tuff Shed as they are custom built and detailed to your style specification of size, colors, windows, doors, etc. Needless to say, we are thrilled with our new addition. Door leaks back wall opposite of doorway not screwed Ali the way down to floor, had to put weather stripping under wall to seal the floor to wall. Same wall siding not mail tight to wall studs had to us flex seal to close up gap. Called Tuff Shed was told the door does not seal. Metal door strip at bottom was cute short on one side. First ran water ran right in. Replacing door today we will see what happens. read more

I am extremely displeased with the service I have received with Tuff Shed. 100% hands down the worse service I ever experienced from any business. I spent weeks attempting to even get an appointment scheduled and went through the hassle of not getting my calls returned, staff failing to remember my measurements and losing my photos (3 times each!), staff attempting to refer me to other shed businesses since they were "too busy" and a list of other excuses I was given. And by staff I mean CJ. Unfortunately CJ also happens to be a manager for this location. I needed a new door on my existing Tuff Shed since it was damaged and it seemed like I was a nuisance to CJ for needing a new door that I was willing to pay for since it was out of warranty. He attempted to refer me to other shed businesses, which I did not want to do. I wanted to keep my door consistent with Tuff Shed. I was finally given an installation date (after over 10 phone calls) of 2/11 with a time frame of 8 am - 10 am. I took the day off of work and used my personal vacation hours to be available for this appointment. 2/11 comes around and the installer did not show up in the time frame. I called the office and was told other jobs came up that he needed to go to first, but I was ensured he would come. I was confused about how another job came up after my appointment was set and took priority over an existing appointment. Around 3 pm, I received a call saying they will not make it. I spoke to CJ and explained my frustration and I was told they do not like installing doors and they did this job as a favor. Instead of getting proper customer service, I was guilt-tripped into why the order was even approved. There was no sympathy in adjusting the price or making things right when everything has consistently been going wrong. I attempted to contact the Tuff Shed Customer care department, but they never responded to my email. Tuff Shed was once a company about customer service and doing good work. Here to update my review. The project was finally completed after MANY AND I MEAN MANY hurdles. As of today we have had to contact the warranty people to get the roof fixed 4 times since the project was done a year ago. The shingles keep falling off and then it takes weeks for them to send someone out to fix it. We said this is the last time we are calling about this, and if it happens again we want the entire roof redone because this is ridiculous. They told us someone comes out to inspect it and there is a process and blah blah blah. All BS that I don't want to hear. My dad had a tuff shed built years ago (over 20 years) and NEVER had these problems that I am having now. I stand by my review that you should look elsewhere for units to be built. Apparently they want me to continue to call them every other month for the next 10 years to repair the roof when the shingles fall instead of backing up their work and redoing the whole thing to nip the issue. read more

She was very informative about their products provided a lot of information and was very patient with my many questions. After my husband got home from work we discussed it and decided that to sheds would have to wait till the springtime for us to purchase. I have dealt with a lot of customer service Representatives and would like to commend this Roberta lady we're going over and above by providing me with her personal phone number just in case I had more questions after hours. I know that was not in her training manual to do so.. well they were waiting for the springtime my husband and I wanted to express our appreciation for her customer service skills. Although we're waiting for the spring time to build a tough shed in our yard it is my hopes I will speak to her once again in the springtime. My shed was installed approximately 3 weeks ago and when they installed it they didn't send the correct trim color for touch up, I had to contact the store and let them know and I explained the issue and they said they would send someone to correct it the week after. The week after came and they sent someone who was very unprepared and unprofessional to do the trim touch up. That person did not have a ladder and did not have any paint brushes. All he had was a roller and the trim paint. Needless to say he spilled the trim paint on the base paint and simply wiped it off with his shirt it seems like. That person did a horrible job and left and didn't even tell us he was done. I never heard back from tuff shed until I had to call them back and explain once again the situation. The person on the phone promised to fix the situation and again the next week came and when they sent the people to paint it they only came with the trim paint again and not the cream colored base paint to correct everything that was messed up. Those people left and said they would come back with the correct paint and I have yet to be contacted by the store and they have not returned. I didn't pay $5,000 dollars for a f'd up shed and I expected much better customer service and results from a top of the line shed as to why I went with tuff shed and not with Yardline or some other cheaper brand. I was planning on purchasing a much bigger shed next summer (10x12) for the other side of my yard but I'm going to have to find a different company because the customer service results I've had with Tuff Shed are completely unacceptable! read more
