Well where do I begin??? Day one they came out and measured and were coming back in a week. When they returned they did not measure it correctly so had to remeasure and come back the next week. When they returned, they forgot to bring anchors and vents. Another week goes by. When they returned they completed job. It took them 4 weeks!!!! All because of their mistakes. Yelp did not keep my first review- very irritating. The experience with the location was less than desirable as the communication died once bill for shed is paid. We were not offered an integral part of the shed and then when ordered because of the installer alerting me to their existence, there was no follow through. No communication other than to say it was bent but do you still want it. Confusing. Love tuff shed and initial experience with Haley was great. Don't ask for a discount though due to their negligence because the great halts immediately. read more

First of all, a great big shout out to Haley Lumpkin, who made my new shed possible. But more on her in a moment. I needed to have a shed built on site due to space constraints around my home. My house is located in what lately has become a hurricane prone area in the panhandle of Florida. I looked at every shed company available to me and even spoke with some local building inspectors and everything pointed towards Tuff Shed as the top choice. Tough Shed is incredibly easy to work with as they take care of everything. Lot leveling, permitting, construction even financing if you want it. We ran into a few snags due to local ordinances and setback rules, but these problems were all solved by the good folks at Tuff Shed. At one point it appeared I did not have enough room in my side yard for the size of the shed I wanted, but switching to a Lean-To style made it all possible. I was able to customize everything from window locations to roof pitch, roof overhang, type of foundation, shingles... Even color matching the structure itself. The shed came out great! Haley Lumpkin was there for me and this project every step of the way. From picking out the correct size, lot location, Local code and wind rating requirements for my beach location... absolutely everything. Haley never asserted any kind of pressure at all and was extremely patient with my very particular requirements for this project. I wanted a lean-to and I tried Home Depot's Tuff Shed design tool and it said "not available in Florida". So I went to Tuff Shed directly, same tool, and voila! Sales rep Haley responded within an hour. I worked with her on some design changes (door placement etc) and after a couple iterations, I had what I wanted. The process of getting my shed built was a nightmare, due to lack of communication, and no pride in their work. I finally got it built and it was marked as complete and my shelf was not complete. I had to send pictures to prove it wasn't complete. The workers also didn't clean up behind themselves. Tuff shed sent someone out at their convince to finish the job, which also took me calling the home base office. The person apparently wasn't given the proper information because he showed up without what heed needed to complete the job. There was another person sent out to finally finish my shed, but there was no apology or anything for the problems at all. The ice cream on the cake was my door fell off because they used screws that were too small, once again no apology, despite my shed opening to rain and thief, I was given a repair date almost or at 2 weeks from the date I reported it. I had to email corporate to get a different date to get it fixed, once again no apology for any of this. I will not recommend my local office to anyone. I do love the shed itself, but when I spend my money, especially this amount, I want a company that values me being satisfied not just with the product but with the entire process, from start to finish. Good customer service and communication make for a great company and that is not what I received from them. The nonchalance attitude about my issues just added insult to injury. They couldn't go back and fix the issues that occurred but they could have tried to make me feel they were apologetic and showed some empathy. The worst!! Never show for appointments to fix their screw ups!!! We have two(2) left doors on a $6000 building!! We have had 2 appointments with a no show! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Ongoing product support issues: The shed paint color that we specified/ordered and they agreed to was incorrect upon delivery/assembly. A repaint was provided...but the wrong trim color was applied...A necessary second coat of the new paint has not been done, after requesting that this job be finalized multiple times. We asked that their painter immediately remove the paint buckets and roller which were left outside the shed - weeks ago. Still, no action. Also, all roof hurricane strap metal screws are rusted, which was previously pointed out to the sales rep...We requested replacement with stainless or galvanized...Still, no action. We've invested over $5,800, and were assured by the Mobile, AL GM that we are a "Valued Customer" in his congratulatory letter. Never again. read more
