I decided to pop in to pick up some items for Fall like cozy robe, active wear and lingerie. I found everything I was looking for and at a great price. It's great to see that they are using CDC guidelines to keep customers and employees safe, allowing us to enjoy our shopping experience. They wash the baskets in between customers, have social distancing markers on the floors and they have converted the aisles to One way. All the employees are wearing masks and the line moves a little slow because of social distancing. They don't have as many registers open but check out those cute coffee cups and did you see that popcorn? The store is in a great location. There's plenty of parking. I see the reviews about customer service but I never have a problem, everybody's super friendly and very patient. Besides I'm in a good mood because I don't have to pay full price.

She greeted us when we arrived in her section, asked if she could help, helped us checkout and was converstional and friendly. I told her she was the first person in the store to utter a single word to us despite us visiting sunglasses, perfume, clothing and bedding areas prior to reaching her area. We encountered many employees that looked down while we were in talking distance. Why are stores like this dissapearing, hmm, look no further than what we experienced here. Shameful, since we can buy this on the internet. Today we purchased a Cuisinart toaster, that did not work when we got home. We packed it back up amd came back to the store and assumed we would go to customer service to return the toaster, nope. Apparently, customer service does not do returns, maybe this department should be named something else. After waiting for the person in the back room packing something who is clearly not paying any attention or aware of us waiting at the counter in customer service. When she finally looked at the counter, she came to help us, another girl showed up and said you have to go back to where you bought this, I explained be bought it here at Dillards. No, you need to go back to the department. Good grief. So we went back to the department where Kayley was still smiling, she gladly helped us again. In Georgia, this was my go to store for many things throughout the year. I will buy from the internet rather than come back in this store again. The call was placed on hold over an hour (I recorded that entire call). Turns out same employee that accused me is the one that called answered. I turned my self in and fought this in court. My charges were dismissed due to no evidence. This is after I paid a bond and paid for an attorney. The Walmart Employee that accused me of theft was arrested and charged with a felony retail theft. My case was dismissed due to no evidence. She was accusing innocent people to cover up her theft scheme.

I completed this in Florida. I moved to Mobile in April thinking changing my address would suffice. HA! Don't know where my $40 went but now I get charged for delivery tip every time, whether the Mobile store actually gets my order to me or not. I only receive about 1/3 of the orders I place. The rest I get a message saying it can't be delivered & I'll receive a refund. What's the use? This is the worst system I've ever encountered. I'm not saying Florida is better than Alabama by any stretch of the imagination BUT Florida uses its own employees and its own vans for delivery and I never had an issue. Here in Bama I've had young women deliver my groceries in their personal cars, bringing the kids along with them, including bringing them right to my door. That could potentially cause WM problems, in case they aren't aware. And their shoppers are terrible. I've tried several times to cancel my Plus membership but those requests go unanswered. I've now traded Wal-Mart for Rouse's & Pop Shelf. Cleaner, nicer, better products. No delivery but as an old Boomer, I'll make do. That's what we do.

I'm in here often for bird seed and groceries. Today, I just tossed the 20 lb bag of bird seed over my shoulder and a stocker saw me and insisted on getting me a basket. I told him I was okay, I usually do this and he grabbed the bag from me, tossed it over his shoulder and carried it to the self-checkout for me. He wanted to know if I needed him to carry it to the car and I told him that I was okay. This is true customer service. Thanks Walmart. Welcome to the neighborhood.
